  1. 3 days off together allows for travel and recreation better IMO.
  2. I liked Fridays off, then work on Friday when needed for overtime.
  3. At 6ft 2 Gabriel Davis adds size and larger catching radius for Josh Allens high velocity lower arc throws IMO. I'm expecting the rookie to start shining big...
  4. No, not in my opinion it hasn't Muppy. Buffalo's dismal 3rd quarter play has been well documented and continues to be a problem. I do however think getting the ground game going may help remedy the problem IMO.
  5. Well, you have to admit Coffee, (with a little cream and sugar) Bills fans have been body slammed a few times with a reality check after getting our collective hopes up to high... ...I'm just saying...
  6. Holy Four Horsemen Batman! The Football Heavens awaits us...
  7. Reid , Belicheat, Payton, Carroll, Tomlin and the list goes on all have one thing in common. Franchise QB's It took Buffalo almost 2 decades to draft a franchise QB in combination with a top notch HC with a GM on the same page and OP's depressed? The Buffalo Bills are uplifting to me...
  8. Beyond great would be the place where Mahomie's minions go and to get there we need the equivalent of Kelce, Is what your saying...
  9. The reason why I prefer a more balanced approach is because for a RB to be ready to produce when called upon he needs to be included enough in the Offensive game plan to begin with IMO. Running the ball gives the Oline a chance to attack and wear down the oppositions D IMO. Dump it off to the RB in space more. Allow a pass happy 1st half when succesful give way to a more run heavy 3rd quarter IMO. Allow your success in one to open up the other is how I see it.
  10. I understand Much thought has went into Buffalo's 3rd quarter woes this season and perhaps the lack of a good rushing attack as a change in playing style is part of the problem IMO. I was using the opportunity to emphasize the importance of a good run game and how even the best QB''s in the league are perfectly content to run the football. Mahomes, Tom Brady/ GOAT. Its not a question of trust, its doing what works best under the conditions you are playing in IMO. Bad weather, run the football. Do you want to have better control TOP against powerhouse O like K C, run the football. Do you want to assist your QB in the passing game? Run the football. Ask Ryan Tannehill what a good run game has done to help take his play/career to the next level. When you want to hold a lead and finish off an opponent. Run the football, and run it well. Not as an afterthought...
  11. Still, It did seem eerily similiar and I found myself feeling very thankful for Anthony Lynns poor clock management skills. This hail mary play seems to be a problem...
  12. On film two of the 3 teams that beat us ran the ball down our throats. K C proved how important the running game can be in bad weather conditions IMO. Something Buffalo is sure to see more of with possibly a home playoff game in the future If all goes well IMO. I like your observation/assessment about sticking to the gameplan. I can also understand how it might appear flat vs Josh zipping the ball all over the playing field. (No pun intended y2zipper)
  13. We can't read the coaching staffs minds although I do tend to agree. Josh Allen has been doing a good job for the most part protecting the football IMO. If protecting the football means running the ball more at a point in the football game. I don't think its something Allen or Daboll would have a problem with because the trust works both ways in my humble opinion. The Buffalo Bills needed to establish a run game regardless. For that to happen the RB's needed more touches/ involvement which went as planned IMO.
  14. Ugly, sloppy, and flat to me sounds like a game filled with costly penalties, poor execution and uninspired play IMO. As nasty as some of the descriptions of the game may sound, a healthy Josh Allen with a win today is a beautiful thing...
  15. Run game showed improvents and we already know what the passing game is capable of IMO. Playing like that gave Buffalo an 8 - 3 record and one step closer to the playoffs IMO. This was like a playoff game for Anthony Lynn and a games like today get coaches fired in this league IMO..
  16. Like what? Winning? Opposition makes plays...
  17. Be nice to see Yeldon get some play time. Myself personally, getting the run game going in all liklihood was Dabolls top priority going into the bye week IMO. Get your motor running...
  18. Happy Turkey day to all you Turkeys!. Buckle up, mask up and stay safe through the holidays everyone! Eat lots of Turkey!!!
  19. It is fun to speculate. Myself personally, coaching and supporting cast came together perfectly for Patrick Mahomes. Under different circumstances, different teams, Mahomes may not be enjoying the same degree of success up to this point in his NFL career IMO. No knock on Anthony Lynn, but he's no Andy Reid.
  20. You scheme well or you don't. You execute well or you don't. You finish well or you don't...
  21. Generally speaking, I'm not buying into your good luck or bad luck defines who we are argument OP. A football game is not 70 minutes or 50 minutes. its 60 minutes unless overtime occurs. Regardless of what a team is doing in the last 10 minutes of a football game If they didn't play well enough in the first 50 minutes its all for not. The opposition or Buffalo in this case desrves credit for doing enough to withstand the final onslaught. The Buffalo Bills are not 7 - 3 because they are lucky in my humble opinion OP. The Arizona game is a good example. The Bills are the only team in the league to beat 4 teams with 6 or more wins. All playoff contenders at this point in the season. This equates to competitive, hard fought football games IMO. The Buffalo Bills are becoming a battle hardened football team IMO. If I was to use one word to describe why they are where they are at the top of the AFC East. HEART...
  22. The Bills have beaten two teams ranked above us. If top 10 was considered top tier I would say the Buffalo Bills are right in the thick of things IMO.
  23. I agree, Titans, If they win ( hopefully not ) in all likelhood would match up aginst a rested Steeler team in the 2nd round IMO. : ) On the other hand the Raiders have a decent chance of knocking off K C. Good, but matches us up with the Titans round 2 Interesting...
  24. The locker room might be divided now because of the move to bench Tua IMO. Most players I'm sure can understand why starting the rookie makes sense. Benching him in a game stiil within reach, not so much. As a fellow player of Tua's it says to me the coaches don't trust this guy or are not all on the same page where his development is concerned IMO.
  25. I think watching Tannehill excel with the Titans has got to sting a little. The fan base I'm sure is very anxious to move forward and probably views Fitzpatrick as a bearded road block to the future. Ownership probably feels the same. Chan Gailey in all likelihood is not a happy camper IMO. So what does Miami do going forward...
