COme on...it's not even close to the worst scene. Like you said it's just a cooler between four guys who all either have ridiculous bankrolls or are staked/backed either by the house or the British government. There's no implication that any of these guys are supposed to be top pros iirc.
The Rounders scene where Mike is recounting his run-in with Johnny Chan is the worst poker scene ever. First off he says he sits a 300/600 table with 6k which wouldn't even been allowed most likely. Second, the hand he tells Knish about is all preflop, meaning that the action would have had to have gone: min raise-min raise-min3bet-min4bet and Chan FOLDS to shove of about 2BB lmfao. This isn't even getting into the fact that Johnny Chan did all this against some unknown dude who just bought in pathetically short looking to get his 10BB stack in against the best of all time without knowing 100% his range needs to be QQ+ to even consider some whacky min raise line like he took.
