McDermott is always pretty subtle in his messaging when he's upset. He's never "seething" in public. See also: Tim Graham is a clown always looking for a hot take. Sean wrestled in college, and appears to be in very good shape. He'd have Beane counting the lights in under 5 seconds.

One of the best parts of the early 90's was Kelly vs Marino. It was even more fun because we always beat them in the big games. It could be an amazing next 5-7 years, but Beane (or his successor) needs to stop the decline of the roster and get Josh some more weapons.

One of the most enjoyable things about the early '90's was Kelly vs Marino. The year Miami was up on us and we caught them and beat them to win the division (when Tua looked like a legit threat) was great. Winning it all because the competition is weak is lame.

Currently in the last wild card spot. Odds are at about 90% to make the playoffs. 3 of our 5 games are Cincy, NE and Philadelphia. In order to get the "mini bye" week 18 and be able rest key starters we may need to win them all. May need at least 2 of the 3 just to get in. With the Jeckyl/Hyde nature of this team, and lack of any downfield passing game, anyone feel good about that?

I remember lots of classic Van Miller calls where he nailed the importance and the emotion of the moment. I never remember his voice cracking constantly because he was yelling so loud the mic was distorting. Murph used to do it too. Unlistenable.

We play New England coming off their bye. That's total B.S. Division games should always be on equal rest. They shouldn't play Thursday games until the bye weeks start. Teams play Thursday after their bye. The NFL doesn't care about anything but $$$. Expanding the flex scheduling does not take in to account that the stands are filled with people with jobs and often come in from out of town with very specific travel plans. They DGAF.

The whole "We're wasting Josh" thing is a bit over dramatic. they have won 5 straight divisions and at least 1 playoff game every year since 2020. They've got issues, and I'm all ears for Beane and McD being out of rope soon if they don't get out of this up and down cycle their in right now. But lets not pretend the last 8 years have been a total loss winning on average 12 games for the last 5 years.

Poyer is pretty washed at this point physically, but he's playing with violence in his heart.

Groot hasn't elevated to greatness, but he's pretty far down the list of "bad" signings on this team.

I think they have been far too precious about re-signing "our guys". The only home run they hit was Cook. And that one felt like pulling teeth. Also promoting coordinators from within hasn't exactly been a slam dunk either.
