  1. PINK!? I see a grey sneaker with green(ish) shoelaces. This is the dress all over again.
  2. A full and thorough housecleaning of any people leftover from prior to 2016 is totally necessary if it has not already been done. I think something that touched on this was posted somewhere in this sub-forum, but Sara Carter is always a good read. (edited: ha! I posted it. I knew it sounded familiar. ? Apparently, search here does not pull up words within the tweet) Highly Classified White House ‘Security Clearance’ Leaks Likely Came From Within In a stunning revelation this week, Carl Kline, the former director of the White House’s Personnel Security Office, told the House Oversight and Reform Committee that leaks regarding highly classified security clearances in President Trump’s administration “likely emanated from the Office’s adjudication team,” according to a memo issued by the committee. Kline also stressed during his testimony this week that no one in the White House, or anyone else for that matter, had approached him or pressured him to grant security clearances. </snip>
  3. There are 6,241,916,543 parties in France (not as much of an exaggeration as you might initially think), and they will all get people elected... including the "yellow vests" (you know, a movement with no leader). The article has polling data for the parties, as well as a discussion on voter apathy. I guess we will see how weak, or strong, Macron is in a few weeks. Low-stakes European election in France – but not for Macron and Le Pen Polling data suggests that the May 26 European election in France will see a battle for first place between Macron’s and Le Pen’s parties, low turnout, a disappointing result for a Yellow Vest list, and a drubbing for France’s fractured left. </snip> However, another poll, published on May 2 by OpinionWay, put RN on top with 24 percent of the vote and a three-point lead over LREM. Then called the Front National, Le Pen's party claimed a resounding victory at the last European election in 2014, taking nearly 25 percent of the vote at a time when Macron's party didn't even exist. </snip>
  4. The casual American thinking this is no big deal is frightening, and very real. Heck, the screaming in the MSM and by the Dems (BIRM) that Barr and Trump are politicizing the DOJ against their enemies (that is the Democrats for you, always blaming others for what they are doing) appears to be their last big play to try and stop (slow-down) what is to come. I think they are overplaying their hand, and anyone with a shred of logic can see it isn't so, but never underestimate the stupidity of the American public.
  5. No panic at all. ? 2 Dems push D.C., Virginia bar associations to investigate Barr Two House Democrats on Friday urged the bar associations in Washington and Virginia to launch an ethics investigation into Attorney General William Barr’s public comments on special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, and Rep. Kathleen Rice (D-N.Y.) — both former prosecutors — say they believe Barr “at best misled Congress” and “at worst perjured himself” when he told lawmakers this week he was unsure why some members Mueller’s team were reportedly dissatisfied with his public portrayal of Mueller’s report. </snip>
  6. ...so they went out, literally into the hood... Oh yeah, Joey-B is a woke old white guy.
  7. Follow-up: Huawei says will fight U.S. prosecutors' motion to disqualify its lawyer Huawei Technologies said it will "vigorously oppose" a motion filed by U.S. prosecutors on Thursday to disqualify its lead defense lawyer from a case accusing the Chinese company of bank fraud and sanctions violations. According to a filing in the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn, New York, the U.S. government sought to remove James Cole from the case. Cole was the No.2 official at the Justice Department between 2011 and 2015, a period when the United States was obtaining information on how Huawei might have been doing business in Iran in violation of U.S. sanctions. The filing did not make public why it is seeking to remove Cole from the case. In a letter to the court, prosecutors said they had filed a sealed, classified motion to disqualify Cole and expected to file a public version by May 10. </snip>
  8. Secretary Pompeo Tightens Nuclear Restrictions on Iran The Trump administration continues to hold the Iranian regime accountable for activities that threaten the region’s stability and harm the Iranian people. This includes denying Iran any pathway to a nuclear weapon. As part of the administration’s unprecedented maximum pressure campaign to address the full range of Iran’s destructive activities, Secretary Pompeo has today tightened restrictions on the regime’s nuclear program. Starting May 4, assistance to expand Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant beyond the existing reactor unit could be sanctionable. In addition, activities to transfer enriched uranium out of Iran in exchange for natural uranium could be sanctionable. Iran must stop all proliferation-sensitive activities, including uranium enrichment, and we will not accept actions that support the continuation of such enrichment. We will also no longer permit the storage for Iran of heavy water it has produced in excess of current limits; any such heavy water must no longer be available to Iran in any fashion. </snip>
  9. My husband was flipping through channels a couple of weeks ago and stopped there (of course he did, he's a man, and it said "naked" and had a nude woman on). That was the DUMBEST thing I ever saw. This woman was hiking through rough brush naked (well, she had boots on). All I could think of was "ouch". Flashing the world at the top of a vista is one thing, but walking up the mountain naked to get to the vista? Nuts. She probably took a month to heal the brush burns and scratches.
  10. I think panic has set in. They realize they do not know how to (cannot) stop what is coming and they hope to discredit the messenger? Maybe hide things in the noise? The next few months are going to be ugly.
  11. Ironically, tomorrow is the day I plan on getting the garden started. ☺️ I'll be wearing clothes, however, and my neighbors are grateful.
  12. Why I always find that view shortsighted (and I do not disagree with you at all, I think it is true, merely shortsighted on the national level) - Toronto does not count for metro-area population viewership, yet they do get local stations. It is one of the reasons Buffalo local TV stations are such an advertising value - many times the potential area viewers as the advertiser is actually paying for. If the Toronto area viewership is included (and it isn't, only because it is in Canada - stating the obvious), Buffalo jumps above Miami. "Know your entire viewing audience", would be my advice if anyone bases their opinions on US numbers alone.
  13. Thanks for that. I was reading it on several forums this morning and trying to find the source.
  14. Huh, after saying yesterday he wouldn't call him unless something happened in the House. Lindsay is quite confident about what Mueller will say?
  15. This is the "whenever they need it" clip. Any thoughts on who "they" are?
  16. Honest to Pete, buddy, I am not the person down here who is gonna take the time to do the "can you find" crap. You started posting in PPP 21 minutes after you signed up on TBD. You sound like former banned members. You start nitpicking words... your entire "body of work" under this alias sounds like #OrangeManBad. If you do not mean for it to sound like #OrangeManBad, fix it by posting on sources, not on feeling. And if you do not know what I mean by that, go back and read the 63 posts you currently have - the ones that have to do with the Trump administration, and President Trump.
  17. You do not have to be. It is honestly good for the sub-forum if you are not, provided the lack of support isn't based on #OrangeManBad. IOW, when the lack of support is based on policy instead of, "He drinks diet Coke, not wine!" that is fabulous. Policy differences (no one likes everything) form the basis for some great discussions. "I don't like his accent", does not.
  18. Nope. If you read Row, he's very smart sometimes, very odd sometimes, and very sardonic sometimes. However, it is all under one account alias. You, however, simply sound like er, "others" who were banned.
  19. Is that why you appear to have multiple personalities on occasion?
  20. HE TALKED TO PUTIN!!! IMPEACH!!! :
  21. How many posts do you have accessing all your account aliases?
  22. Oh, you would know! Doesn't a House subpoena have to be signed off by the AG? And if it isn't signed by the AG, it isn't actually a subpoena? (Serious questions)
  23. He didn't have the balls. {I will now go sit quietly in the corner}
  24. For those who do not know, she is the accused "honey pot" to trap General Flynn. Once the Mueller report ended, she became VERY vocal. (thread)
