  1. I was happy and a little frustrated. I knew it wasn't going to be easy so it was an odd feeling for me coming away from a win this way. Like we got lucky even though turnovers / forced fumbles are a big part of the game. Yes, I feel like Buffalo was out coached. The Patriots O just failed to execute on the final drive. So happy for the win, but my expectations were a little higher. Culture shift...
  2. Its that gravitational pull differential again @ Gugny
  3. I think when you draft a QB in the 1st round its because you need a franchise QB to lift the organization to a higher level. Not 3 years from now, now. Even a developing franchise QB is a shot in the arm for the the whole organization in my humble opinion. I expect Tua to have growing pains this season. McD's D will be one of them. Longer term , Tua is up for the challenge IMO. (Bama biased)
  4. I think theres an important distinction to be made about hating a player vs critique on how a player is playing. After going back and removing some of my posts last night on this thread then the Edmunds thread. I thought to myself, I was looking for feedback. So I tried to ask a couple of our TBD on board game analysts. (I like to call them) When a player becomes a Bill they are like family to me. Even after their gone I never stop rooting for them. When a player has played below his capabilities for a long length of time then it begs to ask the question why. Or how much this players play changes the dynamics around him. So just to be clear a critique on a player doesn't always equate to hate. I'm sure others feel the same...
  5. Myself personally, I agree with OP's overall assessment of where the Bills are now and where the Buffalo Bills are going. Each game is a learning experience and a McD football team is going to make progress IMO. Take the good with the bad and get better in all 3 phases of the game. Its all we can do... The run game looked very strong today ... (To me it looks like Edmunds is playing at around 70% ) I'm not questioning the mans heart or talent. More his health...
  6. Big Ben gets them in the right play. Call him what you want...
  7. I'm not following them close enough to say how great he has or hasn't been. Different team without him...
  8. Nice to see the Titans knocked back down to size. On the other hand we have trouble brewing in Pittsburgh, He goes by the name of Big Ben Roethlisberger...
  9. If I'm B B I'm not hating how Cam Newton played today.
  10. Its the kind of play the Ray Lewis led Ravens D lived by. It doesn't get any better then that...
  11. Not the tightest spiral and the wind caught the ball just enough to make what should have been an easy catch get away from him. Still, its a catch you have to make...
  12. Thanks Cam Newton did look good IMO. QB's giving their bodies up for the team get the ball punched out sometimes. Trust me when I say Bills fans know the feeling. Good game Buddy
  13. Myself personally, I'm real happy with our WR's. Upgrade on our TE position on the other hand wouldn't hurt my feelings. Nasty weather has played a big part lately and is only going to get worse...
  14. I was just thinking about how good of a job our OC has done this season. Gets the run game cranking so the Bills are no longer one dimensional going into the tougher part of the season. Well done Daboll...
  15. Cam played well today, My hats off to the Patriot QB, Oddly enough seeing the pain etched onto his face after the fumble tells me Cam Newtons heart is in the right place.
  16. Happy for Gabe Davis. Even happier for the win. We knew they weren't going away easy...
  17. Nasty weather outside for our Buffalo Bill football team. Time to get nasty and smash the living daylights out of the team that has tormented us for 2 decades. TWO DECADES!!! LETS GO BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!
  18. Which having a young and developing franchise QB begs to ask the question why? Where is Brady without Gronk over the years. (something Brady is clearly aware of IMO.) Where is Mahomes by way of accomplishments without Kelce? What could Allen do with a TE like Kelce? I don't get it Biscuit...
  19. I already have my suspicions. Short term, works out great for the Bills this season. Long term, not so good...( By way of competitive division)
  20. I agree with Cam, for him, for the Patriots, its a must win. I think Cams future longer term in Foxboro is very much at risk here... Trevor Lawrence playing for the Patriots one day could become a distinct possibility real quick unfortunately IMO. Lose to the Jets twice, B B is no dummy. Allen, Lawrence and Tua in one division? Yikes...
  21. Perhaps this year maybe. Myself personally, having Brady has allowed B B to put most of his coaching skills to good work in the area he specializes in most IMO. I think If you give Wade Phillips the same QB as HC he wins a championship for the same reason IMO. My expectations are still high...( dark horse/ wildcard )
  22. True that, I'm afraid its only going to get worse with Tua, There was allot of discussion pre draft on who was the best QB between Tua and Burrows. I like Burrows, but was always on what seemed to be a losing argument with Tua. Time will tell...
  23. I never suggested otherwise, Just wondering how a somewhat daunting remainder of the schedule IMO is looking so different to someone else. I'm not trying to be a Debbie downer here ...
  24. Its only 1 team PTR We lost to the other 2...
  25. Curious, Buffalo has not performed well vs playoff contenders this season or in McD's tenure here so far for that matter. I'm a big homer, mind If I ask where all this confidence is coming from? I could use some...
