  1. Maybe it's the quarantine talking, but the following all look like good games to me: Chiefs - Ravens Falcons - Packers Cardinals - Cowboys Rams - Bucs Seahwaks - Eagles Bills - 49ers Ravens - Browns
  2. I think the networks felt a bit burned by Cleveland after loading up their schedules with Browns games last year. Baker's regression played into the lack of prime time games, too, I bet.
  3. Looking at how many prime time games other teams got. Tampa Bay, New England, KC, SF: Five Baltimore, Pittsburgh: Four New Jersey Jets, Cleveland: Two Houston Texans: ONE! A Thursday nighter, to boot. Looks like the networks were big DeAndre Hopkins fans! ?
  4. Very balanced schedule. Only one back-to-back road game set the whole year. Opening AND closing at home. Four prime time games (first time in 24 years), with a possibility of a national showcase Saturday late game, to boot. Bye week comes in week 11, right before our stretch of prime time games. I'm calling it now: 5-0 Bills vs 5-0 Chiefs on Thursday night. Most exciting December schedule for the Bills in ages (weeks 13-16: MNF, SNF, [possible late Saturday game], MNF) Perfect schedule.
  5. Thanks. 26 years since Bills have been scheduled outright in a national prime time showcase game on network TV. Amazing.
  6. I don't think the NFL flexes Monday Night Football games, only Sunday night.
  7. True. And we also need to root for the Steelers to do THEIR part.
  8. Every team in the league gets a Thursday night game, so that doesn't really count for much in my eyes. But two Monday nights and a Sunday night? That's some legit respect from the networks. Does anyone know the last time the Bills were SCHEDULED for a Sunday Night Football game outright, not flexed into one? Has it EVER happened as part of the NBC Sunday Night Football package? I don't believe it has.
  9. "I mentioned the bisque"
  10. Great point. Ask yourself “if they played on a neutral field, which teams would the Bills definitely lose to?” For me, it’s about a one or two team list. That’s a big change from the past two decades.
  11. Wait...so the Bills-49ers week 3 SNF tickets I bought on Craigslist just now are fake?! ?
  12. I can’t argue with their rankings one bit. The Pats secondary IS really good, has great depth, and just added Kyle Dugger. Glad the writer smartly ranked Bills over Dolphins.
  13. McDermott. No access to his usual MMA gym and no sparring partners to put into wrestling holds. Gonna take a lot of golf clap reps to get him into shape.
  14. He'll be really good for them....for about four games.
  15. If people want NFL games with fans in the stands, they’re gonna need to be a little flexible. If they feel that disallowing alcohol will reduce concourse foot traffic and irresponsible behavior, then so be it. For me, if it’s between no fans at games or fans but no alcohol, the choice is easy. Wanting NOTHING to change about the game day experience is unrealistic. Also, I love a good beer as much as the next guy, but if people honestly can’t enjoy a day of football without drinking alcohol — If it’s really THAT critical to their enjoyment of the game and they can’t go three hours without it — perhaps they have a problem. Besides: the rule would only be no alcohol sold in the stadium. Just drink BEFORE entering, if it’s that important to you.
  16. He didn’t say that. He said the NFL would encourage people over 70 not to come. Why is that hard to believe? It seems perfectly reasonable to me.
  17. In 32 seasons as a head coach, Don Shula had only two losing seasons. That is beyond incredible. There is a legitimate case to be made that he is the greatest head coach of all time.
  18. This fear is legitimate, and the Bortles/Trubisky path is a real possibility. Anyone who doesn’t admit that this is at least POSSIBLE is, in my estimation, not being honest with themselves.
  19. Agreed. Alas, that's the rule. Yep. If Davis can be a quality special teams contributor, that all but seals Foster's fate, in my opinion.
  20. This. Unless Foster has made great strides since last year, he's gone. Davis makes his skillset redundant, and if they're even, you go with the rookie you spent a 4th on. Hodgins makes Duke's skillset redundant, and again, if they're about even, the edge goes to the rookie. McKenzie, I thought, would be safe, due to his utility as a gadget guy. However, it has recently been pointed out to me that Stefon Diggs is actually quite effective on jet sweeps throughout his career. And "he can run jet sweeps!" isn't enough of a reason to keep a guy on the roster, anyway. Diggs, Brown, Beasley, Davis, Hodgins, Roberts. If they only keep five on the active roster, Hodgins likely winds up on the practice squad.
  21. “ 'I’m bored’ is a useless thing to say. I mean, you live in a great, big, vast world that you’ve seen none percent of. Even the inside of your own mind is endless; it goes on forever, inwardly, do you understand? The fact that you’re alive is amazing, so you don’t get to say ‘I’m bored.” - Louis CK (who, yes, I'm aware is cancelled now).
  22. There isn't a 55. It's still a 53. The new rules state that you can bring two people up from your practice squad on a game week, but at the conclusion of that game, they must be released (and thus, subject to waivers), and then can be placed back on the practice squad. If you choose to keep the two new players on your active roster, you must release two other players. At the conclusion of each game week, there must still be 53 players on the roster.
  23. I, like many others, thought he'd be a Patriot for sure. Unless they suddenly sign Cam Newton, it looks like the Patriots really ARE rolling with Stidham.
  24. Only listening to Fox News qualifies you to be an expert on COVID, everybody knows that.
