Would You Consider Getting Tre if Cut By the Ravens ?
Doc Brown replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
Besides the questionable pass interference I thought T. White looked pretty good in that divisional round game. I was surprised to see him have that many snaps. My guess is he re-signs with the Ravens on an incentive type deal. He's obviously not close to the pre ACL/Achilles injuries. -
He would've been signed by another team last year if they thought he had any shot at helping their run game. He'll pry be a practice squad guy most of his career just given his physical limitations. If Cook is traded I'm guessing Beane will draft a similar type back in round two. I'd be interested for the college evaluators on here who profiles closest to Cook this draft that might be there end of 2nd/3rd.

Does the order matter?

There's your Cook replacement.

Have you seen the Sabres?

It's actually worked out well for Howie Roseman. Are the Browns hiring teenagers as scouts for minimum wage?

You know who else deserves extensions and hasn't made a peep about it on social media? Benford, Bernard, and Shakir. Acting like a petulant child on social media is a bad look and only hurts your reputation. Let your agent and GM work behind the scenes to get an extension done. Every team has tape on Cook and can assess his true value.
-
Nothing really. Just that him and his agent would be aggressive in getting a contract extension this off-season. I've never seen an agent leak to reporters that their player would play and then they didn't. A chance to showcase himself on MNF for a future contract was the only thing that made sense.

No. He helped us win two playoff games. Based on draft position it has to be Mike Williams. At least Tom Cousineau netted us a first round pick.

I don't either but I can't completely dismiss the possibility.

He also just saw Joe Burrow miss the playoffs, a more talented Ravens team barely get the third seed because of a Steelers collapse, and a QB legend in his own division he grew up idolizing win just five games because he played for a clown of an organization. The point is that he's having the same debate that we are and I have any clue which side he falls on.
-
He was doing snow angels with him. He just won the MVP with him as his head coach with Beane and McDermott making the trip down to New Orleans to be there for it. Like I said, it's a variable nobody's really discussed on here when it comes to firing McDermott because we don't know Josh's opinion of him. From what he's said over the last few years as they keep "punching that lottery ticket" then he'll have a chance at winning the Super Bowl every year.
-
What you said makes perfect sense but the x factor in this is how would Josh react? If he loves Beane and McDermott would he make a power play to Pegula and say fire them and I'll request a trade. I don't know how close Allen is to them so I'm obviously speculating.
-
Great. Explain the trade for Cooper then.
-
Yet they felt the need to give up a 3rd round pick for a rental player hoping to give Allen a #1 outside WR. The "everybody eats" mantra started because Beane is a hell of a salesman.
-
We'll never really know why. The Super Bowl odds still have the Bills at +750 though despite the firing.
-
Go back and find the people begging to trade up for Brian Thomas Jr. once he fell past 16. I kept waiting for a trade to pop up on ESPN's bottom line. Oh well, I guess if Coleman works out it will be a pleasant surprise.

Stafford and Palmer come to mind if we're talking a little more than half way through their career. Stafford was sick of the Lions always rebuilding and Palmer is experiencing exactly what Burrow is fighting right now. It's one of the reasons I'm more hesitant than most on here to fire Beane or McDermott. You could have a GM or head coach that takes the culture they created for granted. It seems like both are in constant dialogue with Allen and why I thought the Bills absolutely had to do the Diggs trade even if it meant eating the cap they had to eat this year without a plan B.

Henry, Jacobs, Barkley, and Taylor are a tier above Cook. Teams aren't going to sell out to try and stop Cook like they do for those backs. Mixon is pry a better comp as he has similar numbers are similar. He's at $8.5m a year. If Beane was to do an extension the maximum I'm hoping he'll spend is $10.5m per year for four years (including next year).
