Bills' Bye Week News

So we had a shot to bring in some WRs over the bye and give them 2 weeks to get ready for Tampa and we did nothing? Hopefully our defense can hold teams under 10 points for a while because we arent going to score points. There is no excuse for not trying to get better at the WR position. Im far from a Tyrod guy and I dont think hes good enough but come on. Give the guy a guy or two to throw to. Its the same thing we did last year. Putting our current group of WRs on the field next Sunday is inexcusable. -

Contender for longest playoff drought in nfl history -
I was thinking of this earlier today as a joke but then I started really thinking about the levels of it that make it an interesting thought... What if we traded both our firsts to the Giants For Eli and their first? Then you have a qb that might actually help our team this year and next. And you also are gambling that without Eli they Finnish with the worst record in the league. And you then also move up in the draft (most likely) without the kings ransom you may need come the offseason. And you take a team that may take a qb ahead of you, out of the equation. We could potentially move up to 1 or 2 right now by doing that. And get a qb that despite recent struggles, could get us to the playoffs this season and teach the rookie we take with the giants pick.

Lynn took over after week 2 last year. Didnt really do anything different. This year we dont look much different. We dont pass more because our qb is not a good passer. The other defenses realize it. Not sure why its an issue that im pointing it out. -

There is nothing in between the thing I said abd the thing you said...more then half of the qbs in the league would be trusted to throw more. We ran so much because we couldnt throw. -

Any non Bills homer realizes how limited our passing offense is. Im not sure how anyone can even pretend otherwise? -

The other guy used comp%. If you are throwing safe passes that lead to nowhere drives abd punts, who cares Do you think if our OC thought we had a capable qb we would still be a run heavy offense? I mean come on. I get you are insta tyrod defender on every single thing but even you must get this. We were a run heavy offense because we know we couldnt throw. You think if we had Arron Rogers we are running all the time? Be objective here -

Those are stats. Not eye test. Our passing game is terrible. -

Based on what? Having bottom of the league passing stats for the entirety of his time as a starter? Or acting like a 7 year veteran still needs time to figure out that the WRs are there to throw to? -
Refs for the Bills game are...

Could have just put terrible and it would have covered the whole season -
I wont be mad with anyone they do bring in. Il only be mad when we dont bring anyone in.

The chargers and 49ers are about to be in a full blown rebuild. They are both going nowhere this year and I guarantee would be willing to move off of veterans. The 49ers are 0-5. You think they would be worried about keeping Pierre Garçon at this point? What are they going to do, go 1-15 with him instead of 0-16? We have the right qb for it
-
We could go 11-5 and it's not all that crazy.

2 completions for 14 yards? Thats probably what we will have against TB at halftime. Wont make a move for any real WRs and we will just get smothered on offense every week -
How so? You dont think getting a Pierre Garçon or a Keenan Allen for a 3rd is reasonable? Those teams are going nowhere and would probably jump at the chance at getting anything for anyone. Those players are also much better then anyone we have and will most likely be twice as good as anyone we end up taking in the 3rd round next year.

If we dont find a way to bring in at least 1, possibly 2 starting caliber WRs during this bye week...Im going to start to get aggravated with this GM. I dont like a lot of the roster moves made in the offseason and early part of the season, not addressing the WR position with viable professionals is going to be inexcusable. I dont want to hear about next years draft. We have 6 picks in the first 3 rounds. We can afford to give up a 3rd for a guy that can help us end the playoff drought. At some point you need to stop worrying about fairy tale futures and start taking advantage of the obtainable present

The worst part is the team trading the player almost never gets fair value. You can almost always steal guys for picks. The nfl over values draft picks so bad its sickening
