Would you trade a high 2020 draft choice for AB?
Figster replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Antonio Brown scored 15 TD's last season. Now to me that screams get AB the football. In comparison Buffalo's TE's WR's and RB's combined scored 13 TD's. ( receiving) 15 TD's can help win allot of football games my friend. As a RB back in the day Thurman Thomas wanted the football. Buffalo was smart enough to give it to him. Big fan of Thurman Thomas, but it would not surprise me If he was a miserable person to be around sometimes If he didn't get his touches. The Bills team that went to 4 straight Superbowls bickered because it was full of talented players with big ego's. Its funny how when your winning all the negativity along the way is easily forgotten, when you lose everything gets magnifified. My point is the Steelers have been crowned world champions in the past with AB as a big part of their process/ team chemistry. Myself personally, If Buffalo shows a genuine interest in AB its because McD feels the leadership in the locker room is strong enough to handle it. I agree with you on OBJ, he's a major distraction, but I don't know If I can put AB in the same category. -
Well he is a die hard Packers fan and they did kick our ass last time we played so that qualifies as opposition IMO.

I get where your coming from but, for me the pro's out weigh the con's because for #1 AB has proven he can handle the heavy load. I also think the similarities between Josh Allen and big Ben would allow AB to continue right where he left off as one of the best go to guys in the league. Myself personally, sometimes a change of scenery works wonders for a fella's attitude even If he needs it adjusted a little by leaders in the Bills locker room. Great players at the WR position want the football and AB has earned that right in my humble opinion. -
Despite all the high scoring O's in the NFL this season in the end it was spectacular D from both teams that stole the show. Myself personally, Gilmore deserved Superbowl MVP honors. Not a player on a unit that only scored 13 points, regardless of how many catches he made, IMO. I've grown accustomed to commenting year in and year out, " If only Buffalo could grow QB's like we grow CB's" I'm not sure I can say that anymore ...

Protecting Allen properly and giving him a quality security blanket at the TE position is key IMO. Watching the Superbowl I kept thinking to myself this is the kind of D McD can bring, and this is the kind of football game Josh Allen is going to find a way to win.

The Ninja foodi I posted about finishes off frozen wings with an air fryer/crisper after pressure cooking for 5 minutes. Makes the best wings I've ever eaten. I air fry them about 16 minutes. I'm no chef, but the Ninja foodi makes me feel like one... -

T-Bone Steaks, FF's, and crab legs I think the old son of a bum might have something up his sleeve for this one my friend. -
The dogs would be supported by border patrol providing a mobile, flexible security blanket thats hard to out smart IMO. At a fraction of the price. Awesome reply by the way.

I understand No, but equipped with GPS tracking devices and drone surveillance flying above them.

I'm all for better border security although I would prefer a solution that bites the problem in the behind before the cross country migration starts. Guard dogs yes, nice shiny wall no, the wall doesn't suffice in my mind. Bad guys inside our borders and outside our borders that mean to do harm to friends and loved one's and it shouldn't reflect on all the good people in the world including immigrants looking for a better life. Something our country does a good job advertising...

No way, who would do such a despicable act, using woman and children like pawns in chess...

How about plans available to the general public that show where the walls will be built, or why they will work and for how long. Saying plans are available to the lawmakers means nothing to me. Myself personally, Trump needs to change his tactics and hit the left where it will really hurt. Are any of us really that upset about people just like you or I trying to find a better way of life. I don't think so. Helping people is what we do, its what our great nation has always done. We have enough land and the natural resources to grow IMO. A settlement for immigrants to go somewhere in the US perhaps thats close to the border. reverse psychology... Trump could hit a home run with the right move...

Canal idea is contingent to where it would be applicable. Without surveying the border and providing the left with a sound plan of action the idea of a wall or anything else shouldn't fly with anyone IMO.
-
I really like the Panama-style canal idea, ambitious as it may be, you can do allot of things with water. Land owners might be more attracted to the idea vs a steel wall. and its something Mexico might actually help fund IMO.

Great minds think alike, Well done snafu...
-
True that on optimal locations.

A water way filled with great whites that don't get fed much ... ...some mexican beef burritos/drug cartel on occasion... ...I like it toad...

On the wall itself, why not incorporate solar panels and/or giant wind mills into the design where applicable. The barrier doesn't have to be just a wall, construct something that produces energy, self sufficient. Or something that helps transportation in some way.
-
Another important aspect of having poor border security is the ability to commit crimes in the US and escape justice crossing back into Mexico. Easy in is even easier out. Secure our borders with police/ patrol dogs carrying body Cam and GPS tracking devices with drone surveillance flying above them. End the problem...

Drug detecting canines are not whats needed to patrol our border from the people carrying them. Again, kill a patrol dog and go to prison. You will get caught and you won't complete your objective. One sniff of fentanyl can kill the person that dispenses it. Thanks for the input, much appreciated Nanker

Absolutely 3rd, and I do believe a wall in higher traffic areas might make more sense.
