Certain posters are calling this race over, but the truth is Josh is still right up in front even if he's lost steam in the last 6 quarters. I expect a big bounce back game for him next week. It's 6 quarters of bad football from Josh. He was the clear and obvious MVP through 26 quarterz. He still has 36 quarters to play. Relax. Throughout his career Josh tends to bounce back pretty strong after crap games. I'm most worried about that potential arm injury right now.

Oy, that was First game since I can't remember I'd primarily put on Josh for the L. If we're being even and honest about this game, though: it was a divisional road game against a surprisingly good (and probably overachiever) team with 2 of our best defenders out due to injury. I won't speak for the rest of Bills Mafia, but I think I overrated our offensive weapons. Thought Knox would be a top 10 TE this year. He's not. Diggs is absolutely one of the top 3-5 WRs in the NFL, but I really though Davis was about to prove he's a 1B to Diggs this year and now I don't even know if he's a good #2. Yeah that last play he couldn't catch it because of the defender (DPI???) but there was a 3rd and long play where Josh put it right on him as he was coming back to the football and he dropped it. Not an easy catch, but an NFL WR should catch that. He's had too many of those lately. Starting to jump on the Odel Beckam train... On a final note related to all the "Josh shouldn't run so much! All I know is we better see some MASSIVE criticism of the Eagles after tonight's game against one of the worst teams in the NFL. Last week Buffalo dominated the 1st half and went up by 17 and seemed just happy to let Green Bay eat clock while getting some yards and points. The Eagles were tied with one of the worst teams in football well into the 3rd quarter.

And to establish objectivity since you brought it up, were "corrected" but didn't realize you were corrected incorrectly... you're right, Josh has more Turnovers than Patrick. It's 3 more, not 1. There were 2 fumbles lost credited to him... fairly or unfairly. However, Josh has 1 more TD, pretty dead even on yards and most importantly is on the team that has the better record and won the head to head thanks to him, rather than in spite of him. Josh still clearly in the lead.

Such a weird game. Buffalo clearly the dominant team. Allen clearly the dominant QB. Yet, he missed multiple throws he typically routinely hits and threw 2 pretty boneheaded interceptions. And don't accuse me of being overly critical... Josh said so himself. Personally, I expect him to have a spectacular bounce back game next week

Huuuuhhh? I had 374 yards per game in the OP. @Doc was correct that I miscalculated. I was off by a yard. He actually averages 373. Forgive me, I was a little inebriated and miscalculated slightly right after the game since totals aren't updated right away. It shouldn't have taken Einstein to figure out that was rushing included.

Have you spent time in prison? Asking for a friend... The cameraman fell backwards on his butt carrying a bunch of equipment. He could not have remotely been mistaken for a player of the opposing team, which would be a bit more understandable, but not necessarily excusable. I said he should be suspended for a game, not banned from the NFL. That was a pretty serious action on his part.

I don't think it's an overreaction for the suspension. Players get suspended for in game fights all the time. This is the end of the game off the field and pushing a cameraman with a bunch of equipment and no pads or helmet to the ground. The guy could have gotten seriously hurt. Heat of the game is no excuse. If he comes (came?) out with a genuine apology about that after, I'd probably change my mind on him being a price. Yes, I realize this video was in the game thread from last night, but it seems to deserve its own discussion. EDIT: Sincere apology:

Whether he's #3 or #4 this year almost doesn't matter to me as long as he sees the field, which I think happens.

Allen is just unbelievable and it becomes that much more obvious in person. That was spectacular to watch right from the start.
