Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston
Figster replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've got no problem standing up for our QB. I wouldn't trade Josh Allen for the world. The mans perfect for Buffalo. Buffalo's perfect for the man. Comparing stats and wins relative to the teams they play for by way of argument is where I take issue. I'm fairly certain Watson would perform well in the Daboll O. I can also see Watson taking the Bills into the playoffs and winning a couple games. So for me we are looking at two elite, or borderline elite QB's. Deshaun Watson is one smooth operator behind center IMO. I think something everyone needs to remember though in comparison to any QB in the history of the NFL. Josh Allens arm strength. Allens arm strength gives him the ability to make throws no other QB can make. Something by the way Watson pales in comparison. This thread is more about Deshaun Watson. For the sake of argument. -

True Although isn't it reasonable to think If you swaped QB's the numbers and win/loss might be similar? -

Saying Watson is better then Allen goes to far. On the other hand really good QB, borderline elite IMO You just don't see an opportunity like this very often... -

If I'm Houston I take Tua in the trade. Hire Chan Gailey as HC. Fitzy as OC. -
The Super Bowl is a Measuring Stick

Fair enough from a league perpective. Do you think its possible Buffalo may have over achieved in the sense that the Buffalo Bills were not quite ready to win a Championship like many had hoped? The Colts game was close and the Ravens game was not a blowout IMO. I also feel like the Browns gave K C a better game then we did IMO. -

I have no argument with bad game although sometimes the level of competition deserves some credit for it IMO. -

I feel like the Superbowl may tell the Buffalo Bills If they over achieved this post season or played a bad game in the AFC Championship.. I suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle IMO. -

We also have good posters from the Pats fan base here on TBD that are polite and enjoyable to talk football with IMO. I agree, Bradys kicked our asses for years. He's been kicking everyones ass for years. In a all business manner and professionalism that is much more tolerable then the Mr can't touch this, magic man. Go Goat!!!

I agree, I think when someone passes away there's a finality to it thats much different then worrying about losing someone. Moms and Dads especially. I remember working on an engineering project years back as-building the city Atlanta, Ga to remedy flooding problems. My late Dad was back home in Augusta and in very poor health with an aortic aneurysm. Doctors weren't sure he would survive an operation. The worry became to much for me and I had to resign. Spent time with my family through the operation and recovery before going back to work. Dad was a stickler about on the job dependability. I would like to think he understood my reasoning. Although we never spoke of it afterwards. Moms and Dads are special people.

I agree John, I must admit I wasn't to thrilled with the idea of using high draft picks to go after another RB. However having had the privilege of watching Harris play for my favorite college team. The thought of Harris in the Bills backfield sends tingles up my spine.
