Bills -Broncos Post Game Thread Week 2 Preseason
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to muppy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m actually good with this. I think I like Singletary Blackshear and Cook with Gilliam short yardage if necessary. Moss looks better yes but damn is he slow. -
Was that Zach Moss run actually impressive?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have been on a roller coaster with Moss: going between liking him a ton, being completely done with him and everywhere in between. It was nice to see him have a good day but man is he slow lol. It’s noticeable every time he touches the ball. He’s frustratingly slow. I think he will get used quite a bit in the preseason, maybe even to be showcased a little and then be a complete non factor once the games matter. I liked what I saw from Blackshear a lot and Duke looked strong on ST. You already know the other 2 guys are ahead of him here.. I see nowhere for Moss whatsoever when the cuts end. -
As unpopular as it might be and obviously this could change, but I think think would play Crowder anywhere they needed a guy. He’s a very good player. It seems to not be going great here to start but I really hope we don’t do something dumb like cut him.

I think Poyer makes it (probably almost immediately after 50) but maybe no Hyde. Josh obviously, Diggs and that’s probably it. White missed too much of the year.

Postgame thread:Bills 27 - Colts 24

Elam looks good. Hard to take much from a game with such a mix of talent levels from both sides….but I like Elam out there. Shakir also very impressive IMO -

You’d think 3 or 4 hotels close by would make sense. -
I’d say Daquan Jones as a starter is a little surprising. Not saying there should be a clear cut guy that starts above him but I was curious to the move next to Ed. I’d say I wasn’t positive it wasn’t going to be Settle

Best value picks in Bills history?

All Things considered I’d say Trey White has been. Slid way down and got an elite player at a very important position and also got another 1st. Millano certainly as well -
Hall of Fame Game tonight 8pm NBC
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The feeling of having football back is incredible. The way everyone acts excited about the super bowl…that’s the end of football. This is the start of it. The most football is left right now. Got to appreciate it…soak it all in -
Any word on how Cook has looked? More specifically running the ball? I’m assuming the pass catching option this is a borderline given. I want to know if this guy can turn into the whole deal here

I will always appreciate Tyrod for being the QB to end the drought. They will never go away. All of a sudden we got a few years of really good football and we seem to forget where we came from. I still remember how bad it was and how long we suffered. Tyrod wasn’t Josh Allen but he was the guy that ended the suffering and I will always be thankful to him for that. Wish him the best

Our defense has been pretty good since he’s been here and he’s one of us so i don’t want to just go all in here…but why would he get hired again as a head coach? He’d be an old retread that runs a soft shell zone, zero aggression, no fire, stands there like a wax figure and was a bad head coach the first time? Now he’s the DC of a loaded team with a defensive minded head coach that is no doubt pulling the strings. Almost every good QB has all day to just get comfortable and make throws. Thankfully our cover guys are excellent. That covers up a lot. I hate his conservative play calling and often wish McDermott would just completely take over this defense. We could definitely do worse, don’t get me wrong. It’s not as if the guy is bad or anything….but why would you hire this guy as a HC? He seems like a great guy and he’s performing pretty well in his current role. But good coordinators are sometimes just that. He got a chance and pretty much showed why it’s not worth it.

If this team fired off 90s throwbacks with red helmets, they’d sell out every piece of merchandise in a week

Niners’ Kittle advocating for two bye weeks
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to UConn James's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every time there was talk about adding weeks to the schedule, I always said why not throw another bye in. That way the nfl can technically stretch the season another whole week without even adding a game and the players association would take it to counter the safety issues of playing another game. I’m not sure why there already isn’t two. It’s a win-win for the league and the players. -
We just have to get 1. Can’t look back 10 years from when this ends and think we were right there but didn’t close it. This time, it has to be done.

Tyreek Hill says Tua is more accurate than Mahomes
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tua is absolutely super accurate. I wouldn’t doubt that Hill is right. The biggest issue is Tua’s arm is about as strong as Chad Pennington’s, after all the surgeries. The guy is definitely very accurate or else he wouldn’t be in the league. His arm strength is as poor as I have ever seen and I feel like it will keep him from ever becoming a decent NFL QB. -
ESPN plus is pretty good. Really helps a lot for sports betting with the NHL and College basketball

NFL looking at ways to improve the Pro Bowl
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the simple fix, keep all the equipment on and just play decently full contact but put flags on. That way there’s no grey area when the play ends
