  1. i wouldn't try to determine what's going to happen this draft based on what happened last draft. there were new coaches, and if i'm not mistaken, bean wasn't even hired yet.
  2. well of course it will look different because of cap room and picks. hence the breaking down year, and building up this off season. they definitely need to find a qb this offseason, but i don't know why you assume the bills would "settle" for keenum, and then not draft a qb. was this mentioned anywhere, or are you assuming?
  3. he's here for a year. i just don't agree with bringing in a guy who can make the offense work for one year. this is a long term plan. as i've said many time, this roster is going to look drastically different next year. this year was a break down, and this off season begins the build up. i don't think it's easy as you're making by saying just change things up next year so it works for the same qb. i suppose it depends on the system they want to run.
  4. scott, that decision on a qb is for the temporary. i think we all knew that. tyrod had to take a pay cut just to come back. to think he was part of a long term solution, and that you should build around him just isn't correct.
  5. says who? it's just as easily said that the best coaches put their systems in place, and bring in the players that can run that system. if a player falters, you can grab another. again, why would anyone adapt a system to tyrod? he's just too limited.
  6. agree with the bolded. i just don't think you go out and hire an oc that works with taylor. you hire a guy that runs the offense you want to run, and get the qb from there. i hate the idea of building anything around taylor, and i have a feeling this staff did too.
  7. oh man. i finally saw this, and i'm so sorry.
  8. you know why applebees was the one place you could get a drink? because it's terrible, and most people know better.
  9. i think i'd rather hang out back behind a dumpster than inside an applebees.
  10. marrone has more talent on his roster because the jags have been picking in the top 5 forever. i get what you're saying about getting rid of talent, but you seem a bit over the top angry today. you know how this goes with him. his act got old on the bbmb, and he was banned, signed up under multiple names, only to be banned again. i have no idea why he plays this game, but the threads always read the same...made to incite, and usually pretty ignorant.
  11. i say something, "would be a pleasure" when i have to go to a party or a dinner that i want nothing to do with.
  12. That guy is a far bigger fan than I'll ever be.
  13. Very true. Anytime that team becomes any bit weaker, I'm on board.
  14. This is where I'm at with it. Show me the physical demise, and you'll see a smile from ear to ear.
  15. you're not too far. long acres farm is pretty badass, (i'm pretty sure i'm in the right area).
  16. i think hooligans is a perfect choice. when i lived in webster, that was the place to watch anything really. i can almost guarantee the place will be rowdy. i stick to the champs/distillery around here because i live right up the road across from casa larga. it's just too easy to stay local.
  17. she's super nice. she's been there for years, and always recognizes us when we sit at the bar. i've even heard the boyfriend stories, (if i'm not mistaken, she been dating this new guy for some time now).
  18. i don't think it was ever a question of his talent, just his ethic. sometimes you can get round a lazy player, but for that kind of money, you expect so much more. i'd expect a team leader, and i don't think he'll ever be that guy...not that the jags need him to be.
  19. 87...the first place i thought of when you were looking was shooters. even though cmf won't be there, the place is always a good time. i watched the atlanta game with the poster likei've, and we had a blast. champps, (which is attached to the mall) is another solid place to watch the game. they'll turn the game on the overhead speakers and they get a good crowd. village tavern has a nice bar, but i can't stand the food. i live right by shooters and champps, so they tend to be my favorite. hooligans in webster is the other place that i can think of that has a massive bar, tons of tv, and get rowdy. i went there for a bills thursday night game against the jets before nfl network was on local cable, and it was awesome. i was at the thirsty turtle with likei've recently too. i like the food and bar, but i just don't see it as a great place to watch a game. who is your bartender friend at champs? is it the dude with the beard and tattoos?
  20. i was so thrilled when we took dareus. he was everything he needed for that dline. he was just never lived up to his part of the deal. if you're going to get paid like a professional, you can certainly act like one. the quote you posted is amazing. he's a great athlete when he wants to be. i just don't see it lasting for long.
  21. i assume they're all part of the same angry life club. they have monthly meetings, bake sales, pay dues, etc.
  22. i wonder if malik jackson thinks dareus showing up to late to meeting and getting arrested were disrespectful to the bills. he sure wasn't disrespected when he was given a boat load of cash from the team.
  23. and look who runs into back him up. not shocking.
