I listened to Adams’ press conference yesterday and I got the sense he put most of the blame on his players. These guys don’t play hard for 3 shifts let alone 3 periods.

I didn’t think of Terry Hills, I agree it’s another great value. Going further out that way, I was in an after work league at Dande Farms a few years back and I grew to enjoy that course. Try to get there at least one Saturday morning in the summer.

I definitely agree it feels much more hopeless. I could always trick myself into getting invested in Bills teams I knew weren’t very good. This team just plays in a way that elicits absolutely no emotion for me. The series of bad hires and terrible draft picks is well known at this point, but I definitely put a lot of the blame on this group of players, especially the ones who’ve been around. I understand Risto has played some of his best hockey this year, Reinhart is actually a pretty solid player, and Eichel is a proven elite point producer, but I honestly believe all three should be gone by next season. Think a radical shakeup needs to take place, this team has been lifeless too long

I personally don’t think you can match Glen Oak as far as bang for your buck goes with public courses. I play there a couple times per week during the season. I also love Hickory Stick.

Goal this offseason should be to get as much of the roster turned over as possible. “Core” is awful and just doesn’t work together. Bad attitudes and a void of leadership has plagued them for years.

I do feel like I did towards the end of the Bills drought...bitter and cynical towards players and coaches. But that is also a reminder of how quickly things can change. I don’t have answers though, they seem miles away.

Couldn’t even buy a shot in the third. How far I had to scroll down for this thread says plenty about the mood surrounding the team.

Something just continues to be off with this team year after year. Simply ramp up the intensity and the Sabres aren’t going to match the effort most nights. Yes goaltending is a huge weakness, but overall they are a soft team.

I’ve always hated it to be honest, but seems here to stay so just have to let it go.

That’s more like it! Plenty of talent on the team, I just hope they can continue to build some chemistry. Just not a lot of room for growing pains with the shortened season. Glad they got a couple critical points, would be tough sledding stacking too many loses.

I wish Mahomes a speedy recovery. I really think this team can beat the Chiefs at full strength. After playing a couple very good defensive football teams, I can see our offense really taking off Sunday.

I had my sewer collapse a couple months after buying our house a few years ago. Roots crushed the clay had to dig and replace. If you are ever worried, it’s not a huge expense to camera it, might give you some insight into whether you need preventative clean outs or jetting.

Don’t want to overreact to one bad game, but they didn’t look good. Washington also looked sloppy and still probably should have had a couple more goals. Don’t really understand the strategy with Skinner or Tage. Hutton let in one softie, but for the most part he wasn’t getting much help in front of him. Congratulations to Joe Biden. Maybe being nice to people will start trending again. Watching Corey Lewandowski rant and rave yesterday was probably the greatest television I’ve seen all year.

I’m thrilled it’s scheduled. I understand it hurts us against KC, but every team is going to have to deal to some extent with some of these challenges. I’m holding out hope all the games are played however it needs to happen.

Really tough start, they canceled their home opener today.

Options stink, but I figured they’d do something like this. The thought of them holding my money interest free for a year is very annoying to me if we wind up getting zero or limited games. At least offer an opt in option with a refund in the event NO fans are allowed in all season. I’ll have to kick it around for a few days, but in general no thanks to the NFL franchise holding my money.

Cool I’ll sign a waiver, but the person I pass it to the next day didn’t sign anything. People can yell at the sky all they want, adjust to the reality we are living in. I hope the NFL stops the charade and announce a league wide fanless season and maybe have a chance for us to at least watch some football. They could get out in front of it, pump in crowd noise like they are doing in Europe, make some sort of interactive fan platform (be creative), and overall stop being a joke. But it’s the NFL so they’ll surely bungle it.

Exactly. For example I have two seats, the four to my left are STH, six in front of us are STH, and four behind us is a STH who sells every game on secondary market. Most of us will have to move around, I just hope they release details of how that would likely be handled before I have to make a decision one way or the other. And by no fault of the NFL, they are unlikely to have that information anytime soon.

This is what I’m interested to see. How much information are we going to get before opting in or out? I can’t imagine they will have a whole lot of clarity with seating capacities. I’ll be interested in what we actually agree to by opting in. If I’m getting moved to worse seats how is that being handled? How are they chopping games between season ticket holders? Seems like a nightmare to administer.
