I see your point. I would say throwing deep back across into the middle of the field is not a good decision. Love the guy but he makes some dumb decisions. They again are not exclusive.

Tried. And failed. Dumb picks are Josh’s Achilles heel unfortunately.

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we’d all have a Merry Christmas.

As I said I love Josh as we all do. But the picks kill us. Imagine how much greater he’d be without them.

Yes we are fortunate. And also yes he has to stop throwing dumb picks. They are not mutually exclusive.

The reality is we were lucky yesterday. Josh was bad Josh until the last drive. Cook had a pivotal fumble. The defense let a guy with no experience in the league almost win the game for the Bolts. The only guy that played really well was Oliver. Just admit they sucked yesterday and got lucky. They won’t be that bad every game; I suspect they’ll squish the Fish like Josh always does. But they sucked yesterday and have too many times this year against inferior competition and that’s why they’re in the position they’re in.

All at pivotal moments.

One step. And a smart QB knows not to underthrow a pass going back across the middle of the field. Quit treating the guy as if he’s the second coming.

I love Josh. I believe he will win us at least one Lombardi. As he gets older and smarter (and spare me the BS about his prime years- he’s got another 10-12 years) the dumb picks should go away. But mark my words, we will lose our shot this year because he’ll throw a dumb pick at the wrong time. I just hope it’s not in the actual Super Bowl; that would be unbearable.

We all love Josh, we all think he’ll bring a Lombardi to WNY, but you can set your watch by the dumb picks he throws time after time.
