He is a treasure. We will see him August 2nd at the Portland Zoo. Seen him twice before but it has been some years now. Looking forward to it, he always makes me smile. I just thought of something, were you there when Greg Allman played at CHS? I was in the front row with my arms on the stage, with Cher and Chastity dancing in front of me. ?? Kids were passing doobies.?

Whatever Happened To Mike Quick?

He slowed down? -
Boudreau has coached a team to the playoffs in 10 of his 12 years coaching in the NHL and has the 4th highest winning % in NHL history for coaches over 100 games. He did it with 3 different teams. This past season was the first in 7 years to not make the playoffs. I would be psyched if the Sabres got him.

Fournette busted in Jax. INterested?
Turk71 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Coughlin ripped him at the end of the season for being "disrespectful" "selfish" adding that his behavior was "unbecoming of a professional football player". That does not sound like the type of character the Bills would want in their locker room. I very highly doubt the Bills are interested, but obviously I could be wrong. His guarantees are void, if that stands the Jags could let him go with no dead cap. Either way, trade or fa, he will want a new contract and almost certainly more money than the Bills would pay. Another team will overpay him imo. -

That is what I asked, you don't just let a top 5 pick walk after 2 seasons cause he was driving without a license. They have already voided the remaining guaranteed money in his contract. I say that tells me they think he is not very good or a very good teammate; and that they made a big mistake and are trying to recoup some of their losses. Chandler says they are letting him go just because he is an idiot, but they wouldn't care if he was an idiot if he was a good rb. -

Actually he was third highest, behind former Ducks Blount and Freeman. He was 5th lowest in time spent behind the line of scrimmage per play, Gore was 2nd lowest. What I found interesting was the efficiency rankings, efficiency defined as how many yards were run per yard gained. Gore was very efficient while Fournette was not. In fact Gore was the 2nd most efficient in the league while Fournette, McCoy and Ivory were all bottom 10. https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/rushing#efficiency click at the top of each category to see the rankings. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/rb he was 32nd out of 46 rbs here, Gore was 14th, McCoy was practically dead last in every category. The Bills need some talented youth in the backfield but I don't think they need Fournette, even if he wasn't an idiot. -
one of them would slide outside. The Bills would have a top lb corp for many years to come. I also doubt this happens but its not as if they would be playing the same position. I am hoping they can trade back but if they have to stay at 9 and their top target is gone, I think they stick with their board and take bpa. If that's White I'm fine with it.

I think it comes down to attitude. Rosen has always impressed me as an arrogant, egotistical, soft, self entitled douchebag. Allen impresses me as a confident, hard working team player. Time will tell if he is the better qb but I was glad when the Bills said Josh they followed it with Allen. Plus my great grandmother was an Allen.?

What that says to me is they don't think he is a very good rb. If they felt different they wouldn't let go of a top 5 pick after 2 seasons for that offense. They are basically admitting they made a big mistake and trying to recover whatever they can. -

His 3.3 YPC was almost as terrible as McCoy(3.2) last year. In his 2 years he has not even avg 4 YPC yet, and he is a complete ####### as well. No thanks, never has impressed me at all and you know he will wanna get paid more than he is worth. -

You are such a heartbreaker Joe. Poor Charlize, I hope she gets over you. -
My favorite Van show was at Mac Court Univ of Oregon with Bob Dylan opening. I was in the front row next to Ken Kesey. The Masonic Auditorium show in San Fran was also one of my favorites. Van is a bard of the highest degree.

There were as many running backs as tight ends in the top 50 in receiving yards, 5.

Christian Wilkins at 15 please. OT and wr in 2nd rnd

That sounds great, and a great way to get more people to the game. I went to a bunch of A's games in the early 90s when I lived in Berkeley. Just took BART and got super cheap seats. Had a good time.

A good friend from Cincinnati was swept up in that rush. I met him working at the Grand Canyon in 83, we would travel to Dead shows together. He was an all state rb at Moeller High in Cinci., a burly dude. He told me he was lifted off his feet outside holding his ticket in the air and his feet didn't touch the ground again until he was inside the building and past the turnstiles. He said he thought he was gonna pop he got squeezed so hard. Scary. I worked crowd control outside the Rich stadium Who and Clash show in 82. They liked my style and gave me a bullhorn and told me I could party a little with the people to do my job. There were a couple thousand wasted people in line long before the gates opened, a lot of Canadians and punk rockers. I told everyone with my bullhorn "remember Cincinnati, someone could get hurt and it might be you. We're all here to have a good time, lets have a good time and look out for each other". We all had fun and it went smoothly.

I have seen so many its hard to pick a favorite. As a kid in Buffalo two shows really stood out. The Grateful Dead at the Aud in 77 and The Who at Rich stadium with The Clash in 82 just before I left for the west coast. Saw a ton of great shows at the Aud, Jethro Tull, Santana, the Kinks, Frank Zappa, Yes, Moody Blues, Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles etc. and the Summerfest stadium shows like Elton John, Blue Oyster Cult with Skynyrd, Frampton, the Stones, etc. I remember a crazy Tubes show at the Century theater I think, and a great J Geils Band show at the Kleinhans(I think) with so many gorgeous girls dressed up and dancing in the aisles, before a lot of their cheesy hits, and then a lot of other shows I can't recall at the moment. Since then some great shows I have seen include Pink Floyd, the Allman bros around 10 times, Jerry Garcia Band (Jerry alive of course) around 50 times, over 300 Grateful Dead shows with Garcia, Jerry and Grisman 6 times, Stevie Ray Vaughn twice (the last time was at Deer Valley Utah a couple weeks before he died with Taj Mahal opening, Stevie just got out of rehab and was on fire), Jimmy Cliff, John Lee Hooker, BB King, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan over 10 times, Van Morrison 5 times, had a food booth on the Horde fest tour in 96 with Rusted Root, Blues Traveler, Natalie Merchant, Kravitz, Dave Matthews, that was a lot of fun; Santana over 10 times always a great show, Tom Petty a few, Dave Matthews band over 25 times because my wife loves them and they always let us in the front pit at the Gorge Amphitheater , David Lindley around 8 times who I fed mushrooms to backstage in 85 at a Park City Utah club, Widespread Panic, Phish, String Cheese a bunch because I know Mike Travis, Jefferson Airplane reunion Golden Gate park the day John Denver died Grace told us from the stage, Hot Tuna a few times, the last time I got to sit on the edge of the stage right next to Jorma at the old Sweetwater in Mill Valley, went to Telluride bluegrass fest a few times late 80s and that was always an incredible show. Too many other good shows to list. Sorry about the lengthy response. Bad shows I have seen are less numerous but one really stands out, my wife dragged me to an Alanis Morrisette show in Portland Or. and she was awful, sheer torture and my wife agreed. Bucket list the Talking Heads, Dire Straits, and Peter Gabriel immediately come to mind. Led Zeppelin is the show I will never get to see, had tickets to the Rich stadium show in the 70s that got canceled when one of their kids died. Would have loved to see Bob Marley and the Wailers or the Beatles back in the day as well, without all the screaming though. Once again sorry for the length but it was great to relive all that in my memory.
