McKenzie back on a one year deal was also for that reason. Stevenson getting hurt early muddled this plan but the NE game is exactly what I thought Bills were going to do. Stevenson at Return and McKenzie on the offense. make no mistake the ability of McKenzie to run a full field crosser and create massive separation with pure speed is something that Beasley can never do. And something that is dramatically missing from this years offense compared to 2020.

Well we have played in a Hurricane with Mac Jones, Cam Newton and Mac Jones again. I will wait to say teams will not exploit the loss of White for when we play a legit QB. brady did fine against them and feasted plenty.

What McKenzie brings back to this offense is something we have not seen this year but was a staple in the 2020 offense. the Full Field Crosser. beasley, Davis and others (Besides Diggs) cannot run it because don’t have the speed to gain the Separation. McKenzie does. he offers so much more IMO than Beasley. And should be the plan at Slot going forward into next year. At 32 Beasley has already lost steps and will continue to next year. Can get cheaper, younger and more explosive from the position next year. That is what you do when you have paid your QB.
