Week 14 SNF: Bills Whoop Steelers PostGame Thread
Figster replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh Allen really has been all business through the whole process so far for McD and Daboll and its starting to show. Its beginning to look like Buffalo might be the only team in the league wih enough fire power to take on the defending champs, and beat them... -

With the help of McD and a little pre game dance from the opposition. 12th man may have been gone from the stands, but not forgotten... -

Josh is the respected one directing traffic, Diggs, Beasley and Davis are the 3 beast attack. Together their the grinch that stoled christmas for Steeler fans. If that helps... -

Allen, the run, and rhythm passing
Figster replied to NickelCity's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with this although I think to run for 150 per game when committed requires keeping the RB's involved enough in the O in every game IMO. I think the more you can evenly distribute the football to all of your playmakers the harder you become to defednd IMO. On a side note and pure speculation. It appears Allen is mastering the technique of playing devoid of emotion. Its possible losing his Grandma may have helped trigger this cold as ice zone Josh Allen has found himself playing in IMO. Again, pure speculation on my part and diving deep into the mind of the Figster...( where no man wants to go) -

We hope the team in red gets knocked out by a team in black Let me clarify since we are wearing lollipop red next sunday. I'm talking about K C in the playoffs. -

This could very well be a preview to the AFC championship game IMO. Both teams know it... -

If I'm being honest the days did kinda get mixed up for me to there for a minute with all the football on Monday. -

I've always been a fan of the so called game managing expert skills of Alex Smith. The Steelers did look listless. On the other hand I think the Washington football team did a good job making them look that way. Smith proved by protecting the football on O you can beat them IMO. (On a side note the benching of Moss for fumbling was a good lesson learned leading up to the game with the Steelers) -

Lol, Sunday, monday, something like that eh... I get your point Weo, and agree. If you wagched both teams play its not surprising Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are favored IMO. -

I think after watching Buffalo vs 49ers after the loss probably didn't help matters. Myself personally, the Steelers are worn down from the compressed scheduling IMO. -
Playbooks staying and leaving with Daboll
Figster replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You also want to succeed because If you don't the next opportunity may never come. I think watching McD complete the process ( championship ) and being a big part of why gives Daboll the kind of platform he needs for sustainable success in the NFL IMO. -

True, On the other hand I don't think the opportunities go away If you turn down offers and go on to achieve more with an organiation like winning a championship. -

Josh Allen is really turning into a players magnet IMO. Its possible that same magnetism is felt strongly by Daboll. As a coach and person how can you not love Josh Allen. Coaching him is a unique opportunity only Allen can bring to the table IMO. The strongest armed QB the NFL has ever seen. Smart , courageous, great leader, players love him. ( accurate ) : ) As Daboll, do you really want to play against Josh Allen? -

Helping Josh Allen win a Championship I hope gives Daboll enough incentive to stay. Can you imagine Daboll going to the Jets and getting teamed up with Trevor Lawrence. : ( -

Innovative coaches have evolving playbooks that they adjust to the players avaiable given the skill sets they offer IMO. Losing Daboll would be such a huge loss for the Buffalo Bills... On a side note Ryan Fitzpatrick has future OC material written all over him IMO. It will be interesting to see how well Fitzy coaches up Tua. ( scary ) The bearded one loves Buffalo. I'm just saying...
