  1. Again, I've been black balled. I wasn't drafted because the NFL has me black listed.
  2. How could I when they won’t give me the opportunity?
  3. I’m being blackballed by the NFL, I’m looking into a lawsuit against them. I should be on a roster and they won’t give me the time of day.
  4. I don't think so because you still have YAC counted on the skill players for that team and you could still tally that as YAC for the QB as well. Not to mention you're still looking at completion %. Look at some of the arguments over the years against Bills QB's and some comments on this board about Allen, people asking when will we see a 300 yard game from Allen. That right there is part of the issue, it's not about yardage. I'm not saying Allen is perfect, I'm simply saying I don't like Mahomes and if you actually watch his games not just the clips of scores, you'll see he just heaves a ball down field knowing someone will make a play. I don't like him as a QB and I'm glad the Bills didn't pick him.
  5. You can have him, I can't stand the love for Mahomes and I'm not impressed with a guy that consistently throws off his back foot and just chucks a ball in the air and has great play makers adjusting to the ball and making circus catches. I'll take the slow and steady growth of a QB that has sustainability in the league.
  6. This is only supporting what I'm saying. I'm fine with QBs hitting the short stuff, but if that's all they are doing then they aren't hitting the intermediate and deeper throws. Actually keeping track of how far they are throwing the ball instead of adding in the YAC would help give a better view of the QBs progress and ability. If you have a guy who throws 30 passes in a game and ends up with 350 yards and say 78% completion percentage and 3TDs - you'd say that's a great QB, then looking into that you see he actually only threw the ball over 5 yards 5 of those 30 throws and hit on say 1 one of them, really how good is that QB? Now if you had the actual numbers and the removed the YAC perhaps that QB only threw for say 110 yards and 0TDs and a 78% - Not that impressive now is it? I know this maybe an extreme case but guys like Smith and Dilfer had great careers and many fans in Buffalo would have been delighted to have a guy like Smith as the Bills QB and yet a guy like Taylor was in Buffalo and would only take the short stuff and we can all agree they needed to upgrade. I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this. Brady has proven he can get the chunks - see the Moss years. I'm not saying a QB that dinks and dunks can't be great, what I'm saying is show us the actual numbers and not a skewed number that includes a players ability to run after the catch. This would also help evaluate the skill players as well, you can see a QB is actually delivering a ball 4 yards to a skill player who has the ability to break tackles and turn that 4 yard catch into a 26 yard gain on a consistent basis. Now the question becomes is who is more valuable?
  7. I disagree, over time if you have a QB that consistently throws a 1 yard pass that a skill player breaks for 10+ and ends up with a high completion percentage that doesn’t really translate to an elite QB (see Alex Smith). I think it would be a better judge of accuracy
  8. Stats in general are horrible. I think a QB should only get credit for yards the ball travels in the air and then the receiver should get YAC credit after that. It really would change how people view QBs.
  9. And who did they play in all those games? 1. Jags (40-26 win) 2. Raider (28-10 win) 3. Ravens (33-28 win) 4. Lions (34-30 win) 5. Colts (13-19 loss) 6. Texans (24-31 loss) Out of those 6 games you’re looking at 3 playoff caliber teams and KC is 1-2 vs those teams. You can also see the quality of defenses they have faced has gotten better as Mahomes numbers have gotten worse.
  10. This is accurate. I watched this game at the sport book in Vegas and Mahomes did not look good at all. He had an early 56 yard play that should have come back as it was a pick play. He consistently throws off his back foot and his skill players make plays on a poorly thrown ball. It’s annoying because Mahomes fan boys will tell you foot work doesn’t matter, but if Allen were to throw off his back foot they’d scream and cry about it. Mahomes is a good QB but that’s where it ends. People need to start watching his games and not the highlights of the great plays his skill players make. He consistently under throws his WR and they make adjustments and make the play. Last year KC was the 2nd best team in their division and this year they are the best of a mediocre division. If the Bills start running the ball more and take that pressure off Allen they will be a dominant team in the AFC. what’s worse is this is a Bills message board and yet there’s so much damn talk about the freaking Chefs, makes me sick.
  11. Yea, throwing off your back foot is silky smooth. Rivers has done more with less than any QB over the past 10 years while Mahomes is chucking off his back foot to some of the best skill players in the NFL all while loosing back to back home games.
  12. Really? mahomes was 19/35 for 273 3 TD and 1 isn’t. keep in mind 50 of those yards came off a pick play that should have been called back and another deep ball to Hill that was horribly under thrown and should have been picked but Hill made an incredible play on the ball. I see no reason to be upset.
  13. I don’t get why this keeps coming up. Mahomes is throwing to the fastest WR in the game and the best TE in the game, both have excellent ball tracking skills. In today’s loss Mahomes under three Hill yet again and Hill makes a great play to catch and score. On top of that KC has lost 2 home games back to back and Mahomes hasn’t looked all that great. The book on how to handle KC is now available, it’s time for Bills fans to put this to bed.
  14. I think it's gonna be the guy that wears the white helmet.
  15. Doesn't sound like the Redskins are looking to trade him anytime soon. https://www.hogshaven.com/2019/10/7/20903262/report-bruce-allen-told-trent-williams-he-will-sit-out-for-the-year-trade-him-january-redskins-nfl
  16. Schedule means nothing, KC each year has an easy schedule yet gets all the accolades of being great. NE hasn’t played anyone other than Buffalo and they won that due to a cheap shot. Look at the stats, the Bills beat the crap out of NE. All things considered, Buffalo has the best D and yes they are better than NE. let’s see what happens when the Bills play Miami.
  17. It's not what the Bills are lack but rather what they have. I wasn't able to watch the full game Sunday but it looked like Lee Smith had a few costly penalties again. Seems like drives are stalling from penalties and mistakes and that needs to be addressed.
  18. Colts, I dislike KC almost as much as Dallas & NE.
  19. No he is not. The Bills lost the game because they had 22 rushing plays and 44 passing plays, while Gore averaged just over 6 yards per carry. First half, had they ran the ball instead of the pass that resulted in a sack and loss of 7 yards, that’s a successful field goal instead of a miss. Kicking the field goal in the 4th instead of going for it on 4th turns the game into a tie and NE offense was held in check, Bills rushing attack could have broken that team. It’s simple, control the clock, play mistake free and the Bills would have won...heck even with the mistakes they could have won with better play calling.
  20. 17 running plays out of 71 plays. let that sink in for a bit. Gore averaged just over 6 yards per carry.
