  1. DR=Donald Trump apparently I've never seen such uproar TWICE for a poster getting banned for a month. Clearly all the PPP Trump-Culters should just cast their ballots for @Deranged Rhino on November 3rd, right? Who needs Donald Trump
  2. Just such an incredible pass. Not that the "what if" game matters much, but if he were credited with a TD on that play and weren't given that stupid INT, his Passer Rating would be 127.8... just a note...
  3. https://theathletic.com/2115017/2020/10/04/thats-our-general-josh-allen-shows-another-side-of-himself-in-win-over-vegas?source=user-shared-article ‘That’s our general’: Josh Allen shows another side of himself in win over Vegas For a moment, it looked like the Bills were about to find out just how valuable Josh Allen is. With just under five minutes to play in the first half of the Bills’ 30-23 win over the Raiders, the Bills were facing third-and-10. Allen did what he always does: He tried to make a play. Nobody was open, so Allen scrambled to his left. Inexplicably, Allen managed a backhand flip to Stefon Diggs with Raiders defenders beginning to drive him to the ground. Diggs hauled it in but gained only 8 of the 10 yards needed. Meanwhile, Raiders defensive end Arden Key helped collapse Allen to the field. As the Bills got ready to attempt a field goal, Allen grimaced and grabbed his left arm. Almost immediately, he made his way to the locker room. ... “I had no idea,” Hyde said. “Josh is tough. He was still walking around carrying around like normal Josh.” Allen was in pain. But the injury was to his non-throwing shoulder, so he never missed a play. After the game, Allen downplayed the injury and whatever toughness he showed gutting through it. He said he’d get some treatment and that it wouldn’t be a big deal. His teammates noticed. And they didn’t just notice that he played through the injury but that he did so without much of a complaint. ... He leads the NFL with 21 completions and 585 yards on passes that travel 15 yards or more in the air. During a season when offenses are scoring at a record pace, Allen is second to Dak Prescott with 21 completions of 20 or more yards. The Bills tried to stress Allen during their shortened training camp by throwing a variety of defensive coverages at him. ... For the first time in his career, Allen didn’t gain positive yardage on the ground. He ran only three times and lost 1 yard. One of those runs was a 1-yard rush for a touchdown after he hurt his shoulder. Otherwise, he stayed in the pocket and completed passes to nine receivers. Five had multiple receptions. Allen said before the season he wanted to put more emphasis on distributing the ball to his playmakers. When he ran 14 times for 57 yards and a touchdown in the season opener, that comment seemed like lip service. In the three games since, however, Allen has combined to run the ball 11 times for 26 yards.
  4. Thanks for pointing that one out. I didn't bother looking it up. I threw the question out legitimately. He threw 20 passes in a week 1 game against a team who obviously spent MONTHS obviously game planning for his legs. Like I said, he benefits from a BRILLIANT Coaching staff. After that his lowest rushing total on the year was 40 yards against Buffalo where we blew a play on a Tight End for a long TD but otherwise set the blueprint that other teams would follow to beat him. Last week Allen had 8 yards rushing. This week Allen had -1 yards rushing with kneeldowns and a 1 yd QB rushing TD. Allen won both games and was pretty much MVP of both games... don’t think we ever see that from Jackson.
  5. Shaw I won't read all 23 pages to determine whether you're being chastised or not, but if you'll remember after Allen/Jackson/Mayfield/Darnold's rookie year I watched every single snap of those QBs along with to determine Allen’s "inaccuracy" compared to his peers in their rookie years... this included other rookie years from good QBs like Watson, Wentz, etc. In that analysis I had some commentary about Allen I thought relevant to this thread and your point: "The work so many stress Allen needs to do in the offseason regarding mechanics and just improving as a pocket passer is Jackson ×100. Baltimore does some brilliant stuff on offense in order to get WRs consistently pretty wide open and/or providing Jackson with just a single read passing wise. If anyone reminds me of Tebow this year, it's Jackson, and it's not even close." That was what I thought after watching Jackson his rookie year. Last year with an entire offseason and relatively limited rookie year film, I think the Ravens really had the benefit of brilliant offensive game planning that was all-in on a unique system tailored to a unique athlete. I don't know if the league has caught up with him, yet, but Josh Allen had -1 yards rushing today (obviously due to kneel downs): has Lamar Jackson EVER had a game where he didn't have any--or even MANY, like over 10--rushing yards in a game and been integral to a Win with his arm?
