I was 100% convinced we were going to get favorable calls in the Philly game. Boy was I wrong. 10-1 penalties half way through the 2nd quarter. Thought because of playoff narratives, the league could easily have the Eagles absorb a loss to keep Buffalo in the playoff race. I guess a Taylor Swift / Kelce Bros. Super Bowl makes more sense revenue wise.

Cook doesn't have the cut back moves like Shady. Nor imho does he seem to have the drive or focus. It's not that he doesn't have speed or talent. He just lacks that "it factor".

There's nothing about McDermott I trust anymore. His ridiculous slogans have dried up. His teams are penalty machines because of 2 things. The first and foremost is poor coaching/discipline. The 2nd is clearly the league screws us just like the Raiders. One can get fixed/ improved. The other is controlled by the shield.

I'll take that average all year. This season was probably lost because Dorsey & the offense way underperformed against the Jets & Patriots. We'd be 8-4 and in a good position to easily make the playoffs. Throw in McDermott's garbage defense late in games and 8 wins could be 10. This whole media frenzy about Josh and the TO's is so overblown is comical. Their collective laziness ignores that Tua & Hurts are at 10 and Mahomes at 9. Of course qbs that run and throw more are going to have a higher TO ratio. But basically now the media credit Josh with 3 INT's before the game even starts.

Chan Gailey wouldn't have allocated 65% of his draft resources to defense. And this ridiculous argument that losing 3 top defensive players affected Sean's late game playcalling mistakes is hilarious.

Belichick didn't tolerate mistakes. He just put the fear of God in you or cut you. Mistakes are made because of an extreme lack of focus. And the #1 job of a head coach is to keep your team focused. The players are a product of their coaching leadership or lack therof.

That extension was pure stupidity. If Terry thinks Sean is some kind of Tomlin coach, then he's losing it. I guess as the owner he values regular season continuity over any semblance of going deep in the playoffs. McDermott is a very predictable coach. He will continue to make the same mistakes over & over.

Yeah, I don't buy it. Personally I think the locker room has already been lost. Brady helped the offense but this team is still in cap hell. I've said 1000x McDermott is not the type of HC capable of winning a SB. Let alone getting to one. If Terry wants continuity whatever? Good luck selling PSL's.

We all know Josh didn't receive high level coaching in high school or college like some of these more polished qbs. Daboll was probably the first good coach he had.

I'm signing Leonard to a 2 yr deal. He's clearly the more consistent player. I don't see AJ getting another sack this year, putting him at 6.5, same as last year. I'm letting Epenesa walk and draft a new DE. Aj needed to show me more his first 2 years in the league and he didn't. His slight level of improvement is not near enough to justify a big contract.

We're only winning 2 more games. NE & the Chargers. We're finishing 8-9 which might get us Odunze? Realistically the season was lost somewhere between Dorsey starting his 2nd season and Milano going down. Everything bad we saw from McDermott had already been exposed a long time ago.

We'll know after the KC game where we stand. I think these guys would play hard for Brady, but what do you do with McDermott? Kidnap him or lock him in the basement.

Brady & Schwartz would be a sweet combo. I agree. McDermott is incapable of winning close games against good opponents. He requires that differential because he knows his 4th quarter defense is ass.

I have a brand new appreciation for people who hate all that is Philly. They're right up there with chowds.

I'm telling you he calls timeouts not to make some amazing strategic move, but to simply give him the extra time to think about what his next move will be?
