  1. Been at his best as a 3t which is not a glaring need rn
  2. I hear you. And he was an intriguing prospect before he sat out He has the body type of a James Hardy or Dorial Green Beckham.. who wouldn't want a 6'6 sleek long wide receiver if he could play at a high level
  3. I don't think I'm trying to take over a thread. I just gave my opinion that I don't think he's an NFL tight end prospect This is a message board right
  4. If you're going to change positions in the NFL and Gain a lot of weight, you need to be able to keep your athleticism He's already not that fast, or agile So adding 30 lb certainly is only going to hurt his athleticism.. which is why I say he's probably maxed out As in he is the most athletic he will be at his size.. everybody can add 10 or 20 pounds of muscle, but that doesn't mean it's going to help you athletically .. some people gain 10 lb of muscle and get faster.. I don't think that's his case And you can't get on the field in our offense as a tight end if you can't block.. that's why Knox has lost reps And if you're going to just flex out a tight end, you might as well flex out Knox who is big strong and fast
  5. He's already put on most of the weight that he could at Colorado State. He would need to add another 40 lb to play tight end He just doesn't have the frame , even though he's 6'6. He's basically maxed it out
  6. It was a super young team! I reckon maybe one of the youngest national championship team in history.. or close too with that kentucky squad
  7. I like how before the game, some off the record assistant, called boeheim and Girard lunch time YMCA players.. Then both were hitting shots from half court 😏
  8. Did you hold? Would have been a great
  9. Spring Practice is underway! Horns up 🤘🤘
  10. There's just a lot more basketball talent than there was 25 years ago.. and the Blue bloods very rarely have kids stay for 4 years So if your a borderline high major recruit you can sit for 2 years and play two at Duke, or play all 4 at a school like Loyola or UB And those mid majors are usually upperclassmen heavy.. all it takes is one good recruiting class of three kids, and when they're all upperclassmen.. they're going to have talent and experience
  11. It's tough. Even though Syracuse hasn't had the regular season success as of late.. it's still Syracuse And boeheim recruits kids with NBA dreams and can develop them.. and most of those kids don't last four years
  12. Griffin has the skill set of an NBA player just not the consistency. And I agree with Quincey.. he comes back he could be an All American if he continues to grow his game
  13. In honor of March madness. GMAC and mello mania
  14. Absolutely. But I wouldn't expect most players from Syracuse to use that extra year of eligibility for covid Even the players that aren't NBA caliber in Syracuse are professional caliber overseas.. If sidibe is healthy I can see him taking it tho And I never said that Braswell has to handle it like a point guard. but a small forward that gets in the nba absolutely has to be able to put the ball on the deck.. atleast like oshae brissett , or kris Joseph.. and create his own shot.. he can't yet I'm not saying he can't get there, because Syracuse is always great at developing players.. I just think he's more of a James Sutherland 3&d guy Lydon should have absolutely stayed Oshae played on the perimeter enough. He took four three pointers a game, only making a pedestrian 30%... he was much better down low anyways
  15. We have seen some of Richmond, Girard , Buddy and Dolezaj on the court together.. it's a good offensive lineup but it struggles to rebound And people need remember Girard is still only a sophomore.. people put pressure on him like he's supposed to be a top 10 pick... We're going to need him this tournament and the next couple years if we want to go anywhere He's a really good shooting point guard but he does have some limitations.. but so do most players
  16. It's like apples to oranges. One is a 6'5 true freshman point guard with an elite skill set for the NBA Braswell is basically a junior coming into his best basketball now.. and he really can't go off the dribble much.. he's a tremendous athlete, knows the defensive zone, and is a solid shooter.. I like his game and I think he's going to be a good part of the team next year I think guerrier has a better chance of getting drafted honestly when he decides to leave Syracuse has a great history of small forwards getting drafted. Recently Elijah Hughes, malachi richardson, gbinije, jerami grant, kris Joseph... I think incoming freshman Benny Williams will be next up
  17. He's already a RS SO so he only has 2 years left on the hill and I don't think he's an NBA guy Richmond on the other hand
  18. Dolezaj is the most important person on the team. The offense runs through him at the top of the key And you can't say that about any 611 big man in the country.. his skill set is so unique and makes him so valuable
  19. What a thriller! Dolezaj passes like magic!
  20. Boeheim in his career has coached circles around Bob Huggins Let's hope it continues
  21. 2 years ago I would have said absolutely not getting drafted.. Now he is absolutely the best shooter in college basketball And he's 6 ft 6. Some say 6'7.. Somebody will want to put him in a Kyle korver three-point specialist mode
  22. Marek and braswell have been there the longest and know the defense much better than Griffin Richmond, Buddy, Braswell, Dolezaj, Edwards Richmond, Girard, Buddy, Braswell, Dolezaj Girard, Buddy, Braswell, Guerrier, Dolezaj Girard , Buddy, Braswell, Dolezaj, Edwards Lots of options. This team is what I thought it would be at the beginning of the year
  23. NOBODY wants to play the orangemen rn
  24. Buddy boeheim is going to the NBA
