  1. It is. I agree. This is an easy way out of it, actually. Onto the Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield/Jackson/etc era
  2. No. Absolutely not the worst season of the drought. This season just is what it is... making the best of what we have and overachieving in a rebuilding year. We still might make the playoffs, but probably won't. If we manage to get in, McDermott deserves coach of the year consideration.
  3. Peterman has sucked, too. But he's our starter the rest of the year. Please get better and win 3 or 4 more games or Absolutely suck like you have so far and don't win another game. I don't want 1 or 2 wins with Peterman, at which point he's going to screw up our draft pick and demonstrate moments of mediocrity. No more mediocrity in Buffalo. All-in on whoever we draft in round 1 next year!!!
  4. Yes. It is. This is McDermott's opportunity to start Peterman the rest of the season without any repercussion even if he sucks. This was an unfortunate way for Taylor's Buffalo career to end, but next year our starter will almost certainly either be Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield/Jackson/(who else to draft in round 1???) or Peterman with one of those other guys waiting in the wings.
  5. !@#$ him!!! Seriously somehow we ended up penalized more and he wasn't suspended?!?! Just ridiculous
  6. Sure, why not... PS... !@#$ YOU GRONK!!!! !@#$ING DIRTY PLAY!!!!!
  7. This was pretty much the official end of the Tyrod Taylor era in Buffalo. With him ruled out McDermott is now afforded the rest of the season to start Peterman regardless of how he plays. That's good. Win/win. Peterman demonstrates he can be a Franchise QB and we win some games and either make the playoffs or just miss. or Peterman sucks as teams realize we have to start Peterman and have a full week to prepare for him and our draft pick keeps going up enabling us to trade up for Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield/Jackson or whoever the top QB prospect we want is. This'll work. Shame on people who are inevitably insulting Taylor right now and praising his injury.
  8. Welp... goooooo Peterman!!!!
  9. Watching the Bills play the Patriots.... every single time I just want to say "!@#$ YOU BUFFALO!!!" when I watch us play.Oh well. Onto next week.
  10. How about that... D looks good. We're still going to lose, but if Taylor doesn't throw that stupid interception and/or Webb is able to hit a WIDE OPEN Cadet and we're winning. I should be a lot more drunk right now to prepare for the likely thrashing about to ensue in the 2nd half
  11. Hey hey heeeeeeyyyy!!!! I'm out till I have another question... finally on national TV!!!
  12. Thanks, missed the play somehow.
  13. Seriously can someone fill me in on what happened on 1st down?
  14. Did I miss 1st down? Wasn't that holding call on the Shady run on 1st down? If so did they screw us out of a down?
  15. This was incredibly simple, Thurm. Just leave it as the bold. You made a mistake. You were wrong. You were. You don't have to follow it up with a series of non sequiturs just to try to save face with people who haven't been following this conversation. That's okay, though. You've finally admitted you're wrong even if there's a ton of fluff that really has little to do with what we were actually talking about and I was arguing surrounding it. And even if where you admit you were wrong you twisted the truth. 3 weeks old. Not a week or two. That's a start thumbsup:
  16. Who said that? Oh... and pssst... I'm not the only one lumping McDermott potentially (that last word matters... look it up if you don't know it ) in with Dennison in this discussion. https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/199128-dcs-maiorana-dennisons-offense-uninspiring/ Is all this hostility you have stemming from your unfettered public desire to draft Trubisky and how bad he looks?
  17. Absolutely NO ONE is saying ANY of the things you said in those 2 paragraphs. This is just one of the dumbest posts I've ever read... so congratulations!!! You've unseated a post by.... well... probably you. I was fine letting this post die and was going to let the issue rest, but man... I just had to respond to the sheer stupidity of these 2 paragraphs. I couldn't even read beyond them.
  18. If you've suffered through the 17 years of misery… I think it's at least good for ending that flirtIf you've suffered through the 17 years of misery… I think it's at least good for alleviating that They also drafted him at 11. The best QB of the 2004 draft was the third QB drafted and drafted at 11. As always, it's not about why new draft but who are you draft. We have the capital to trade up to 11 or 10 if we see the QB that we want, no matter where in the first round we are sitting
  19. Well... twitter is an interesting place. "You can't compare him to Russell Wilson or even Tyrod Taylor because he's not as explosive or as dynamic." - NFC scout Scouting Baker Mayfield: on.nfl.com/hjh2ie (via @BuckyBrooks) literally never watched him. Whoever we get better be better than what we have.
  20. Watch out now... even implying McDermott could be fired might be construed as a ridiculous premature take
  21. troll troll trollin away. I'm really disappointed... thought you were better than that, but I guess I'm learning that stooping low isn't all that new to you. At this point I don't feel need to explain a point that's pretty easily understood if you understand the English language Carry on with your crusade, though
  22. That's a helluva article! Really shows the changing culture McDermott's bringing in. Love it! Wow. What a troll job. I mean, I guess I'll defend my honor a little since you're so bitterly trolling away here, though... I was one of the first people talking about playoffs and how important I thought the coaching shift from Rex to McDermott was... way back before the season even started. I've been one of the few since the offseason saying that I thought coaching trumped talent and that if McDermott could come in and change the culture (which I said multiple times felt a lot like Bill Bellicheck's approach) that this team could see a much quicker turnaround than people predicted and even make a run at the playoffs this year. I haven't changed that stance, despite your apparent belief that a single criticism of (what might be) McDermott's approach long term means that I think he should be fired now. That's not what I said in that thread you just linked and certainly not what I meant. Troll away, though
