So many new faces on offense, it makes sense that the coaches would want to get them some confidence early on. I expect the D to give them different looks and make it more competitive in the new few practices.

I’m not sure I’d be super excited about giving either guy big bucks. Let’s use the extra cap money on a big tailgating party instead.

Bleh. I just see a smallish DT who is stuck in his own head. Watch the guy walk around flexing. He is either going to be great or get steam rolled and humbled. I don’t see a guy like that just filling a role.

Right. We don’t need to detail the questions about Oliver in/after his final season do we? Are you disagreeing that Oliver is an all or nothing type of pick?

Going into his last season at Ole Miss he was touted as a top 3 pick and plenty talk of him going at 1. He was the top rated HS prospect. Many thought Oliver was a top 3 guy. Nkemdiche has more height than Oliver but I find both of these guys to be boom or bust head case type of players. Oliver has his chance to boom. I said it back when Robert Nkemdiche was going through the draft process, the interviews are key for a coaching staff. From what I have seen of Beane and McD, they have a much better understanding of what and who wins than recent Bills coaches.

Both guys were the premiere interior DL prospects for their respective class and they both managed to screw it up. I like McD’s approach with Oliver, I’m hoping it works. Oliver is very much a boom or bust candidate much like the Ole Miss Spice Head.

Not trying to get any hate cats out of their litter boxes but this is the guy Oliver reminded me of. Top 3 lock, not so much and attitude questions. I’m not down on Oliver but I’m weary. I’m calling him Little Oliver until he gets a solo sack.

It’s saturday morning, some of the usual contributions are lacking because people are sleeping off last nights fun.

I was begging for this guy as a FA before Baltimore signed him. Perfect match with Allen. The AFC version of Wilson/Lockett.

The Bills will have to prove they can stop the inside run. I don’t trust the run D. I’m hoping Edmunds can prove me wrong.

I’m hopeful, as are we all. Otherwise RB becomes the new WR and the most mismanaged position in Buffalo. Here’s to hoping Singletary can take the bulk of the work and Gore can be used as a short yardage specialist.

Opened the thread as a Bills fan prepared to type McCoy. Then I read the post. ? Does Buffalo have the oldest and highest paid backfield? If so, we should avoid chiming in on real backfields.
