  1. Great year for sure🤙🤙 But some of us could tell from day1
  2. You certainly won't find me saying they played well vs the Bengals And w no qualifiers either
  3. aaand to the surprise of absolutely no one @Alphadawg7fails to recognize his own garbage statistic and proceeded to blow his argument's head off We done here bud
  4. im going to give you a lesson on why you shouldn't use an average and a percentage together like that in 100% of Dorsey's games as OC in 2023 we scored more PPG than the actual Super Bowl champions
  5. This is like using the cowboys game as a reason their OC sucks😂😂
  6. My point was actually at another poster- that using w/l is a poor method of OC e v a l But if you want to argue that allowing 200yards rushing and 56% on third down is playing remarkably well have at it I suppose you think the defense played well vs Chiefs in the playoffs too
  7. We allowed 200yards rushing, Sean McVay wouldn't be able to win TOP when that happens This is exactly the game to make my point. They lost this game for a multitude of factors, the offense being one of many. It wasn't Dorsey letting the Jags go 10/18 on third down out there
  8. That's why I included the Chiefs game vs same opponent because the game doesn't necessarily have to get out of hand when your offense sucks
  9. Yes As do all teams whose ppg gets tallied at seasons end Are you really so surprised I don't find a stretch of games wherein a teams scores below its average compelling evidence as to the capacity of the OC, ESPECIALLY considering how this particular bills team suffers from regular mid season lulls
  10. quality begets quality consider putting me on ignore if you're expecting anything more than a cursory hurdle over your 'points'
  11. granted obviously the interaction between offensive ppg and w/l is a lot more complicated than what's been laid out for example- the two game stretch where bass missed 3/4 fgs would add 9pts over a six game average which would obviously improve output...two of those were vs the Giants in a win (altho both were from 50+ iirc) another- we scored 25 in a loss vs Patriots where their season average ppg against was 21.5. we also lost v jags scoring 20 where the Chiefs were able to beat them scoring 17 im all for actual discourse on the offense. but there is a ton of nuance that gets left out
  12. Breaking news- teams tend to score fewer points in losses!
  13. Can we just agree to drop it because in all honesty I don't particularly care about being right, I care about the bills being good
  14. lol what on earth are you talking about YOU are the one who is consistently wrong and refuse to acknowledge it. you are probably more unapologetically wrong than almost anyone ive ever read on here. please dont make me bring up the diggs thread i will have no problem saying i was wrong about Brady and the offense if they look great this year. unlike you i am capable of changing my opinion w out gaslighting
  15. what are we even arguing about tho the results speak for themselves. you literally cant say he didnt do a good job in 2022
  16. 😂😂ive been way higher on dorsey than like 95% of this board from the jump yes i thought he did a good job
  17. You know that 2022 offense was elite right 2nd in PPG 2nd in ypg 2nd in points per drive 2nd in scoring drives yes they turned the ball over too much but it didnt stop them from dominating
  18. shanahan had issues w aiyuk at one point, didn't like his attitude or something personally id try to keep them both for as long as possible but we've see the better guy moved before, thats how we got diggs
  19. I mean yes they can afford it, they just don't want to I thought you meant something different nm
  20. If they're hesitant to pay aiyuk now why would they want to do it when he's 2yrs older
  21. 😂😂Of course you're not seeing it You believe Dorsey was fired for cause and that his top2 offense was 'predictable' and poorly designed said in another thread this season's offense is going to be a wake up call for a lot of folks but from the looks of it i'm probably giving them too much credit😂😂
  22. Again simply a gross misrepresentation of the offense under Dorsey poor and predictable schemes do not result in this https://x.com/minakimes/status/1724466437190975685
  23. Fwiw I hope I'm wrong about this coming year the g tobviously But the roster+what we saw last season leads me to believe they're going w a much more conservative approach and I think it's going to produce a significantly less productive offense
