Huh Fired NY prosecutor was given Biden-Ukraine allegations in 2018 but didn’t follow up, emails show Ukraine prosecutors didn't want the political spectacle that became impeachment and simply sought to turn over evidence about Joe Biden and election interference to U.S. prosecutors, memos show. </snip> The memos show that well before Ukrainian prosecutors reached out to Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s lawyer, in 2019 to talk about the Bidens and alleged 2016 election interference they first approached Berman’s office in New York in October 2018 via another American lawyer. </snip> -

Trump's Tulsa Rally: America Strikes Back

Do your own work. Shesh. Oh, and don't forget everyone's rebuttals to your rebuttal, as well as my rebuttal to your rebuttal. -
The taunting... you’re gonna lose your job... you a man? ... seems a bit scripted ... perhaps to provoke in a tense situation? Seems like a legit protest to me.

CHAZ Seattle Observations

If this were a different time, I’d suppose the negotiations were for promises of leniency at sentencing for the CHAZ occupiers. Methinks that ain’t it. I could be surprised, however. -

Trump signs a proclamation halting H1B work visas and other temporary visas * President Donald Trump signed a proclamation Monday halting a wide swath of immigration visas. * The proclamation significantly limits opportunities for immigrants coming to the United States to secure a green card. * It will temporarily suspend H-1B, H-2B, H-4, J-1, and L-1 visas, affecting everything from the tech industry to students and au pairs. * Those green cards would be on hold until the end of 2020, extending the 60-day freeze put in place back in April. * In a call with reporters, administration officials claimed the move will prevent immigrants from taking 525,000 jobs as unemployment remains above 13% amid the coronavirus pandemic. </snip> "The exceptions — there are none under H-1B or H-4. H-2B, I noted — the H-2B exception is those dealing in closest to agriculture or aquaculture, seafood, but not the kind of restaurant, hotel, club, et cetera, stuff you heard referenced earlier," a senior administration official said in a call. "That's about 10 to 15 percent of all H-2Bs are in either seafood or food processing. This is, you know, packaging up food to be distributed or participating in the distribution. There are no exemptions for any of the L visas." </snip>

Holy *****, that article shows Steele is flat out insane. Christopher Steele's news claims made the pee-pee "dossier" look almost coherent. "A blanket appeared to be thrown over it." When you write fanfiction, there are only so many people who will read, never mind believe, that slop. </snip> Boris Johnson and Theresa May ignored claims the Kremlin had a “likely hold” over Donald Trump and may have covertly funded Brexit, the former spy Christopher Steele alleges in secret evidence given to MPs who drew up the Russia report. </snip> Steele first presented a dossier about Trump to senior UK intelligence figures in late 2016, who he says took it seriously at first. But, he writes, “on reaching top political decision-makers, a blanket appeared to be thrown over it”. </snip>

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Buffalo_Gal replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The "why" should be interesting. Was it because so many banks said you don't have to if you don't want to, and we will not penalize you? Was it because they did not have the money? Jiving the lack of money with people having more money via those $1200 checks, and if on unemployment an extra $600 a week, would call into question why they missed the payments... timing? Renters? I get the under $25K if they were working, but not if they were laidoff as they would be bringing home more money laid off than if they worked (due to the extra $600 a week). </snip> "Missed payment rates are highest for renters (32 percent), households earning less than $25,000 per year (40 percent), adults under the age of 30 (40 percent), and those living in high-density urban areas (35 percent). While the missed payment rate for mortgaged homeowners is just 3 percentage points lower than renters," the survey showed. </snip> And the they made it up: </snip> Despite the trend of missing payments at the beginning of the month, households have been able to play catch-up later in the month and "narrow the gap" by making payments in the middle of the month. This was the case in May, where the missed payment rate "dropped from 31 percent at the beginning of the month to 11 percent at the end." </snip> -
Maybe I worded that poorly. She was born in Taiwan, became an American citizen, was a registered Democrat, and walked away from the Democratic party as she saw too much CCP in the Ds.
-
This woman is a former Dem, born in Taiwan. She is writing about her #walkaway movement (it is in a group, so will not populate) and how the Left and CCP are alike: </snip> As time goes on, I realize there are many similarities between the Left and CCP. 1. They control the media. 2. They incite emotions rather then reasons. 3. They accuse you for the exact same things they are doing 4. They hailed their ideology as a religion that can not be challenged. 5. They tell you the world is your enemy and you need their protection. 6. They persecute people who have different opinions. The only differences between the Left and CCP are 1. The Left is doing all these under the name of compassion and tolerance, while the CCP is calling it patriotism. 2. The Left labels people with different opinions as racists, bigotries and the CCP label them as traitors. So when the riots broke out couple weeks ago, and people are getting fired for speaking their opinions, I realized, this is not about election, this is not about Trump, this is the US version of the Culture Revolution. Mao’s Culture Revolution divides people by right and left. US culture revolution divides people by racists and the victims of racism. </snip>

Misleading heading, but it "appears" that the idea is being kicked around. </snip> “Just going to say something out loud that should be obvious: The fastest way to speed up the process of changing the corrupt, do-nothing, status-quo-protecting culture of the national Democratic Party is for @AOC to defeat @ChuckSchumer in a Democratic primary in 2022,” David Sirota, a senior adviser to Sen. Bernard Sanders’ presidential campaign, recently said in a post on Twitter. </snip> -

Flynn was FRAMED. If you think it is a-ok for the United States government to FRAME a person for crimes they did not commit, you are wrong. -

In one case, a man was framed for a crime he did not commit by the United States government. In the other case, a person who serves at the leisure of the President of the United States was "asked to resign" to "save face" after not doing his job. Those are the same to you? -

Now the Golden Tablet of Pharaoh Ahkmenrah can no longer bring him to life each night. ? We live in crazy-times. Literally crazy. People are insane with their demands, and the businesses and government enabling the two-year-olds ain't helpin' things. Let the kids hold their breath. Blue is a purdy color. -

My immediate reaction to this is "nice conspiracy theory you've got there." And then I realize what is coming down the pike, and it makes it more difficult to dismiss.
