  1. This ^ ^ ^ ^ I wouldn't worry about it, we've been tortured far worse...
  2. True that, but lets not confuse where or how you obtain elite, or at the very least a WR with # 1 achieved status by way of production in the NFL with not having a legit # 1 on the roster John. AB was a later round draft choice...
  3. Elite talent sets the bar high and opens up the playing field for everyone around them. The Bills team that went to 4 straight superbowls was sprinkled with elite talent. The notion Buffalo would have been better off without Andre Reed simply isn't true. Or Troy Aikman without Michael Irvin. Montana without Rice. I'm not saying you can't win a championship without them, but elite talent helps at the WR position in my humble opinion.
  4. We already know the athleticism and arm strength is amazing, arguably the strongest arm the NFL has ever seen. Myself personally, what makes Allen extra special and the reason he is able to excel in not the greatest of conditions, especially for a rookie. Josh Allen is a very intelligent QB. Prepare to eat lots of crow. I mean that in a good way. ( with hot sauce and celery )
  5. Josh Allen already makes the Bills very hard to defend against the run, Bell would magnify it even more putting two elite athletes in the Bills backfield. The opposition is forced to think run 1st, unleashing Buffalo's biggest weapon, J A's cannon of an arm...
  6. Makes you wonder If AB hitting the fake news button sent the wrong kind of message.
  7. AB wanted to become the highest paid WR in the league. Something Brown has worked hard to achieve. If a trade was made and AB's demands for a new contract were not met AB made it perfectly clear you play by his rules/ demands or he's prepared to retire. Minimal interest had more to do with how costly AB would be from a salary standpoint then the trade itself IMO.
  8. The Bills team that went to 4 straight Superbowls was sprinkled with elite talent. Elite doesn't come cheaply. Something Mr Big checks just demonstrated. On his way to becoming the highest paid WR in the NFL. AB was so close to become a Bill, yet so far. Hate it when that happens...
  9. I don't buy the we would still be mediocre part, but I do applaud the McBeane regime for having the confidence to take on a player like AB in part because of the work they have done building up good character to this point in the Bills locker room.
  10. Very possible IMO Chelsie might have said hell no Antonio, your not going to Vegas!
  11. I see McCoy is following AB on twitter AB follows McCoy and Merriman, hmmm
  12. Or flying under the radar again as was originally intended.
  13. I could understand why the Eagles might be considered an attractive landing spot for AB, The Raiders, not so much...
  14. My impression is AB doesn't want to benefit the Steelers with his departure to the point of destroying his own reputation. Some bad blood...
  15. A little wine and dine with the Pegula's perhaps Mr Big Checks say hello to Mr Big Pen...
  16. Buffalo still has an interest IMO. I love Buffalo , but generally speaking its not going to be a favorable landing spot for most players. I get that, On the other hand Buffalo's top 3 D, Allen, and Bills HC McD are changing the playing field IMO. Its possible AB could have a change of heart in my humble opinion.
  17. Myself personally, I don't feel like Beane's comments indicated a loss of interest and in negotiations that should have kept private words can help disguise Beane's true intentions IMO. Despite AB's initial reaction, I think he would come to terms with it, eventually...
  18. It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Once the initial shock waves are over with and the smoke has settled perhaps AB will come to his senses. Top 3 D, HC that gets its, and the next poster boy of the NFL who he needs a go to guy. Buffalo by far is the best case scenario for Antonio Brown to be in. Time to shuffle off to Buffalo AB... ...get er done beane man...
  19. I'm not saying it couldn't happen. On the other hand McD runs a tight ship IMO. Myself personally, some coaches can handle high maintenance players (emotionally) like AB and some can't. McD's one of the ones that can IMO. Both Bell and Brown, two of the best players at their position in the NFL. Both doing everything they can to never play for the steelers again. Ever think the problem might be somewhere else within the organization? Like HC Tomlin for instance?
