I wish they would bring fiber to my area! Verizon fios is in my city but not my area and afaik have no plans of coming to my neighborhood. I get 200 mbps right now. Spectrum does offer 400mbps and 1gb speeds but I’ve been content with 200. It’s plenty for streaming. It would be nice to have GB speeds for downloads though.

So, just like cable has done for decades? At least with streaming services there’s competition. Everyone and their brother is coming out with their own streaming service. Im sure eventually they’ll be weeded down, and prices may rise. But right now you can save a lot of money over cable for the same, or better, coverage. And better picture quality too. I don’t see cable going anywhere any time soon though. If anything, maybe they’ll be forced to finally start offering better prices and not price gouging their long time customers while giving deals only to new customers. cable companies finally have legit competition. That’s a good thing.

Capitol One The Match (Allen Tattoo)
BillsFan4 replied to TheNorwoodStrangler's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think you need to try and arrange to have Josh Allen actually tattoo his signature underneath the bills tattoo. Let’s get a social media campaign going for this Bills mafia! 😂 -

$60 to $80 a month for cable? damn, where do you live? I want those prices! 😂 my cable bill is like $250/month. It’s $80+ alone just for the cable internet.

spotrac shows Poyer as the 13th highest paid safety https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/rankings/average/safety/ And over the cap shows him as the 12th highest paid safety: https://overthecap.com/position/safety/ and you are right, things have changed since he signed the deal. When he signed the deal he was among the top 10 highest paid safeties. Can’t remember exactly where he fell in the top 10. Teams can’t afford to give players a raise every time another player at their position gets more money. and remember, his last contract wasn’t up at the time the Bills gave him this newest deal. The bills gave him a big raise anyway. I agree that he deserves an extension and I hope it works out and he gets one in Buffalo. I’d love to keep him around beyond this season. But if he’s looking for top 5 safety money it’s not happening in Buffalo. They don’t have the cap space for a deal like that, especially with important extensions on the horizon for younger players.

Oh wow, that brings back some memories! 😂 I remember all the hype around that TRX stuff.

Video: Bills Sights & Sounds from OTAs

I almost thought Brian a Daboll was there for a second when I saw that bald dude walk in front of Ken Dorsey (around 1:53) 😂 -

Not surprised to see McDaniel and Hill hyping up Tua. The GM fired a successful head coach in order to hire an inexperienced yes man from a offensive system designed to make mediocre QBs successful. Then traded 5 picks for a WR and made him the highest paid receiver in history to help his struggling QB. Both McDaniel and Hill are being paid to rescue Tua. 😂

That is my guess as well. Im guessing a Tampa vs Carolina and Colorado vs Edmonton conference finals. Edmonton vs Colorado could be a very interesting series, if Edmonton gets by Calgary. The way both teams play such an attacking offensive style could make for some really exciting games. I also think Edmonton has a better shot at besting Colorado than Calgary does. But I’d still pick Colorado and Tampa as the two most likely Stanley cup finalists. Yeah, Vasilevskiy has really turned it up a gear starting with that game 6 against Toronto. He’s just been a brick wall since then. The entire Tampa bay team has really seemed to flip a switch since that game 6 where they faced elimination. They were kind of up and down before that. Boy, I bet Toronto is kicking themselves right now after watching that Florida series. Had they been able to close out Tampa I really feel like they would have been the best team left in the East. Their chances at making the ECF would’ve been pretty good (IMO).

With the panthers getting swept last night, the Sabres draft position is finalized for all 3 first round picks. They will pick #9, #16 and #28 (unless they trade one of the picks, obviously).

It’s amazing how McDavid has elevated his game during the playoffs this year. He’s pretty much willing the oilers through the playoffs. It kind of reminds me of watching him play junior hockey, where it was just super clear every time he was on the ice that he was on another level from everyone else. Some of the stuff he’s doing looks similar to what he used to do against those Junior players. It’s incredible. Im still not over that draft lottery loss BTW. I don’t know if/when I will be. It still pisses me off that they changed the draft lottery odds staring with that draft. And now they’ve already changed them back. That initial lottery rule change was done directly targeting Buffalo and Arizona IMO.

Because they won the presidents trophy, they highest they can pick is 28th. So if they’re eliminated the pick is #28 as May Day mentioned.

i think this changes things for the blues The rags have been carried by Shestyorkin all season. They wouldn’t even be in the playoffs without him. They’re are a good example of what top end goaltending can do for a team. I thought they played a decent game today though. Yeah, Panthers are toast. They might get swept.

i hope Routsalainen gets a legit chance in Buffalo next season.

Brady talked about this (Belichick demoralizing the team) in that “man in the arena” series. He said even the season they went 16-0 Belichick was constantly demoralizing the team. He said despite clearly being the best team in the league they never felt like they were because Belichick would humble them every day, pointing out every little mistake on film.

Jon Feliciano's take on KC playoff game
BillsFan4 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ah, ok. That makes more sense. I still disagree. But I couldn’t even figure out wtf he was talking about before. I was like “is he thinking of the 2020 afc championship or something?” 😂 -
they did it!!

Jon Feliciano's take on KC playoff game
BillsFan4 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I’m confused too. He seems to be saying that the Bills offense was just going through the motions and if they had more toughness “it would have been a close game”. um. huh? It was a close game. It went to overtime. Isn’t that pretty much the definition of a close game?
