  1. Do they have google where you live? What could possibly be an ethical dilemma here? I never said it was "allowed". I took umbrage with tossing additional meaning on top of it. There are plenty of things that aren't allowed according to the CBA. That doesn't make a player "dirty". Honestly it just comes off as childish.
  2. We're rationalizing it, because if we went through the same surgery, there's a non-zero chance we could be prescribed the same thing by our doctors. Using HGH for injury rehabilitation is not even remotely the same thing as taking steroids to hit home runs. Also, all of this is moot because the NFL found no supporting evidence anyway.
  3. Fingers crossed for what? Are they gonna suspend him?
  4. So in your mind, if he was using medicine to recover from injury, that makes him dirty? Give me a break.

  6. Yea, I'm serious. He was arguably the 2nd best QB to ever play the game behind Brady and that was solidified before he ever joined the Broncos. His stats the year before he got hurt are nearly identical to 2/3 of those that came after he went to the Broncos. A team that had a much more loaded roster than most of what he had in Indy. Is it possible that he was taking something for his neck? Sure. I think it's ridiculous to suggest he was "juicing" though. Peyton has had the body of a 50 year old man since he was 20.
  7. They don't have a QB under contract for next season and have a team built to compete. Do with it what you will.
  8. That good scheme doesn't involve their QB play. Jones is in the last year of his deal. If Daboll is smart, he'll draft a 1st rd QB and not marry himself to a scrub like Jones. Brady could be brought in as a win-now guy while the rookie comes up to speed.
  9. Carolina, NY Giants, Colts, Saints, Falcons, maybe more they should really consider opening it up, especially for rehab and injury purposes. The dude had major spine surgery. I'm not sure what you think he got away with.
  10. Yes, but the league is highly competitive right now in favor of the teams who have recently made it. In order for us to make it, they'll likely have to beat out a very good team.
  11. Why should they be? The whole thing is basically just a societal norm/tradition with little modern applicability if you don't believe in it. It's not like there's a tax benefit for them. My GF and I have been together for 12 years.
  12. He's done both. Why are you going out of your way to stan for scumbags over and over? You did the same thing in the Araiza thread too.
  13. Again, not sure why this is relevant to anything. He has a history of violence against strangers, men and women alike. What point are you trying to make by insisting that they weren't romantic/domestic disputes?
  14. I'm not sure the distinction between domestic violence and violence is that significant. At the time he was released from the chiefs, he had 3 incidents of violence in a short span.
  15. Why is that relevant to anything?
  16. I love it. The snow and Christmas lights are an excellent touch.
  17. The Jets are paper tigers. I'd rather face them in the playoffs than NE.
  18. Confidence to arrogance is a fine line. There really isn't very much at all that separates the 4th best team in the league from the 4th worst and among the best, there's even less. Yea, we've run roughshod over a bunch of teams in September and October, great. We've been doing that for 3 years. I'm at the point where even though I enjoy the journey I know none of these games matter. My only hope is that they get out of it healthy. We already know they're going to the playoffs. The whole season is based on what this team does in January and February. The rest is meaningless in the grand scheme. Unfortunately, this team has made several unforced errors when all the chips were down, and 45% of the time, the #1 seed doesn't win the Super Bowl. The saying "any given sunday" is very, very real. Ask the 2011 Giants. I think a healthy amount of skepticism is warranted.
  19. That would be huge. He's exactly what we need, but I don't see the raiders selling. McDaniels has pressure to right that ship.
  20. 3 times - all in one year. You don't remember? Edit: and for the record, I'm not necessarily opposed to bringing him in, (though he's a lot less of a talent than CMC at this point in his career) I just very much understand the issue with it.
  21. It was exactly like that back then. I'd say more so, just because it was the only thing to do besides bowling.
  22. Teddy: Goes to a Wendy's and complains about the detail of the customer service.
  23. Would you let him date your daughter/niece/close friend without bringing up his past? No one's saying that the guy needs to not exist anymore (or at least they shouldn't), but whether or not he should play football for your team and represent your city is a higher bar than the justice system. And I'm a person that thinks we need a lot less prisons and people in them.
  24. Every talking head has had us penciled is as a champion since last January, so I'd say that we're definitely more highly regarded. If other teams don't fear us the way we've been dismantling the league, they're foolish.
