  1. Selective outrage. It’s a fine line. Military stresses discipline and following commands. Those are good things in many cases. Wimps don’t make good cops. Assault could be just an appearance ticket in some states.
  2. Also have to determine if actions were criminal and at what level. This is very important.
  3. Yep, that’s where it goes south. They’re systemically anti criminal, because that’s what they’re supposed to do. Again, there is zero that was or is systemic about the actions of Chauvin. No one is trained to do that. The problem is the drivel from the NY Times, CNN etc.
  4. It’s a fine goal , however almost everything is caught on some type of camera these days. Training is always essential and is stressed now more than ever. Those things will not get rid of all bad apples, though. It’s not a perfect world. The Cop in the Floyd case went against any procedure manual out there.
  5. I’m not surprised. He’s the biggest racist on TV in my opinion.
  6. Yep. There’s a reason why this isn’t the way things are done. It’s an awful idea. Unless you like having a lot of Police funerals per annum. A split second of hesitation could mean death for a law enforcement officer. Also, as to Motorin’ post - it’s not exactly true that all the officer has to do is say they believed a threat existed. It has to be a threat that a reasonable person would perceive. Definitely not a blanket excuse. Not relevant in the Floyd case, but certainly is in many others. Lawless criminals don’t care if they discharge their weapon at a cop. Lots of ‘em out there. Converted and brought to you by CNN
  7. Now if only they’d cue up one of those heartwarming “ We’re in this together” commercials....
  8. They’re somewhere around the level of Cro Magnon.
  9. Another schi**hole
  10. Yes. There can never be another unjustified death in police custody unless the deceased is non minority. There can also never be another death attributed to Covid 19. Run of the mill murders, gangland killings etc are okay.
  11. Ah, yes. That should be a libs dream team of diversity right there. You know, the panacea for the ills of the world.
  12. Lol , about as often as they will Covid -shame these protesters, looters and rioters.
  13. Total scumbag loser, that Blas. Truly has no clue.
  14. Actually, yes. I was expecting something like this ( perhaps less violent) over the lockdowns as they dragged on and restrictions became more arbitrary, more draconian and people’s rights were being tossed aside. Not for this. America has gotten a whole lot dumber in the past few years, and this just brings that into laser-like focus.
  15. Oh, this will be pandered to and even excused by him and his cohorts. Now, if there were people protesting not being allowed to earn a living or go outside without a mask then anger would be forthcoming.
  16. Minneapolis should be left to rot. No federal money for this. They deserve what they’ve created.
  17. Yep. I’m going to guess that robberies have now gone up in many cities since mask wearing decrees were given.
  18. Agreed. It does , and I think he should use it. The choice couldn’t be more clear : Law and order vs the looters and antifa thugs.
  19. Not off topic, as I’d bet the same protesters would be sympathetic with the jailed, “ social justice” etc etc. Anyway, you didn’t answer my question and I’m not surprised
  20. I don’t think it’s going to be all that fascinating, complex or intriguing. Perhaps I’m missing something, but jmo
  21. How is the bad cop different from any other jailed criminal ? You know, the felons that libs are so sympathetic with? That they want to restore voting rights to etc etc. They’re fine with uniting for bad whatever , so why is the bad cop not now one of them ?
  22. Yet it is just a very, very few bad cops (whose actions are denounced by all) that liberals and complicit media seize upon and paint all cops and all white folks as racists. These are actually very isolated incidents blown far out of proportion by media and protesters alike. But yes, it is just so easy to generalize against all law enforcement when the overwhelming percentage of them do a great job to keep us safe from the criminal element every day. How many of these “ protesters” sat idly by while the lives of millions were being upended by draconian lockdowns over a virus ? Probably very happy to collect their government handouts, but outraged over the action of a bad cop who was fired and already jailed for what he did. Are they now sympathetic with him because he wears a prisoner’s clothes and not a police uniform ? Is he now one of the “ good guys” ?
  23. She oozes scum. Remember her proclamation to those who dare stand too close to each other ? They will be jailed! Meanwhile, actual criminals locked up in her city’s jail were set free. Now she’s supporting rioters and looters while spewing racist garbage.
  24. Right? Also, Trump promptly denounced the actions of that cop. Has zero to do with the occupant of the White House
  25. The man deserves kudos.
