  1. For the record nobody is jumping off of the bandwagon. The more football savvy posters that frequent this forum don't want to see the future of the franchise ruined or injured. Trust me when I say we have seen it all. The problem I have is teaching Allen bad mechanics because the BIlls Oline isn't giving him enough time and space for good mechanics. Worse, season ending injury. Allen almost excited his last game start with a concussion. In my opinion McD wanted Allen to get a real taste of what he would be facing during the regular season so started him in game 3. It didn't go well. Josh Allen is not ready in my humble opinion.
  2. 28 points and the win and you want to break it down in quarters, hahaha How is Allens last outing rated ? lol
  3. It might be the big guys way of telling you Buffalo is the place to be my friend. You would make a good Bills fan If you think about it. ; )
  4. Meanwhile McCarron led the team to 5 scoring drives ( 4 TD ) in one game for a dramatic come from behind win against the Bears which is even greater. Coach McD was asked after the game If McCarron was still being considered for the starting job and the answer was yes. The Great Debate III
  5. McCarron has started before and helped the Bengals reach the playoffs. McCarron basically did the same thing in his 1st ever playoff appearance as he did last night with 16 straight come from behind points. D couldn't close the deal. No game will ever be to big for A J McCarron IMO.
  6. You just gave a real good argument on why A J McCarron should start against the Ravens IMO. Peterman's confidence is growing and it would be nice to build on vs tear down in my humble opinion.
  7. Happy Birthday CGF, and Mrs Beerball while we're at it
  8. Myself personally , A J McCarron exemplified what McD wants from his players last night. Despite being the 4th preseason game I don't think McD or the rest of the Bills players took the come from behind win lightly in my humble opinion. It ended the preseason for the team on a high note. Its the kind of gritty play that wins over a locker room IMO red.
  9. How do you remember Reichs great comeback? someone had to look pathetic through a good part of the game to get so far behind right? How many times did we see J K stink the place up with multiple INT's then go on to throw multiple TD's for the win? playing with who? with how much time together to gel?
  10. The QB competition by way of the constant swapping of strings while fair in and of itself did not allow enough time to gel as units in my humble opinion. The way I look at it did Peterman mount a comeback when given the chance? no It may not have looked pretty shaking off the rust, but A J McCarron went on to score 4 TD's in one game. Couple more long balls should have been caught that would have led to more points IMO.
  11. Followed Mack at the college level naturally and he's another dream player in a Bills uni of mine.
  12. lol, NooooooOOOOOOOooo I would however give a 1st and McCarron (or Peterman) for Mack
  13. Shaking off the rust was probably to be expected by the Bills coaching staff. Seemed like there came a point in the game where McCarron gave way to that gunslinger mentality he keeps locked up so well (thanks to Saban) and started cutting it loose.
  14. It wasn't meaningless for all them kids out there fighting for a chance to play in the NFL. I would like to think A J may have helped a few fellow teamates out with a great albeit 4th preseason game comeback. Other GM's will be looking at this game...
  15. Being a bama/McCarron fan made the comeback extra special. A J playing for Buffalo has been a dream of mine for a few years now. Was the comeback enough to make the team? I hope it was, and watching McCarron on the sidelines at times during the preseason conversing with Allen gives the impression the relationship between them from a mentoring standpoint would be a good one. I'm not sure Peterman could offer the same kind guidance with so little experience. If I'm McD and based partly on the shaky 1 string Oline, I'm keeping a plan A, B, and C at the QB position. Peterman for the start, see where it goes...
  16. The one main ingredient Buffalo was missing when it comes to making the playoffs had more to do with the QB position then anything IMO. To say Buffalo led the NFL before in sacks yet failed to make the playoffs like it was a waste of time doesn't make much sense in my humble opinion. Both Beane and McD do know what their doing and although Mack may never play in Buffalo the Bills still showed interest knowing he wouldn't come cheap.
  17. thanks for the reply, If I remember correctly Schwartz had a top 5 D in Buffalo which both Mario and Marcel played a big part in. funny what coaching/systems can do for players Bright new shiny toy, or Mack truck? If McD/ Beane show a genuine interest then its probably not going to hurt the process on so many levels IMO. with all due respect
  18. To me a player like Mack exemplifies what you want out of your teams D, much like McCoy does on Offense. While other players around them may never reach same heights, elite players help elevate the units as a whole to higher levels IMO.
  19. McD and the big Mack attack Match made in football heaven...
  20. Like ap posted earlier... the asking price is probably set a little higher then what the Raiders may actually settle for...but who knows...
  21. I Understand where your coming from. Buffalo has shown interest though and I"m sure Beane realized ahead of time Mack wouldn't come cheap. Two 1st, probably not, but I could see Beane offering 1st & 3rd ( or Peterman)
  22. If you care about winning elite players are very beneficial to the process in my humble opinion. We need a pass rush...
  23. I thought for sure Buffalo had traded up for Mack When you take into consideration how many 1st round draft choices that don't pan out. Trading 2 complete unknowns for an elite game changer in his prime would not be out of the question in my humble opinion. Would the big Mack boost ticket sales? Or media coverage? National attention? scare Mrs Brady? yes, yes, yes, and hell yes Good posting ap...
  24. unlikely, McD and the big Mack attack ...
