Titans always play us tough. I didn’t expect an easy game. Hopefully the bills can break the Tennessee losing streak tonight! -

Defense needs to hold them now. Hopefully they do a better job than that first drive. -

Put it in Allen’s hands -
I only saw the last few minutes of the game so I can’t really comment on how each team played. But I would think That win is going to give Miami a bunch of confidence heading into our week 3 game against them. And you know they’re going to be out to prove they can beat the Bills after losing so much in recent years. Hopefully Buffalo handles business like normal. But I’m not just overlooking them either. I look forward to seeing how they handle our offense + defense. It’ll be a good test to see where they’re at.

‘It’s Over!‘: LeSean McCoy Rips Patriots Head Coach
BillsFan4 replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Belichick let his ego get the best of him with Brady. I think he really thought that Brady wasn’t as important to the dynasty as he was. I think he thought he made Brady, not the other way around. Brady would’ve been happy to retire a patriot if Belichick would’ve just shown him the respect he had earned. Then we’d always be wondering “who was more responsible for the dynasty, Brady or Belichick?”. But now it’s looking like Brady was. Maybe that will change in the coming years. I’m not ready to write BB off yet. But as of now Brady is looking like the more important person in that partnership. -
So just out of curiosity I turned on the develop tools advanced menu on my fire stick. The game was holding a pretty consistent 60 frames per second for me, and was broadcast in 1080p full HD. It had a few spikes here and there of aro7nd 70 frames per second but I didn’t see it drop below 60fps.

Amazon prime app (you need a prime subscription). They have the exclusive rights to Thursday night games for like the next decade now.

I am surprised to see so many complaining about picture quality. Mine looks fantastic. They are even broadcasting in dolby vision. My picture looks way better than the crappy 720p cable broadcasts. This is definitely at least 1080p and might even be 4k but I’d have to check with the developer tools menu to be sure. I might try to do it at half time. It also allows you to check frame rates, which I’m curious about now after some of the comments. Might be worth trying to restart your streaming devices.Or reboot your routers. Or both. If you’re watching on an app built into the tv you may want to try rebooting your TV.

“Be careful before you post another scathing message on social media, calling out the Jets for their poor performance in their season-opening loss to the Ravens. Head coach Robert Saleh and his staff might see it, turning it into bulletin board material.” challenge accepted… 😂

Every Bills fan should say the chiefs. The Chiefs are still the top dog in the AFC, no matter who the media picks as their favorites, until the bills can actually beat them in the playoffs. Titans always play us tough too. Despite their loss yesterday I still worry about them. But the bills run defense looks improved so that should help. Buffalo just needs to match their physicality + intensity. I think they will. Indy always plays us tough too. They always start out slow so I don’t think yesterday was a representation of what they will be. Chargers offense looked good. Justin Herbert is Justin Herbert. They are going to be an issue if for no other reason than they have Herbert. Mack was a beast on the d line. Not overly concerned about Miami yet. Yes, Hill will probably be a PITA but they still have Tua as their QB. I think he will crumble against our pass rush.

Justin Jefferson is so damn good!

Mahomes still looks like Mahomes and the Chiefs still look like the chiefs. They’re not missing Hill much today. For me, the AFC still runs through the chiefs until Buffalo gets by them in the playoffs. Don’t get me wrong, I’m hopeful that Buffalo is the better team. But we need to prove it in the playoffs.

LOL at that throw by Jones! 😂

Ouch. Big mistake by #98

Lions scoring on their opening drive was a bit unexpected. After watching hard knocks I wasn’t buying into the hype like many seem to be. I’m still not but they did have a nice opening drive.

Lol at max Jones yelling at Parker for that INT. 😂 or at least I think that’s who he was yelling at. That wasn’t Parker’s fault… edit - nevermind he was yelling for a flag to be thrown, and he was right.

Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
BillsFan4 replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
He can make $100 million guaranteed just playing on the franchise tag the next 2 seasons (after this one). So, about the same amount of guaranteed money in half the time. Yeah it’s a risk. But it worked out pretty well for Cozens and I’d say Lamar is the better overall player. I can respect Lamar for being confident in his abilities and being willing to put his money where his mouth is. but it’s definitely a risk. Im sure glad we have Josh Allen. And I’m glad his #1 priority wasn’t just being the highest paid QB. -
Happy to see this! I still don’t know how likely it is that they get a long term deal done with Poyer (especially if he’s looking for $15-16+M a year) but at least this should keep him happy for the season. I hope both sides are able to come to a deal that works for everyone. I’d love for Poyer to be here for years to come.

Baldy's Breakdowns from last night's demolition
BillsFan4 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
For me, it was more about it being the perfect play call for the situation. -
Man, that performance has me hyped up. They obviously need to clean up the unforced errors but otherwise I couldn’t have asked for a much better performance than that! Every unit of the team performed. The new d line was dominant. The new starting CBs played well, as did the defense as a whole. Special teams looked good. Kickoff coverage was excellent. The o line looked pretty good in pass protection, especially considering they were facing Aaron Donald. Allen looked fully in control/command of every aspect of the game. His audible on that Diggs TD was a thing of beauty! WR’s looked good. Crowder looks like a nice addition. Rbs looked good. and how about the run game?! It kind of reminded me of the 2015 Bills run game when Greg Roman and Aaron Kromer were here with the size of the holes they were opening up. Can you imagine the Bills offense if they can add a dominant run game to the incredible passing game they already have?? Talk about scary (for the rest of the NFL)…!
