I get the complaints, but in their defense, they have a 4 hour show that runs five days a week plus a postgame. Is there really 20 hours of Bills talk that can and needs to happen on a week to week basis? Keep in mind, both of these guys have spent their entire careers covering a team that never even made the playoffs. Now that we finally made it, the team looks worse than it has at any point since the drought, so it's easy to fall right back into drought-talk. Would it be more interesting if they had dynamic stores like "Embedded" and "Beyond Blue and Gold"? Of course, but that's not what that is. Frankly, I think it's nice to break up the same old discussions with some unrelated talk to keep the Bills stuff fresh, but I can understand if you only listen to it in the car on the way home, and you don't get what you were expecting.

McCarron was the worst QB on the roster.

Alex Smith and Jake Plummer are two that immediately come to mind. Had their teams not ruined them early, they would have had far more successful careers. David Carr was also a ruined QB that didn't make it out the other side. I think he would've been a good one. I don't know how many rookie QBs could survive getting sacked 76 times, but he did. Unfortunately there's no way that doesn't ruin you.

For our friends on a budget, the 12 is a spectacular value.

Unabashed hyperbole start to finish. Six QBs have had 7 interceptions in a game and one had 8. No one can take you seriously if you can't communicate in anything but extremes. Right, so we want HIM to make mistakes, but not any other quarterbacks. Your bias is so strong it's sickening. I've said over and over and over that I'd prefer that Buffalo had a big time talent that made NP completely expendable, but I don't think Allen has a prayer of being a good NFL QB. Ya know, kind of like how everyone else made up their mind about the other guy.

Good managers don't leave their players in to get shellacked the way McD allowed Peterman to sit in there after KB coughed up the ball getting his knee destroyed and Dimarco forgot he had hands. The greatest goalies and pitchers of all time have gotten pulled when it just wasn't their day. Their confidence should be a lot more unshakeable than a 5th round rookie. Allen looked like **** on Sunday, and he looked worse starting against the Bengals. He needed the Browns second unit to put up a decent game. Given how bad this team is, I don't expect him to play any better against the chargers. Of course then we'll just have to blame the team because he throws 60mph fastballs, so why can't they catch? I can't wait for the littany of excuses that are going to be incoming for boy wonder.

Well, one QB gets 5 quarters and the other gets 62-128 before a judgement is allowed to be made. Seems reasonable. Given Allen has no idea how to sense pressure or protect himself from dangerous hits, I think it's unlikely he can hold up through the year, and then maybe we need even more time to figure out where he is on the JaMarcus Russell to Brett Favre scale.

Timestamps matter. I said NP didn't have a good game after the game when everyone was raving about how great Allen's 60 yard, zero TD performance was against Baltimore in the 4 to quarter of a blowout. Double standards galore

It's like you've never seen a sports press conference in your life. Reporter "Coach, how important was it for your team to get in a rhythm and put up some points before the half?" Coach "It was really important. It's always a good thing to go into the half on a positive note, and we have to carry that momentum over into the second half" Every.interview.ever.

Unrelated to what he decides to do, who on the team has the luxury of not respecting him for any reason? The overwhelming majority of the players on this team are lucky to be in the NFL right now, and I can think of at least 10, probably 20 that will probably never play in the NFL again after Buffalo is done with them. There isn't exactly a ton of star power here you have to worry about upsetting.

The public are idiots. Belichick knows this and has given nothing for decades. Most other great coaches are the same. As much as I dislike McD, it's not his job to do the reporters job for them. He's polite to a fault and answers questions. Not getting caught in saying something he shouldn't is a plus in my book. Coaches that don't do that like Rex, Dennis Greene, and Jim Mora get run out of the league, never to be heard from again.

Benjamin hands down. He tricked his QBs into trusting him, so they threw to him and the lazy goon betrayed them.

And where was he when his team needed him late in the 4th? Never spend $23 million on a defender.
