NFL Draft 2022 Second & Third Round Discussion Thread
JohnBonhamRocks replied to UKBillFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gonna have three 6th round punters battle Haack -
Great to lock down CB2. Plus now Dane Jackson becomes a high end CB4. Worth a 4th round pick and it is not close.
-
I bet Beane was pounding the table for Elam, which is how the trade happened.

30 7/8″ Arms 🤤

Voted stay put because I think out of all the draft picks in NFL history, most were not traded.
-
For this year at least I wonder if both he and McKenzie could make the roster or if they would be redundant.
-
McD will officially have a CB type then. Guys w/ long “a” sounds.

No need to apologize -
5th year option, what positions constitute it the most?
JohnBonhamRocks replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think an interesting focus would be which positions get their 5th year options picked up the most. -
Poor Buffalo tables. First jumping through them. Now pounding them for the likes of Cole Beasley, Christian Watson, and Bobby Hart.

Am I the only one who hasn't completely given up on Zack Moss?
JohnBonhamRocks replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he could find a role in the offense mostly based on his pass catching. That will only be increasingly important. I’m not sure, but I would hope he’s a decent pass blocker with his size. Combine those with a hopeful improvement as a short yardage / goaline back and he might stick around. -
Source: Bills interested in Western Michigan WR Skyy Moore

Breaking: Teams in pass dominated league want pass catchers on rookie contracts, especially after this off-season, per “source”. -
List of draft players Bills have met with

Lewis Cine RAS: 9.9 “Cine is yet another Georgia defender on this list with the sixth-best RAS finish over the past decade. A 4.37-second 40-yard dash and 1.45-second 10-yard split (both 99th percentile) got him noticed for his excellent speed and closing acceleration, while his 133-inch broad jump (98th percentile) also put him in elite company. Cine reads the game exceptionally well and is a sound tackler with NFL-caliber physicality. It wouldn’t be shocking to see him land in the back of the first round with these athletic numbers.” https://www.lineups.com/articles/nfl-draft-2022-relative-athletic-score-standouts-at-every-position/ -

Pounding the table for Christian Watson at 25

Literally came here to post that the kid has “Josh Allen strides”. I wonder if having long strides at top speed means a player necessarily isn’t as good of a short/intermediate runner. Maybe the long strides only happen once he has hit top speed? Outside of - and maybe including depending on Dane Jackson or FA additions to come - CB2, that might describe any player we draft given our roster-wide depth. -
Bills match Bears Offer Sheet for Ryan Bates, 4 yr deal
JohnBonhamRocks replied to nato7412's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like long ago somewhere in this thread should have been said: Bears. Bates. Battlestar Galactica. -
What non-QB has the highest trade value in the NFL?
JohnBonhamRocks replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen as a HB. But really I’ll say Chase, especially with how the market has gone this off-season.
