  1. The bills are never leaving
  2. There is literally no science to drafting a player… science could never measure a kids internal motivations …. Wants , needs …. What makes him tick its a crapshoot …. Because talent only takes you so far
  3. Stands no ground lol
  4. Nobody runs a 43 or a 34 the majority of the time anymore There’s too much speed and wide receivers on the field The NFL is all about sub packages …. Nickel and Hybrid dime defenses Even if we use more 43 looks it would never be close to 70% like base defenses 25 years ago you can run more 43 and keep Taron on the team lol
  5. He’s one of the better back end roster guys in the NFL versatile , special teams , team guy… he’s one of the better 49-53 guys in the league all those guys are depth , st guys
  6. Starling was very interested in SU coming out we were in final 3 iirc and ND made heavy push
  7. Beane didn’t draft Milano!!!!
  8. Jackson St is D1 FCS is Lowest level D1 bit your point stands … not FBS
  9. It’s easy lol 25 seconds a pop that’s called model of consistency lol I didn’t realize you needed 9 inch dongs to have a lot of children
  10. Yea he said it will be a mix
  11. You don’t realize how hard it is to recruit in the MAAC at canisius lol what recruit with D1 talent would that be their 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th option? it’s not like 1970 anymore … they get bottom of barrel D1 kids
  12. Because I don’t know how anyone thinks he would go to guard before replacing the turnstile at RT Brown would be Swing tackle way before Dawkins is just kicked inside
  13. Cordy Glenn Had a longer and better career at tackle Than guard a left tackle who is consistent and doesn’t miss games… Dawkins is absolutely in the top 12…. Is way more valuable than what he could be as a guard He would be at Right tackle well before Guard he isn’t quinton Nelson
  14. Dawkins is going to RT before guard They’re not taking a top 12 left tackle and moving him to guard… not happening
  15. I’ve heard it too But I’ve also heard it in the past… but yes I think a sticky man defense… That occasionally drops into the zone would be ideal we have the athletes
  16. Yes it’s tougher to get top 15 kids because they have 1 and done aspirations… top 10 pick aspirations and NBA scouts hate the zone and wants to see sticky man.. which no SU player puts on film and yes great shooting has made the zone tougher to be great …. But I still go back to the great defensive teams in the past… Always trapping in the short corner… Hands-up, Flying around the court.. I just haven’t seen that tenacity recently
  17. Everything they get is from Pundits… And lots get money from agent to prop players up I remember I had friends in the combine who guaranteed me Cesar Ruiz would be the first interior o lineman taken in the draft And people here said he’s going in the fourth round lol and I said I guarantee he’s the first off the board… guaranteed Because the Scouts on the ground spread the info… And I believe them over pundits with a preconception And guess what… First round , first interior lineman taken and I was called crazy… but pundits are paid to say things… Matt Barkley was the “#1 pick at one point” lol I never had him higher than a fifth round and most scouts were harsher
  18. Hes not quintin Nelson or Zach Martin … not at all He’s better used at left tackle than being a top 10 guard who doesn’t impact the game A top 12 left tackle is invaluable… Especially under 30 hes playing RT before Guard lol
  19. Heart and internal motivation are different Jordan Phillips shows tons of heart on the field .. he doesn’t have internal motivation to be great but he could be great … he doesn’t want to but he plays with tons of passion and heart on the field … plays through injuries … big energy …. but he doesn’t have the internal motivation to be dominate all the time..
  20. Lots of people knew like kuechley would be great lol and you are stretching it now… you could NEVER know who a person is until you spend time with them … there are A LOT of fake people there are fake coaches … you do not know a guy from game film… you see on field passion … which TONS of guys have had and lost You do not know their internal motivations … what makes them angry , happy , sad… tons of players have extreme passion TO GET PAID drafting has ALWAYS BEEN a crapshoot which is why no team drafts consistent all pros or hall of famers regularly If it was that easy teams would draft all pros and hall of famers yearly … it’s hard… especially because you have to wait in a draft
  21. You are comparing in on field motor to somebody’s internal work ethic and want Plenty of players have displayed a high motor only to get paid and never play like that again A persons character means just as much is their talent And you will never be able to find somebody’s character on film.. You could never find somebody’s character and want on film It’s why they do interviews… And you can still lie your way through interviews… It is really hard to find somebody internal goal They are all not built like JJ Watt
  22. The Bengals have had 4 scouts in their organization for 30 years.. just bumped to 8 And have been mocked relentlessly for how little they put into their scouting department Yet they can still draft good players Having vast resources in scouting… Means you can see more games at one time… And Go to smaller one AA or even division 2 schools I have friends at the scouting combine… There’s a general consensus on the top 60 or so players in the draft… talent wise Now what makes it a crapshoot is you can’t measure someone’s heart and want … or how little they want it marcel dareus Could have been a first ballot Hall of Famer… They don’t make 330 pounders like that… But he decided the grind wasnt worth it Compare that that to meatball… Who physically is undersized for the NFL… Late round draft pick… Busted his ass to become a stud because of want Scout still liked meatball enough to draft them him in the fifth round… an honor … But his size and explosive skills Didn’t warrant the top 30 pick the day of the draft In hindsight he was worth a top 20 pick… Scouts will never be able to measure someone’s heart
  23. That’s not true The NFL is all about Fit… Where and who you are drafted by… What scheme and role you play 85% of the league is role players … and role players becomes pro bowlers and stars by being in the right place very few … the elite 10-15% of the league are studs who can play in any system or scheme EVERY player in the NFL oozes talent … they were all studs in HS and college very few can do it anywhere the draft is a crapshoot in that way There’s dozens and dozens and dozens of players that will have long careers from this draft… Top 30 prospects shouldn’t be eligible… because they are supposed to be good But that’s why Scheme and landing spot is everything
