Greatest scene stealer in a recurring role: comedy series
Bills4everNY replied to Mr. WEO's topic in Off the Wall
He was only in a couple episodes, but as a kid, I loved Hugo (Irwin Keyes) on "The Jeffersons." -
He was also great where he played the "nice guy" as the foster dad in "Free Willy." RIP.

Cheap Trick was really popular when I was in my first year of college- 1978. Lots of people at college were really into them. I think they had a really great shtick. 2 guy that look like rockers. 1 guy who dresses like a geek but runs around stage, jumping off speakers like a maniac. And a drummer who looks like a manager of a Radio Shack but plays the drums fiercely, all the time with a lit cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

I can see Bun E chowing down at McDonald's too. The other people there, unless they know Cheap Trick, would never in a million years think that he is a rock star. We have the same taste in music. The 3 albums you mentioned are in my all- time favorites. Cheap Trick’s "In Color" is an awesome album too, imo. I bought Cheap Trick’s first album but I didn't get into it like the other 2. The only song on it that I really love is "Oh, Candy."

I was in college when "Heaven Tonight" and the Cars 1st album came out and me and my roommates played them almost everyday. We saw Cheap Trick in December 1978 at the Stanley Theater in Utica. It was general admission so we got there 3 hours early to get great seats. When we got there, there was about 7 other people already there. One kid was dressed up just like Rick Nielson... baseball cap, red cardigan sweater buttoned up with a bunch of things pinned to it like buttons and other stuff, just like Rick used to wear back then. He even looked like Rick must have looked when he was 15. The door opened and Robin Zander and Bun E Carlos walked out. Robin went up to the kid dressed like Rick and said: "Hey, Rick, great to see you. You're lookin' great" and he shook his hand. We asked them for an autograph and they were both happy to give them. Bun E said: You guys are standing in this freezing cold to see us. We appreciate that. Then they walked to the McDonald's down the street.

I saw part of an interview of him from prison and he was smoking a big cuban cigar. I didn't know you could get cuban, or any kind of cigars in prison.

"The General" would have made my list if it was top 10. Also love Buster Keaton's "The Cameraman."

I bought the Willie Nile LP "Golden Down" in 1981. A few of the songs on it were getting played on WOUR in Utica. There's not a song on it that I don't like. Willie Nile and Springsteen. -
