  1. 11-5 seems high with our scheduled opponents this season. I’m still expecting a range of 8-8 to 11-5 , with the actual record at 10-6.
  2. Bruce Smith. The most talented athlete I’ve seen take the field in a Bills uniform , at least in person. I never attended a game that OJ played in, so number 78 it is.
  3. I agree on being courteous to a point , but forced compliance is another thing altogether. At least it is to me. Anyway, I don’t think masks are appropriate for say a restaurant. You’re there to eat, drink and socialize. Those with conditions that leave them vulnerable can wear a mask, limit their exposure to others and make other lifestyle modifications. That includes not going to these types of establishments. Others may be more willing to part ways with freedoms but I am not. I understand if others don’t agree, though. I think it does provide some protection, but it probably would be best to move away from that person or at least stay 6 feet or more apart. It’s not foolproof to be sure.
  4. A friend of mine has recently recovered from cancer, and her doctors instructed her to wear an N 95 mask, fwiw. I believe it is to help her, not to protect others from her fwiw. An 95 will give a person some measure of protection from those around them.
  5. Exactly. Cuomo himself called the Federal response to NYS incredible, and I don’t think he was being sarcastic.
  6. Interesting . And I agree on your outlook. Imo some distancing will be fine for awhile , but masks should go away. I’m surprised there hasn’t been more outcry about this, but maybe NYers are okay with being controlled by a tyrannical Governor ? Ohio and DeWine had a sensible approach and didn’t mandate masks , left it up to retailers etc and noted that some found mandating a mask offensive. De wine said requiring it would be an overreach and I agree with him.
  7. I’ll give Cuomo some credit there; a rarity to be sure but I agree with him. McConnel was firing a shot across the bow , letting it be known that the Feds were going to turn off the spigot at some point. Cuomo fires back. This is typical negotiating through the media, and something will get worked out.
  8. He’s working to create a nanny state, and an Anti American one at that. He tramples freedoms and spits on the Constitution as he goes. He was woefully unprepared , has driven the NYs budget into the ground with entitlements and has overseen the worst Covid 19 outcome anywhere. He whines about his ineptitudes and shifts the blame to Trump, so he is celebrated by the lefties. Great Job! Outperforming Trump? That’s a complete joke. Edit : also Trump never said anything about “ injecting disinfectant”.
  9. Disinfectant “ travesty” ? Lol.... so much LSM drivel in here I don’t even know where to start. Pointless to even try, so congratulations on your allegiance to the Democratic Party.
  10. The only thing Cuomo is killing is NY State
  11. Dangerous “ misinformation “ to the lefties. Lol
  12. They are wackos who have twisted and perverted a message to fit their own mindless notions.
  13. Lame. He was referring to people who were there simply to protest the removal of some statues . Not everyone there was in that wacko group you’re referring to.
  14. Wow, people seem terrified to go out and about. The economy isn’t going to rebound when we open anyway ,so we may as well stay locked down for a few years.
  15. I expect toilet paper to be flying off the shelves tomorrow morning.
  16. Who should be on it then ; a park ranger in the Catskills ? She’s a powerful business woman, and we need to reopen businesses. The great thing is, none of those thousands of people in the small spaces is forced to be there. They’re paying for the privilege.
  17. True. Still trying to figure out the nonsensical hoarding of toilet paper, though. Ongoing, but to a lesser degree.
  18. Um no, an artificial closing of America / world has led to that. Where’s the ready to go replacement ? Oh, that’s right we don’t have one yet. Come back in about 50 plus years ...
  19. Maybe , in another 5 to 10 decades. I mean, I’m sure most people would buy a vehicle that ran on hydrogen if it were available at a comparable price , had great performance like a gasoline powered car, and fueling stations were widely available, right ? Free market competition says it would exist already if there was a way. Nobody has managed to do this yet, same with heating homes etc. There’s money to be made with such innovations, but no one has managed yet. We don’t have anything better, at least not yet. There’s a new project for you while self isolating; you could make millions .
  20. Is there even such a rapid test available ? In the amount needed , which would be massive ? Imagine going to say, five places in a given day and being tested each time. I just don’t see this as a realistic thing.
  21. Well, they are pretty important, no ?
  22. Lol, although I must say for me personally Obama allowing travelers to bring back Cuban cigars and rum with them for personal use is a great thing. The absolute best thing he did in 2 terms as President !
  23. Yes, we need to control new cases to some degree, and make sure we have hospital capacity ( not extreme excess) to deal with an inevitable increase in cases in a manageable way. Another shutdown is not an option, period. Any acute problems should be addressed but a nationwide closedown of the economy can never happen again. The country won’t survive.
  24. And then ....what ? Any individuals status is fluid and could change day by day.
  25. So you think the first real case in the USA was January 20th ? Look at the number of cases and degree of infection on both coasts and in the southeast. I’d be inclined to think the virus actually was here before that, but that’s beside the point. The USA is not South Korea. While the testing / tracing did not begin early enough here, why did the Governor of whichever State that was in not take drastic action ? Our country is set up quite differently from South Korea. The issue of rejecting the test kits is certainly valid, and should be questioned.
