Honestly I don't even want to ruin the show. If you don't know anything about it and you like good and really unique storylines and great acting, watch it. The creator/director also did Haunting of Hill House. It's a bit of a slow burn, but it's amazing. Also... plenty of social commentary mixed in there... specifically of a religious nature.

Don't care how it looks? Fine... I'll be in the minority. I care how this team looks... I think it's important to have a team firing on all cylinders and getting Ws rather than lucking into a W because the ball luckily keeps bouncing their way and the refs keep giving them calls. I'll obviously take the latter... but absolutely prefer the former... and I think some of you who are saying otherwise feel the same way. And if you do.... you care how it looks.

I'm sorry, but this team has reached the point where how we look also matters. We care about getting to the Super Bowl and winning it, don't we? If you don't, that's where I am. Anything short of winning the Super Bowl this year will be disappointing to me. Finally, I feel like I can legitimately say that. Of course I'll be happy if we win, no matter what. However, being ecstatic about a win and having viable concerns about your offense are not mutually exclusive. I want Buffalo to be the best team in the NFL and win the whole darn thing. I don't want them to be the Pittsburgh Steelers of last year who won a buncha games despite some serious offensive concerns that were eventually exposed late in the year. Forgive me for dreaming big... but that's what I'm doing.

See... this I disagree with. This is a head vs. heart thing for me: HEAD: We should win this game because we're clearly better in 2 of 3 phases (Defense and Special Teams) and on paper are at least equal on offense. Mainly... we should win because our Defense is Elite. If they play that way this week, our offense doesn't have to be great because this won't be the shootout so many think it will be. HEART: I'm a Bills fan. This is a big game on the national stage. We'll lose.

You're confused. I'm talking more about the national narrative, not my own personal feelings, although I think a lot of what you're saying here is a little simplistic. Allen knows this is a huge game for him in his career and it's about playing well... not just getting the win. And the Buffalo Bills' offense and Josh Allen would like to remind you of how they felt after a 35-0 shutout of Miami... a game where Allen and the offense didn't play very well.

Total and utter rubbish. I'd use an American slang word but it'd just be censored. This is a gigantic game to me on so many levels. If we lose this game, the Chiefs start creeping into that category that the Patriots were in for nearly 2 decades. Buffalo needs this win. And in terms of individual players, I think this is a game Josh needs to play really, really well in. This is the game where if he plays exceptionally well against one of the NFL's best teams on the road in SNF, there can be no doubt among ALL the NFL (not just Bills fans) that he's among the cream of the crop in the NFL at QB for the next decade plus. If he loses and plays poorly... or even if we win and he's meh like he was against Miami, we'll keep hearing some of the doubters (more than just Nick Wright... who just doesn't count considering today he said KC is the best team in the NFL) talking about how "Josh Allen is too inconsistent" or "Josh Allen shrinks on big stages" or... fill in the blank. I want this win so goshdarn bad. And all the quotes from the players and coaches about how this is "just another game" is just plain horsehockey.

He's been the most consistent player on the team through 4 games... I really hope this is just a blip and he's good to go.

I respectfully disagree. I like them both, but Singletary looks like the better back right now. He has better vision and looks more explosive. Yes, I think Moss is the better short yardage back... and I really do think this is close... but Singletary is the one who needs more touches this year. ...and the fact that he's my fantasy RB is completely irrelevant

Completely agree with your first 2 sentences. As for your last sentence, your umbrage over a post that was not itself really even as much a criticism as an observation is a little over the top. Allen hits enough of those bombs where I'm really not worried... and I also think he will get better. But unless he changes the way he throws his deep ball, I just don't think he'll be top 2 or 3 in the league at those types of throws. Now... I think statistically he could easily be the best "deep" passer in the NFL all year when measured according to yards. PFF measures a "deep pass" as any pass over 20 yards... and I think Allen will always be money in that 25-35 or 40 yard range down the field because that's his intermediate range. Like I legitimately think he's already one of the 2 or 3 best "intermediate" passers in the NFL... it's just that so many of his intermediate passes are deep passes for other QBs. I just think he'll need to change a lot mechanically to become the most consistent deep ball (bomb) thrower he can possibly be. With him, it's possible... but we'll see. Regardless, it's not even remotely a point of concern for me as he's already good enough at it.

3rd and 15s and 3rd and 20s aren't plays we have to worry about because that's right in Allen's wheelhouse as a passer. Anything 10-35 or 40 yards beyond the LOS is money for him simply because that's his intermediate range. A WR running a sideline route 30 yards down field is no biggie because Allen can put the ball on a frozen rope and get it to him without a problem--just look at that Manny Sanders TD pass in the OP, which travelled about 40 yards in the air... and that was without Allen even setting his feet. Those aren't the throws I'm talking about. I hope you actually understand that. I also hope you actually understand that I am not saying that Allen is always going to be bad at the deep ball throwing... just more inconsistent than the best in the league. And that's simply because of the way he throws it. As another poster mentioned, if we could let those routes develop more often so his deep balls travel 60+ yards down the field, things might work out more consistently.

Oh he absolutely can still hit the deep ball and I don't think he's a bad deep ball thrower... I just don't think he'll ever be as close to automatic as Russell Wilson is. But Allen doesn't throw a rainbow deep ball, which is kinda what I'm saying his issue on his deep passes is. I don't know if he'll ever adjust to doing that. Ummmmm... what????

You honestly might be right... maybe we need to really give him some 7 step drops with max protect and let him chuck the ball 60-70 yards down the field more often. Hopefully Stevenson develops into a legit deep threat.

I just don't think Allen is ever going to throw those consistent rainbow dimes that Russell Wilson (best deep ball thrower in the league, IMHO) or even Patrick Mahomes throw. But ya know what... that's okay. First of all, the reason I don't think he reaches that point is his tendency to throw a flat ball on those traditional (using that word on purpose... I'll get back to it) "bombs" QBs throw. Now... I think Allen is accurate enough on his deep balls and I think he can get better, but I just don't think he'll ever be the league's best. But once again, that's okay. I think Allen is already up there with Rodgers as the most accurate intermediate passer in the NFL. Here's a good example: ...but wait... that's a pass that traveled nearly 40 yards in the air without Allen’s feet planted as he's running to his right. Wouldn't that be a "deep ball" for a bunch of NFL QBs? Yet Allen throws a dime with such ease. So while I think we will occasionally get upset for missed bombs down the field from Allen that he probably should have hit (week 1 to Manny Sanders... though that one was really only off by a yard or 2), we can rejoice that we have what looks like one of the most accurate intermediate passers in the NFL... and that intermediate range appears to be anything up to 35-40 yards beyond the LOS. Pretty impressive if ya ask me

Shockingly thoughtless and unnecessary post from you. And I mean that sincerely based on your posting history. It's impossible to argue that Allen isn't significantly more effective as a scrambler than a designed runner. Like... MUCH more effective. Now... before this turns into something like you conflating the words "suggest" and "recommend," I would never recommend that Allen scramble as much as Michael Vick, but if I were in a conversation with Brian Dabolk, I would suggest that he make sure Allen understands that scrambling for him is more than a good option when plays break down
