It was all lined up for a SB victory, then poof, gone
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Like for so many years it was either only Brady, Manning or Rothlesberger from the AFC… I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s going to be Mahomes, Allen, Burrows, Herbert…every year just on a round Robin. I would disagree on Rodgers…even if he has 3-4 seasons left…if he goes to the right team in AFC (maybe Broncos) … I would say that would be a major road block for the younger guys. -
Honestly what do you do moving forward?
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s start at the top. Working on the fundamentals. Player execution. Playing for each other, the guy next to you. Having that desire to win. Knowing the bad taste of defeat and not wanting that taste again. -

Bengals/Rams games would probably have looked a lot like the Bills/Chiefs game. Defense would have no answers for either opposing offense…Allen would have to put up 350-450 total yards and 3-4 TDs And then maybe you win it in the final seconds or maybe you lose it. -

Based on the layout of the Division … with all 3 of the others teams in a somewhat different stages of rebuilding/re-tooling/youth movement…Buffalo should at least be the favorite for the Division the next 2 seasons… But, yes…when it comes to the Conference…that window is narrowing every second due to the overall talent of the other AFC QBs. Mahomes is still lurking. Burrow has arrived. Herbert is nearly there. Lamar (and the Ravens when healthy) is a danger. Thats not to mention that DeShaun Watson may well end up on an AFC Team AND Aaron Rodgers could be QB of pick (Broncos, Steelers, Dolphins, Browns). -
Theory on what we're lacking on Dee

Think the 2022 Schedule will provide actual legit competition to battle harden the team and prepare them for the 2022/2023 playoffs. -
How many chances does McDermott have left?
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Igotbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because Buffalo is a Small Market and seemingly liked by many of the National Media/Twitter world… …Tonight’s game will not go as badly for them as it might have if a team from (see below) lost after having a lead with 00:13 left: New York New York New England Chicago Dallas Los Angeles Cleveland In this instance being a likeable small market will help shield the team from the outcome this past weekend. -
Bills cut squats from their workouts during the season
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to JPL7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Who likes squats?! Ugh they suck. Every time I get my leg routine … press, extension, curl, deadlift, and calf’s … sure KEEP THEM. but squats I just Axe. maybe do a few Hack Squats…but no more. good on them 😊. -
Wouldn’t it be awesome if Belichick retired?
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
He definitely is like that with reporter pools. But if you see him in other venues away from being asked about Patriots football it really is night and day. At least on the NFL Specials or Interviews when he pops up. Media I feel are the the ultimate romanticizers/mythologizers if a A player scores a touchdown or makes a good play, according to the MEDIA, it’s not just a touchdown or a good play it has to mean something more. it means that he’s become more of a man or he’s dug deeper or he’s fighting for the Honor of his team and his town. but Bellichick is the ultimate realist IMO. A good play to him is, “yeah…he executed well.” That’s it. Because there is always the next play and what you did before doesn’t mean it will happen again no matter how rosy you paint it. -

Hope he does not stick around too much longer. It would be nice if he still had some juice left to be around the league or media in some capacity. Not sure there is a head coach who has a love for the history of football or the sport itself more than Bellichick. Has to be some sort of way he can pass all that knowledge on or in some way. Primetime/Game Day Specials or what not. -
I think being the 1st overall pick and going to a team THAT BAD … as Arizona was to get the 1st overall pick. and then go 5-10-1 8-8 11-6 (Playoffs) that looks like improvement each season. And he’s only 24 years old. I think those fans…cooler heads in the executive office will prevail. Murray will get healthy (since that injury in Green Bay put him out) and should be good for the foreseeable future. if he can stay healthy.
-
Absolutely. But Everyone moves at their own pace. Some really good QBs did not fair well in their first ever playoff games…others do and some are 50/50. But I think with his talent and Kingburry Offense. Going forward Murray is usually going to be a threat for 4500-5000 yards passing 40 total TDs and in MVP talk. as long as he stays healthy too.

I think after this weekend…Injuries, the 4th Down Calls and going for 2 points to win it…(which I do endorse) Cost the AFC… Justin Herbert/Chargers and Jackson/Ravens in the playoffs. And in their place was Raiders and Steelers. Having QBs with a dynamic quality like Herbert and Jackson, just make each game a great possibility for something special to happen. To lose those players, it makes the playoffs from a “entertainment product” perspective…not as strong as it could of been.

I don’t think anything I said was off base. the question of this post was was Allen throwing the ball away or not. my “evidence” to that he was more or less throwing it away…was he seemed relatively unaware the touchdown happened. And usually when Allen Scores…he is dancing, shaking or posing. That’s not a call out. It is literally what he does.
-
I think something about me talking about the Buffalo Bills triggers you.
-
I think his body language post TD told the tale. USUALLY…after a Allen Touchdown…Allen does what I guess you could describe as some body gyrations…muscle flexing or attempts at dancing. after this one…he just stood there. Which leaves me to believe at 98% he was throwing ball away and mildly shocked it was hauled in by Knox.