  6. No. Throw Davis in there and our WR corps is special. Honestly I'm pretty amazed how good Diggs is all by himself.
  7. Why does is Wednesday the last possible day for them to open their facility and play on Sunday? Is this a competitive advantage thing? If it is, it doesn't make sense to punish other teams like Buffalo that are doing everything right. The way I see it is that they're all isolating themselves now and aren't at the facility interacting, right? If they have consecutive days this week and it's Tuesday Wednesday or Wednesday Thursday, you play the game and they just get less practice time.
  8. I'm loving the lack of designed runs. Let him win with his arm. We all know how dangerous he is with his legs, I want him to reserve using his legs for plays where protection breaks down AND he can't find an open WR. Frankly though with Diggs and even Davis now in our WR lineup, he seems to have no problem finding open guys.
  9. Scary moment with the injury in the 1st half. We all obviously breathed a sigh of relief when he came back. Raiders D seems dirty so I was worrying about an injury. As for the game Allen was really just taking what was given to him, which worked. He threw some gorgeous passes and made some quick reads on big completions... that TD to Beasley comes to mind. Actually had a few drops today. Our D is really making things difficult... though Norman and Jefferson came up big. Really frigging terrible sack on a game sealing drive that kicked us out of FG range. Good thing we have a fantastic QB who has the ability now combined with level of play to keep this team in games. Go Bills!!!
  10. DR got temporarily banned AGAIN?!?!
  11. Means I didn't need to wake up early
  12. When the heck was this game moved?
  13. Yes I will tell you masks and social distancing. And the entire country isn't open because people can't seem to use common sense and do this. That's not to say it's impossible to get sick if you do those things, but chances are exponentially reduced. That's medical experts talking, not me. Blame China all you want. Trump has mismanaged this Pandemic since it's reached our shores and now it's just caught up with him. I apologize because I like you and enjoy engaging you occasionally, but yes, the fact that you can't hold this man's cavalier attitude and actions in the face of a disease that's gotten to over 7 million and killed more than 210 thousand in our country at this point, then yes, you're clearly part of the Cult-of-Trump.
  14. Is that the protocol Donald Trump followed.
  15. Aren't you Trump-culters annoyed if not pissed at your hero??? This was completely avoidable if he just did everything he's railed against (overt or connotative) for over 6 months now. And now for him to get sick in the last month of the election, exposing how incredibly stupid he's been to the entire nation, essentially sealing his defeat in November... It's a frigging Comedy of Errors. Aren't you pissed???
  16. Soooo.... he's aight????
  17. Everyone on the Titans has already been isolating for days now, right? Does it really matter to us if they get more positive tests? Makes them weaker. If next Monday or Tuesday players & personnel are still testing positive the game MIGHT come into question at that point. But I'd guess based off the incubation period if the team is truly isolating we won't see negative tests by then. And then we catch them at their weakest.
  18. At this point isn't this ideal for Buffalo? The time frame to me seems to ensure they get all the infected Titans isolated and in the meanwhile the Titans can't use this unexpected bye for extra practices. Right? I can't see our game against them being in jeopardy with the 11 or 12 days between the shutting down of the Titans completely and our game against them. Right?
  19. 2020 is so friggin surreal. You can't even write a novel like this because no one would believe it!
  20. Disappointed you brought this up as this thread was supposed to be fun. Though now the thread need not be...
  21. Oy... I may have prematurely posted this... we might not even have to make this choice.
  22. Is anyone really surprised? Wasn't this inevitable? What a moron. This was his own doing.
