    I like Spikes because he is a throw back but if he takes the field with Preston that is going to be the slowest ILB duo I can think of. Hopefully Zach Brown can earn some serious playing time, he would be a better compliment to Preston.

    Saw a few pictures of big number 99 walking around in a t-shirt tonight, looking out of shape. Then here is a picture of Ragland from a few days ago.     Cargo shorts are fine they offer some utility for people. Skinny jeans are the devil, nothing like seeing a grown man in dick tight pants walking around like it's cool. It's not cool.

    Didn't seem very comfortable in Jax, he is comfortable at 3/4 speed. When the game speeds up EJ screws up.

    I will never forget the days when Berman and Jackson did NFL Primetime, the days before the rise of social media. Just thinking of their voices gives me that relaxing feeling of winding down after a tense day of football. Sure they had their faults but that duo will always remind me of my younger years. Mort looks rough, hang in there big fella.

    Ben McAdoo is going to surprise a lot of people. Coughlin's time was up with that team. The win total is set at 7.5 for the GMen, serious money to be made here. Find the total at 8 and it will be an even money bet. Boom.

    It's a hit to the depth of the linebacking core which has to be a concern but If both the Brown's stay healthy they may be more well rounded than the combination of Preston and Rags. A rookie ILB isn't going to make or break a season, continued injuries will though.

    I'm not sure how much the amount of contact has impacted injuries, I browsed for some leauge wide statistics but couldn't find much that goes years back. Some of it has to do with the 24/7/365 NFL news cycle though. We know who has a bent finger nail and how they did it before they even go home to their family that night. More fan watching more games now with fantasy leagues as well.

    I get that, it still takes some balls to schedule a game vs. a major program week 1.

    Some good games week 1 this year though LSU vs Wisconsin USC vs Bama Clemson vs Auburn They may have tune ups before hand no idea, just jumping in because I was impressed with those coaching scheduling good out of conference games the first week.

    I'm not really sure why they are so convinced they need to give him a bridge contract or anything longer than what he has. Why assume risk when you don't have too? If they are doing this out of good faith they better cover their asses on the back end of the deal and have a team option or it's a lose lose proposition.

    Opening ceremonies actually start at 7 EST but NBC will delay the broadcast until 8. Blah.

    Allen Robinson. Gronk's targets might drop a bit with the combination of Brady's suspension and the addition of Bennett. The Jags love to throw the ball around the lot and Robinson is far and away their best pass catcher.

    My paid league is on NFL.com. If 10 people are interested in doing a league for bragging rights I will set it up. Please be an active poster and an avid football fan so the league flows. It will be a dud if no one is changing lineups and playing the wire waiver etc. No money, just Bills pride. 10 man, standard scoring rules.

    Autographs are dumb for grown men but stopping and signing a few things for kids wouldn't be that much to ask would it? Hopefully he has the sense to do that for the younger fans.

    The day Darby is worth worrying about is the day you know we are going places. He is a stud, just stay healthy through the song and dance that we call preseason.

    Yeah a bunch of fun characters on that team, I will be pulling for them to win the NFC this year.
