At what point does the team take control and cut bait with Awil?

We are laughing at the Rob Ryan interview the same way Jags fans are laughing at the Bills for interviewing Olsen.

If the Pegula's agreed on chopping Rex and letting TT walk that is an indication they bought whatever Whaley was selling them during this season. Whaley is stronger now than ever and he will not be canned after next season. Rex was a clown and he opened this door for Whaley. I loved him too and he has the skill set you trade up for not Rags. As much as I liked this LSU guy I dislike Adams. He will be solid but not a top 10 talent.

I'm not expecting much from any of these guys it's much less painful that way. The line of questioning where they ask McDermott if he can keep Taylor is sloppy as all heck. It implies that the new coach should have decision making control of a guy that the sitting GM has worked with and should be able to make a much better prediction of the player going forward. OFC McDermott and the new OC should have input but the GM needs to be able to do his job.

That's not the point. If the owners like Whaley and think he is the right guy for the job then let him make the decisions. Personally I would have packed Whaley's belongings long ago but that don't matter either. He is the GM let him GM and let this coach handle the players.
