  1. Players get there meal plan taken right out of the check to pay for electricity
  2. All very true and I'm not a lawyer and have not read the contract If they are going above and beyond that's sad.. if they layed out some specific things, like no basketball or snowboarding... To protect his knees I understand that
  3. I think he wants people to think he's the first player with a clause in his contract There are NFL players who have a defaulting clause in their NFL contract He's not the first Now maybe the Bengals are really pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable but NFL contracts have definitely included them before But every single contract has a conduct detrimental to the team clause
  4. Some players have clauses in their contract It's not so they can terminate his contract if he's the wrong player... It's so they can terminate his guarantees if he tears his ACL playing basketball in the off-season The bills did not give Hines all his guaranteed money when he got into that Ski-Doo accident... He lost money
  5. Yea he signed
  6. There are players in the NFL who have clauses in their contract Defaulting... Could be a host of things.. but typically something the player is in control of Like he's water skiing, and not supposed to.. and he shreds his knee and cannot play Or A player defaulting on a contract could involve violating a covenant related to conduct (e.g., violating team rules or engaging in illegal activities
  7. NFLPA allows for clauses in contracts including defaulting Rub and tug DeShaun Watson has a defaulting clause in his contract like if you do something stupid as an NFL player.. and destroy your knee water skiing the contract is definitely going to get voided .. that would be something that could default a contract
  8. Ah yes Rivera and his 497 winning percentage Sean McDermott is literally top 15 all time if you take modern NFL coaches Nobody would take Ron Rivera over Sean McDermott You seem to always forget that winning the super bowl in the NFL is a combination of coaching talent luck healthiness Dan Marino is the best pure quarterback in the history of the game and he never won... Jeff hostetler and Mark rypien have super bowls lol Sean McDermott gets credit for helping Josh Allen develop... How many insanely talented quarterbacks bust? How many raw quarterbacks bust? Sean has been there since day one and been a calming coaching influence and the type of guy that lets young players grow
  9. The ribeye I'm grilling right now goes great with it I pour some over the ribeye and let the charcoal flames erupt
  10. Damn I usually just knock out the entire bag cuz they're addicting and they go well with whiskey haha
  11. When we finally win the big one he'll be the first one to say he always believed in McDermott!
  12. When people say gangly and lanky this is what I think Kincaid does look like an NFL player I've seen him plenty of times I get it everybody is ripping on his frame in this thread and it's fun to join in.. the NBA player I showed is skinny Dalton Kincaid is not
  13. Who cares what the media thinks.. he has a contract you honor your contract I have a million plus reasons why he should show up and play football
  14. Yeah what's 6'4 240 lb kids are cutting lawns ? that's the opposite of pedestrian lol he's literally a grown man and there are smaller tight ends than him in the NFL
  15. He played with Jim Kelly , Doug flutie and Drew bledsoe Josh Gordon went for 1700 yards with ghosts of quarterbacks none of which we're close to the three I named He's a world class talent who was inconsistent his entire career and that wasn't going to change with anybody... Andre Johnson played with Matt schaub most of his career and has 14,000 yards And bledsoe and flutie could force feed a wide receiver... He's not magically getting 4,000 more yards with his injury problems and inconsistency Bills fans always want to look back and to think what could have been.. but he absolutely is what he is He was a top 5/8 wide receiver who had the potential to be more but that's also on him not the QBs Even bad professional quarterbacks can force feed a superstar wide receiver
  16. Legitimately the type of hustle play that comes from years of grinding, being told you're too small, not strong enough, didn't play at a good enough college His entire career playing football can be surmised in one play Hustle and never giving up I hope he is living his best life and I wanted to really give someone a shine who doesn't get it.. Zimmer was your quintessential Sean McDermott player
  17. This is not my favorite player but I'm going to give a true shout out to a real unheralded player Guys like Eric moulds were pro bowlers and considered peers to Terrell Owens.. that's not underrated He is what he is a phenomenal football player who had more potential and didn't do it Justin zimmer spent a year on our practice squad.. went to the CFL.. bounced around a few other NFL squads Landed back in Buffalo with McDermott.. busted his ass as a rotational defensive tackle, when he was maybe the 7th guy in training camp Became a glue guy for the team that the team loved.. and ended up having a game-winning strip of Cam Newton versus the Patriots when they were going down on a game-winning drive That's an underappreciated player
  18. When ichiro Suzuki hit a line drive down the right field line and comes to first base That's a 1B or a single ✌️
  19. Without a doubt he's tough as nails and a warrior Obviously nothing but respect just wish he had a better showing
  20. I mean everybody in the UFL was a college football player Most were respectively obviously starters and or campus star players And there's plenty of players from Ohio State Georgia and Michigan on those teams Michigan has a 120 kids.. 15 went to the NFL , and most of them will not have long time careers it will obviously be closer than an NFL versus a college football game.. but I don't think it would be a blowout I think it'd be close Again the differences Michigan is the best amateurs in the world these are the worst professionals
  21. if players take a boatload of money they should have to guarantee multiple years at a school Schools are not going to take fishing out all this money just for them to transfer 9 months NFL players sign contracts and cannot transfer... That's going to be a rule sooner than later If they're getting paid they have to commit.. you can't take 2 million dollars just for a red shirt and then leave That's also ruining the integrity of amateur Athletics That's why all of this is messed up.. college football players have been getting paid for a long time Under the table But now it's destroying the landscape
  22. Yes , yes he did Don't think most people realized he was also fighting on short notice even though that's not a good enough excuse for his terrible performance
  23. This is all going to come crashing down in the next 5 to 10 years players taking millions of dollar and transferring multiple times it's not going to last long time Also the roster limit cut to 105 is going to severely hurt a bunch of middle programs who always relied on strong Walk-Ons Plenty of schools have strong walk on histories and this is going to hurt
  24. I'm going to break this guy's fist before he breaks my face That's a risky strategy
  25. Jeez it was not a good look Did Patchy know that he could move his head
