  1. Kinda like an offering to the football Gods sorta thing...
  2. I have confidence in Daboll and like how he has tried to gradually put pressure on Allen in the passing game. It bums me out J A and K B finally start to click and Allen screws up his elbow on a late hit. The tide was turning before the injury IMO... McD's experience watching the development of the power forward/QB in Cam Newton gives the Bills HC an upper hand IMO
  3. I understand why you might feel this way, Myself personally, I blame the Bills GM for not having a more experienced QB in Buffalo when the season started. I also blame the Beane head for not addressing the Oline properly...
  4. Myself personally, I think McD was forced into starting Allen much earlier then he had planned because of the Beane heads mistakes. With that being said I'm very happy a more conservative run heavy approach is being utilized in the on field development of Allen and believe McD may have had allot to do with it IMO.
  5. It was a clever way/lyric to capture the outlaw image without endorsing it in my humble opinion. If memory serves me somewhere on the album they show a skeleton arm, hand holding a 38 snub nose with bullets around it. Don't quote me on it though...
  6. Probably one of the biggest things that happened today that may get overlooked was Allen finding his go to guy in Benjamin IMO.
  7. I was against starting J A this quick, but I'm not hating it because Allen seems to be taking it all in stride in my humble opinion.
  8. Allen is as advertised, dripping with raw talent, but a project. Thanks to Beane head Buffalo had to speed up the process. I like what I'm seeing...
  9. Good D's in the NFL are going to make rookies earn their keep. I see progress...
  10. No its not, big bodied Cam Newton ripped a new ahole into the league with his legs. Myself personally, Allen doesn't get injured Bills win.
  11. Just when Allen and Benjamin was starting to get on the same page. Only people I'm dissapointed in was ray ray, Peterman and Beane head for trading McCarron.
  12. Reffering to billbord charts, although I'm sure Ronnie realized the lyric would be catchy for obvious reasons.
  13. "Gimme back my bullets"
  14. Ronnie was one hell of a song writer in my humble opinion. Loved seeing them in concert back in the day.
  15. I can appreciate the good blocking, but when taking it up a notch doesn't involve catching the football 5 games into the season. Rookie or not Josh Allen needs a better go to guy IMO. Some have suggested McCloud might be like a Ray Ray of sunshine... ...let it shine... let it shine... ...let it shine...
  16. Sometimes I just want to frame your post and hang it on TSW
  17. football hospice, I hate it when that happens Doc...
  18. Thanks OP, Having watched Alabama win Championships at the college level using the same formula of a run heavy ball control O and good Defense what Daboll is trying to establish makes sense to me. Josh Allen also fits the Bill with his running ability. Allen led the league in sacks with 18 in the 1st quarter of the season. Something had to change. I would also like to point out a more experienced Nate Peterman was supposed to be running the O and it should not surprise anyone Daboll has had to scale back a little on the rookie. A feeling out process is in the works. Myself personally, I loved the win, thought it was something to build on, and tip my cap to McD and his coaching staff for a job well done.
  19. A raw rookie that had limited reps with the 1st unit during preseason and 4 actual game starts up to now. Bills are 2 - 2 in those starts defeating 2 playoff caliber football teams. The fact that Allen is about as raw as they get and still managed the Titans game like a savvy veteran speaks volumes IMO. Josh Allens ability to run the football will help carry him to where he needs to be in the passing game.
  20. Its official and I like the move. The reason I believe Allen may have success in the NFL perhaps a little quicker than most would have anticipated is the same reason Cam Newton did in my humble opinion. Athleticism/ Running ability. Combine that with an OC in Daboll that clearly knows how to win games / Championships with a stiff D and ball control O and you have a match made in football heaven. I'm a Billiever...
  21. A hard fought win like the game on Sunday against the Titans builds team chemistry IMO. Guys are starting to billieve in each other, Oline's thinking we can do this, McCoy , Ivory saying yes we can, now its our turn to carry the load. Josh Allens thinking, wow, this is my team now... ...one Buffalo strong...
  22. Allen also scored twice as high as T Mobile on the wonderlic (Best in his QB draft class) We haven't even scratched the surface...
  23. I agree, McD may have encouraged the run heavy game plan and considering the Bills WR corp vs McCoy , Ivory and Allen. Running the football plays to Buffalo's strength IMO. One Buffalo strong...
