  1. Obtuse and obsequious. Deliberately on your part. Enjoy your evening.
  2. Yes , it’s more ridiculous now than ever before. And stupider than before. And meaningless. Perhaps obtuse would be a more apt description of your conduct here.
  3. More extreme in the last 5 years yes. For an obvious reason.
  4. Yes. It is a stupid, catchy phrase for political horsecrap that the extremes of each party have done for years now.
  5. It got caught up in stupid politics. Do you recall what McConnell’s one stated goal was at that time?
  6. I did not respond specifically to your first post. After pages of this crap about how the right is so upset over this cancel culture myth I found what I posted on Google just to show how absurd they are. Then since you addressed me directly I answered in a second post. It is not all about you.
  7. They’re working on the bill as you know. Quit being deliberately obsequious.
  8. I was not responding specifically to your post. Get over yourself.
  9. My comment was to address in general the lunacy of those on the right to try and make this “woke” stuff a real thing when they participate in the same behavior. If the right (note I do not call it the Republican Party because there is no such thing anymore) thinks they can really chart a path back to majority rule based on this crap they’re nuts. I don’t know what you are referring to with the Atlanta situation. If a policeman lost his job trying to break up a riot that’s wrong. If you’re trying to bend and twist it into some way to say only the left does this cancel culture mythical crap you’re wrong. And yes when the extremists on the left do it they’re wrong too. Welcome to capitalism. Companies will make decisions based on their bottom lines. If they think adhering to a specific political idea will cost them money, they will change their policies. Maybe if the political extremes would grow up and realize that they don’t get their way all the time we could get by this crap.
  10. Time to recall the unemployment monthly benefit. Use it for infrastructure.
  11. Nike for using Kaepernick in an ad, or when they were throwing their Keurigs out the window because the company pulled their ads from Sean Hannity’s show, or boycotting Busch over an ad about their immigrant founder, or Doritos for releasing limited edition rainbow chips in support of children bullied for their sexual orientation, or Netflix over their Obama deal, or Yeti for dropping the NRA, or the Superbowl over an ad, or Dick's Sporting Goods because they stopped selling assault style weapons, or Air BnB because some resident owners were allowing "refugees" to stay in their homes, or Ben and Jerry's because they said they didn't support the travel ban, or Disney (I can't remember why that one happened, actually... something, something inclusivity?), or Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Apple, and Instagram (while using these exact platforms to complain) for "silencing conservatives" or having “leftist propagandists” as CEOs, or Kellogg, Johnson & Johnson, and Nestle because they stopped advertising on Breitbart and/or Laura Ingraham's program, or Starbucks because of the “war on Christmas”, or Target because they don't specify what bathroom you must use, and took down the "girls" and "boys" signs by the toys, or Macy’s and Nordstrom’s because they dropped Ivanka Trump’s clothing line (because it wasn’t selling - they weren’t even trying to make a political statement here), or United Airlines, Delta Airlines, REI, Hertz, and Enterprise because they ended their NRA rewards programs, or Amazon because Bezos publicly disapproved of the travel ban, or Marvel because they “promote social justice warriors”, or ESPN because “they should just stick to sports”, So those complaining about Snow White and Seuss and everything else, just shut up. You’re idiots, as are those on the far left trying to close down stuff because it may not completely agree with their political views. These stupid political stunts are exactly that -stupid.
  12. Leaders speak the truth to the people and convince them to follow. Despots lie to the people and threaten them if they do not adhere to the lies. Some have a truly twisted concept of the idea of leadership. Cheney speaks the truth. There was no fraud that gave Biden the election. Everyone on this board knows that. The January 6th insurrection was an attempt to subjugate the democratic underpinnings of government. Again, everyone here knows that. But some would rather bow down to the despot even though they know he lies. Cheney is an actual Republican, a believer in limited government, strong defense, fiscal sanity. As an Independent I agree on those fronts, but would strongly disagree with her on social policy. Cheney, Romney, Sasse, Murkowski, Kissinger, Gonzales. - all actual Republicans, all actual Conservatives. Not the so-called Republicans who bow down at the feet of Trump. How these people can look at themselves in a mirror every morning knowing they have abandoned their principals and any semblance of self-respect boggles the mind. Oh well. In 2022 when they lose the suburbs again because rational moderates and independents refuse to vote for Trumpists, maybe the message will sink in.
  13. The prosecution of Burisma was done well before the Vice President's actions on behalf of the U.S. and allies to end the corruption in Ukraine. They were not related in any way. Again, then Vice President Biden acted on behalf of the country and its allies as part of our official foreign policy to rid the Ukraine of corrupt influences favoring Russia. Giuliani acted to try and influence our democratic election. Huge difference.
  14. The corrupt prosecutor was investigating Burisma several years before then Vice President Biden along with other European allies pressured Ukraine to get rid of him precisely because he failed to end corruption in Ukraine. Get your facts straight.
  15. Yeah but this guy is not better.
  16. We have Motor, Moss, Breida, and Williams. We are fine at RB.
  17. It is not the same thing. Not even close. Biden acted in his capacity as Vice President, representing not only the U.S. but other countries, to pressure the Ukrainian government to get rid of corruption in that country. Giuliani did what he did to try and swing an election to his buddy. Not close to comparable.
  18. Judge Scalia in his Heller opinion for the majority indicated that the second amendment right is not absolute in that there needed to be further debate on who could be denied a weapon (such as criminal history of mental status) or whether certain weapons could legally be banned. Of course, some geniuses will now say Scalia was a RINO or not a conservative. One of the most brilliant conservative minds of the last century.
  19. There was no fraud as evidenced by audits and as evidenced by the number of failed court cases. It is far past time to stop this nonsense. You want to question the state, question the Arizona Republican state legislature that has hired some shadow corporation led by an avowed conspiracy theorist to do some mythical recount where they hire people, equally taken in by Trumps's nonsense to the point where they were part of the January 6th nonsense, to be one of the counters. If this fantasy goes on, it will destroy this country as we know it. Luckily it won't because the Trump party will lose. It will bring Democrats out in force, and independents and actual, real Republicans will not vote for people who back this crap.
  20. There was no fraud in the election. Your unwillingness to accept reality threatens the survival of our republic.
  21. The title of the thread is meaningless because the Republican Party does not exist. There are Democrats and there are Trump clan members. When solid actual Republicans like Romney and Cheney and Sasse and Flake are not considered Republican anymore it just shows the inanity of those enslaved to a guy that lost the Congress and the White House. Independents like me will never vote for anyone who licks Trump’s behind.
  22. I think Sanders and Beasley don't play the same role. You raise an interesting point about this. I do think Davis can get deep and they can always send McKenzie deep as well (or the kid they drafted from Houston). With our offense though I think separation is more pivotal.
