Speaking of ELO songs, I heard "Don't Walk Away" on the radio about a month ago. First time I heard that song in decades.

Blue Oyster Cult was the headliner and Lynyrd Skynyrd opened for them in 1977. I would think it should have been the other way around. Great thread!

I've seen the Rolling Stones tribute band, The Blushing Brides, a few times many years ago. As I recall, they were pretty good.

I met Nina several times when I lived in NYC. She used to go to the same deli I went to. MTV viewers never got to see Nina's greatest physical feature because she was sitting on it all the time. I loved standing behind her in line at the deli.

Since I have been living in Florida, I have been to the Mets practice in PS Lucie 4 times and have gotten 21 autographed baseballs. All the Mets players will sign autographs and take pics with fans. Very fan/family friendly. Some players are a lot harder to get an autograph from because of the large number of people trying to get an autograph. If they signed for everyone they would be there for a couple of hours. Syndergaard was the hardest for me to get. The last time I was there, I was talking to this girl who really wanted an Adrian Gonzalez autograph. We decided that I would try to help her get Gonzalez and she would help me get Syndergaard. I got a Gonzalez autograph but she couldn't and she got Syndergaard but I couldn't so we traded baseballs.

Happy Birthday Shady. If you go out to a restaurant to celebrate, make sure you bring a couple of quarters for the tip.
