  1. Sir, I have been a fan since opening day when my 4 year old butt was sitting at the first game at the Rockpile. I stayed optimistic when we had Dan Darraugh or Kay Stephenson were QBs. So with all due respect, I have always taken the positive view. So it pains me to say I don’t see another victory. The best chances are the Broncos, Jets, and Pats. We’ve already lost to the last so, and the Broncos D has woken up. It is clear the Bills offense is dysfunctional. Add to that the D missing so many key guys and we’ve got trouble. I’ll be delighted to come on here and say I was an idiot if they win . Nothing would make me happier.
  2. I think my concern there was whether they would wake up and play with urgency. I suppose having less time would have forced them into it.
  3. I don’t think it matters at this point
  4. I’m going to be brutally honest, and find it hard to say this as a 63 year fan of the team and normally one who leans towards the glass being half full: i don’t think they’ll win another game even with Josh. I think the offense is completely non-functional at this point, a combination of Dorsey not being up to the job, Josh not being Josh either due to injury or other factors, and a complete inability or unwillingness to run the ball. And on defense the number of critical injuries has just been too much, and if Bernard is out for a time then we simply can’t hold up against some of the teams we’ve yet to play. i hope I’m as wrong as I can be, but this team may have to hit rock bottom before riding from the ashes.
  5. And could have had even more time. Which as it turns out they might have needed due to the idiotic loss of a time out because of that challenge. Whoever recommended that challenge should have been fired today.
  6. I do not question his commitment nor his physical talent. I do think a legitimate concern is that he does not do pre-snap reads well, and that he does not check to the easier play when it would be wise. Take two examples last night. Frst the interception. He was baited into the exact same thing against the Pats. Second was a 3rd and 2 play where he stayed in the picket too long looking for something downfield. All he needs to do there is take the short option available and move the chains. Especially against a guy like Burrow keep the chains moving and don’t let him have the ball. And I’ll give you one more. The last TD drive. There was no urgency to the offense, no getting to the line quickly, no quick snap counts. That may be more on Dorsey but a QB in the league 6 years should know to challenge his OC if that’s the case.
  7. Bring Knox back. Assuming Tre can’t go work out an injury release from his contract. May have to eat Miller’s.
  8. Good perspective. This isn’t our year. Need to retool in areas especially on D, probably new OC, Josh needs to get his brain to consistently match his amazing physical gifts. But we’ll get there.
  9. I tend to be the optimist I all things Bills but there is no path to 10 wins. The offense cannot score enough to help out the defense.
  10. To say the defense did not hang in there without Jones, Milaon, White, and then losing Bernard and Hyde and still only give up 10 points after the first quarter is laughable.
  11. Put physical talent aside. You have to have the physical talent to make all the throws and such. That's a given. What makes the greats great are their ability to master the mental aspects of the position, to be able to read defenses, know where to go with the ball, know when to bail or to change a play, change protection. When you have that then you can make the 4th quarter drives to win, you can elevate guys around you.
  12. No. Daboll is the guy who tops out as a good coordinator but not a HC.
  13. 1. The NFL should just make a rule that you can't touch the QB. To call that roughing is an insult to football. 2. Josh is a great QB from a physical standpoint. He is not great from an intelligence standpoint. They bait him into that throw he had for a pick, and he does not learn from it. HE does not realize on 3rd and short the play is to get the ball out quick and get the first down. He does not read pre-snap clues as well as he could. It is a credit to his physical talents he is as great as he is, but if he wants to elevate to the greats of history in the NFL his mental game has to progress more. 3. Dorsey needs to be let go. He is not imaginative enough nor does he adapt well to what is going on during the game. 4. The defense hung in as well as could be expected given the injuries. 5. We don't make the playoffs this year in all likelihood, so time to rip off the bandage. Guys that need to be let go include Morse, Brown, Davis, and trade Diggs for picks. Get a new #1 WR in FA or draft. Build around Allen and Kincaid on offense. On defense say good-bye to Miller, Epenesa, Floyd, Poyer, White, maybe Hyde,. Build around Oliver and Bernard. Draft linemen on both sides of the ball and build from inside out.
  14. Whoever recommended the challenge needs to be fired tomorrow
  15. Whoever recommended that challenge should be fired.
  16. Josh needs an OC that’s not afraid to get in his face and demand more.
  17. Wish I could agree. Our D is playing the best it can with so many guys out. But we have no consistency on offense.
  18. Jackson is playing well. Miller’s career is done I’m afraid.
  19. 3rd and 2. Get the ball out quick.
  20. Love Josh. We all love him. But thus far tonight it’s the bad Josh. Can’t win with bad Josh.
  21. Can’t win with Stupid Josh. They bait him into that throw every week.
  22. They held. So stfu.
  23. Quit playing football then. If that’s roughing quit playing football.
  24. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field!
