  2. Brian Thomas Jr has a shot too 😥
  3. thank god samuel has to be ready
  4. Bengals defense vs Chiefs offense in playoffs- 23.4 ppg against, allow 5.5 ypp Niners defense vs Chiefs offense in playoffs- 28 ppg against, allow 5.55 ypp Ravens defense vs Chiefs offense in playoffs- 17 ppg against, allow 4.4 ypp ...Bills defense vs Chiefs offense in playoffs- 35.6 ppg against, allow 7.4 ypp
  5. Literally could not have picked a worse/less relevant counter example Just awful
  6. The guy I replied to was literally talking about draft picks
  7. Most teams w franchise type guys have...ravens, chargers, dolphins, jags just did it etc etc I wouldn't say we use only assets on th defense, I would say the defense typically gets priority Havent laid blame for that on anyone in particular, at least not in this thread that I can remember
  8. We didn't draft Diggs, altho if we take the value of the pick we traded to Vikes the numbers get closer. Still leans toward defense however
  9. Imagine if three guys take a step forward Or better yet, four Imagine if five guys each take 2 steps forward
  10. Aren't you the guy in the other thread lecturing people on elevating the discourse? And this is the best you got ?😂😂foh
  11. since drafting Allen there has been an imbalance in the weighted value of their picks. I added up all the values and it heavily favored defense but tbh you can see it just by looking at the draft history page- after taking Allen the next four years' worth of top picks in the draft went defense/defense/defense/defense. I'm not sure another team after taking their franchise QB has done anything like that
  12. Then why tf do you keep @ me when that's the premise I was responding to originally from someone else
  13. Ok you don't like QBs then let's look at top 10 highest paid DEs Or how about corners or left tackles I'll spare you the suspense- not a lot of Super Bowl rings on any of those lists That's because there aren't a lot of Super Bowl rings to go around, not because being paid in the top10 of a given position means it isn't important, or you shouldn't spend $$$ there. You're arguing a bad premise.
  14. Before you contradict yourself further I wanted to let you know I have no idea what your point is anymore and you are free to continue arguing w youself
  15. very clearly talking AAV
  16. I did the draft value chart on Bills picks O vs D last season 'heavily slanted toward defense' is a fair characterization of our team specifically...unsure how it stacks up against the league as a whole
  17. i mean it wasnt great going into last season
  18. Do they really? Highest paid WR changes all the time as well And don't change the subject to 'high end contracts' lol. The guy I responded to quite clearly used lack of SB rings amongst top10 highest WR salaries to say they're a bad investment. I'm simply giving you the QB contrapositive to illustrate the silliness of the argument
  19. Does he really have a strong leg tho What evidence is there of that?
  20. so ill put you down for a no on extending him
  21. they certainly do, here's the 4th down bot obviously very very strongly in favor of FG which strictly as a component of EV i 100% agree with however i would also add some context to the decision tree- for example you can see if the 4th down attempt is successful your win percentage immediately jumps over the successful fg attempt...i would further complicate the matter by looking at allen's playoff success rate on 3rd/4th down and the fact that bass is a 33% kicker from 40-49 in the playoffs i think fg is still likely the call but i dont think its a slam dunk like some here seem to
  22. It's very tough having to read 'why is this board so negative' and then 'shakir is basically a clone of diggs' in back to back threads
