  1. Kirby asked for a starting lineup. TEs are usually included.
  2. Looks like he’s worked his butt off this off season. We’ll see how he does.
  3. Great idea. Being one of the old guys, I’d make a couple suggestions: 1. I would think about Jerry Butler vs, Moulds at WR. His career was cut short by injury but he was something else. 2. I’d reverse Reed and Diggs; to me Andre almost invented slot receiver. 3. You don’t have a TE so I’d throw Ernie Warlick in there. 4. DT I’d have Tom Sestak. He was a great player. 5. DE: Could make a case for Ron McDole 6. OLB Mike Stratton was great. And MLB I might put London Fletcher, or Jim Haslett. Talley was really more an OLB. 7. CBs for me would be Robert James and Butch Byrd. I personally liked Egerson as much as Byrd James to me is the best CB to ever put on a Bills uniform. Could also put White here. 8. At S you could throw in Saimes and/or Tony Greene. Saimes was a mainstay of the great AFL defenses.
  4. Duby was good but Butler would have been an All Timer had he not got hurt.
  5. Well, that’s why there’s a chat room I guess.
  6. Not a thigh doctor but an Anatomy doctorate. Muscles can recover from tears or pulls. In fact, when you lift weights to put on muscle mass what happens is you get mini-tears in the muscle, which then get repaired by the muscle laying down more intracellular fibers (actin and myosin), i.e. the muscle undergoes hypertrophy. Fun fact, muscle cells don’t replicate.
  7. Look, I love Josh. We all love Josh. But to say at this point he is definitively the best Bills player ever over Bruce and/or OJ is kind of silly. I would ask if you are old enough to have watched Jerry Butler. Because those who watched him know he was much better than Lee Evans. Same with Lofton.
  8. If the argument is which did more in a Bills uniform then Lofton did much more than Owens. As for best WR in a Bills uni I’d have Reed, Butler, Lofton, Diggs, and Moulds as top 5.
  9. Bobby James is another great name Was never an Owens fan for some reason.
  10. I had Tasker on my list. I’ll admit he’s one of my all time favorite Bills, but he’s on my list because he might be the best ST player (not kicker or returner) of all time. Lot of folks have put some other great names. If I was going to add 5 more they’d be Brown, K Williams, Smerlas, Stratton, and Diggs
  11. I give preference to guys with HOF talent. I can see arguments for Diggs over him. Had to make a choice between him and Hull on my list. Brown was outstanding
  12. Well I disagree. Are you going to beat me up or something?
  13. I think Ingram may very well start the season as CB2.
  14. I would suggest Kelly was better throwing the long ball. And you cannot discount that he called all the plays. I have no doubt that Allen will be with Bruce at the top of the list when all is said and done, but that does not mean one has to denigrate a first ballot HOFer in Kelly.
  15. I agree. I suspect in 5 years Allen tops my list. At least I hope so!
  16. I think any such list has to have Billy Shaw and Joe D, both HOFers.
  17. Can’t open it but here’s my list in order Bruce OJ Thurman Kelly Shaw Reed Allen Joe D Tasker Sestak Bennett Butler Lofton Gilchrist Hull
  18. According to my financial guy I’m set for retirement. So give me the trophy.
  19. I hope the training staff puts all the guys on stretching programs from now till camp and thereafter.
  20. Only playmaker. Right. I’m for figuring out a contract for the guy but the hyperbole around here boggles the mind.
  21. Interesting idea, but it would depend on how another team would want to use him. If they see him as a higher volume, 3 down guy then they’ll likely offer a bigger deal. I want him signed but when you have him only getting maybe 50% of snaps, and Ty Johnson used as a 3rd down back a lot, it’s hard to see him getting a big number.
  22. Does this back up Bernard? I’d hate for Williams to lose snaps as Milano’s backup.
  23. Everyone on the team including coaches and players should always be looking for continual improvement.
  24. He’s in for a fight for playing time. Which is a good thing- nothing wrong with competition.
