Just shows me Josh and the offense feels most comfortable with that personnel. They haven't had nearly any success this year with different personnel except in the red zone. They ran 38 out of 40 plays in 11 personnel in the 2nd half against the Fins where they scored 23 points and abandoned the 4 WR set. They scored 31 points against the Titans with over 90% of their plays in 11 personnel. I guess Daboll just thought it would work eventually.

I implore you to go back and watch the tape. Ford seems like he's getting the brunt of the criticism (easy target) when it should go to Dawkins, Boettger, and Williams.

I finally was able to stomach it and re-watched the condensed game just focusing on the o-line. Cody Ford played a LOT better than I thought he played. Probably the best of the five imo. One sack was completely on him but that's about it. Jacksonville ran some stunts that confused Morse for another sack. Ford seemed to get the best push the few times we did run the ball. Dawkins and Williams were god awful. Color me surprised as I was with everyone who got the pitch forks out for Ford.

They need to prioritize getting this guy the ball as often as possible. If Daboll is this great offensive mind he should be able to come up with schemes to do that even if defenses are committing extra resources to try and contain him.

Yeah. He had two crap games against the Chiefs and Titans after starting out red hot if I remember correctly. The first Pats game wasn't his best performance either and was bailed out by Justin Zimmer. That and without the pass interference on 4th down against the Rams we could've easily been 4-4 at this same point last year.

The bigger issue is every year they add more opportunities to call penalties by adding new rules (taunting, low blocks this year). It's making the game unwatchable.
