  1. Magically may have been a bit harsh but TT has been in the NFL long enough that he should show SOMETHING. I'm sure some of it can be attributed to Lee and the coaching staff but I think we would be kidden ourselves if TT gets a free pass. Alot of fans want TT back because without him the season will most likely be lost before it begins but tough decisions need to be made otherwise round and round we go.
  2. It's simple for me, if the coaching staff and GM come to the conclusion that TT is never going to improve presnap then let him go. I understand that would be kicking out the solid floor that TT offers but this team needs to start looking forwarded and stop trying to patch together a 10-6 miracle season. The over/unders are higher than ever and we will always be limited with a QB who wears a blindfold at the LOS and can't execute a two minute drill. Shady's numbers are almost certainly going to start dropping, the Bills need a QB that can compensate for that. If that QB is not on the roster draft one high and move forward while addressing the roster holes in 17' and 18'. Don't sacrifice talent at other positions to continue down this path UNLESS TT is magically going to start processing the game at an NFL level.
  3. Sound strategy but I'm afraid the wrong guy is going to be overseeing it.
  4. Funny cuz he's fat? Funny like how!? https://www.google.com/amp/www.al.com/articles/19062949/reggie_ragland_dealing_with_kn.amp
  5. Are you implying that I haven't seen Ragland play? Go watch him huffing and puffing on the sidelines in the NCG or watch him take bad angles on the 6'4 240 pound Jalen Hurd. I have seen plenty of Ragland. If you want to beat the Patriots you simply don't draft this type of player. He will be exposed time and time again. I hope he proves me wrong but I'm not second guessing myself. He looked fat in the pictures I saw from camp shortly before he tore his knee up.
  6. I haven't had the chance to catch any college hoops yet this season, I will be lost come tourney time. From catching up on this thread it sounds like no Cuse this year? That's a bummer.
  7. Deion Jones should have been the pick not Ragland or Hackenbum. Instead of evolving with the NFL Whaley and Rex traded up for a throw back thumping ILB who is a liability with the modern day pinball scores.
  8. Well Dimitroff has shown and executed a plan on building an actual football team and not just assembling talent. That's the big difference between the Watkins and Julio trades, he had the QB in place and was able to bolster the defense with future picks and his work with pro personnel has been nothing less than spectacular. Gabriel was a Browns reject, Sanu, Levitre, Mack etc.
  9. Dimitroff will be giving the advice going forward. He has done very well managing that personnel. He seems like a cool cat too.
  10. I agree with what Kirby is saying. If they decide one of these guys are the future of the team then by all means trade up and get him. I'm not sure I Trust Whaley in that capacity but if he is the GM you need to allow him to make his picks.
  11. Hopefully Julio shows him what a talented WR can do. Anyone have time on their hands? Find us the last game a high profile WR torched the Patriots. Steve Smith and Jake Delhomme comes to mind in that Super Bowl game.
  12. What do you guys think of Watson's arm strength in a place like Buffalo? Any concerns? I heard Colin mention it today and it had me thinking. I prefer Mahomes over him anyways but this could be worth a discussion.
  13. So many times you needed a garbage time touchdown or a stop and Musberger always had a comment how that touchdown affected so many people lol. That's how I will always remember him, he always said what a gambling man was thinking.
  14. Me too but they can be sure they are America's team for the next two weeks.
  15. The pats used a 2nd rounder on him and have built his value...I don't think anything less than a first rounder gets it done. He is still cheap for another year and Brady has to decline right? Right?
  16. Hmm I wish that was the case. This is the time of year even the mothers and grandmothers are rocking their Tom Brady jerseys. Go to a grocery store on a Sunday and it's like your waking around Patriots Place. Find the one other random fan walking around and take joy in the fact that you both just hope the Pats blow it! Usually it's a steelers fan, on rare occasion we find other Bills fans and that usually results in hand shakes and talks of better days.
  17. Finished Homeland season 1 last night. Safe to safe we are addicted to this show!
  18. I was just going to say, that is their Jerry Sullivan. Weird article, almost looks like he is putting the jinx on.
  19. Would you pay Gilmore 14-16 per IF they are going to play primarily in zone coverage, just curious what folks think that possible change would do to his value here.
  20. Thanks it was dumb luck, I would have never ever messed around with an online casino but we had taken a few friends out for drinks at Longhorn and when we got home everyone passed out. Boredom set in and a few hours later I was waking everyone up and taking pictures of my computer screen wondering if I'd ever see the money.
  21. It's not about stats with Gilmore for me. You can only afford to cut big checks to a few players and each of those players need to bring more to the table than just doing their individual job. People may or may not like that approach but I'm a firm believer the highest paid guys need to lead from the front and not just show up. Gilmore isn't my flavor, he is to passive and that's reflected in my list above. I'd even take Peters over Gilmore because of his aggressiveness. Robert Alford is singed 4 years 38 million I think that is better value than Gilly at 4 and 56-58.
  22. He made a business decision and probably a smart one. It's easier to explain away a few bad plays while your sitting down healthy at an interview than it is to be sitting at that same interview on crutches and trying to convince your new future employer than you can return to a previous level of play. With that being said I hope he goes elsewhere.
  23. NRG has a retractable roof and it's my understanding they are planning to have it open if the weather cooperates. So it would be an open air game.
